I vow to God ,to never more drink alcohol, as long as I live . And Jesus healed my son from colitis! He was suffering from colitis since 2016 and for more than 2 weeks he is healthy and living a normal, blessed life ,going to church and able to seat and hear the word the inteire service, going for hiking on the mountains to see water falls and even going to the gym. I praise God for, and I thank Jesus for the blessing 🙌 💕❤️
Praise the Lord 🙌🏻 for this amazing message , that is so needed, many Churches do not preach deep in the word🙏 they twist the word of God. . May the Lord continue to bless Bro. Tiff for blessing us 🙏
This was a wonderful message I have never heard in the church. I have not touched alcoholic drinks ever Since Jesus came into my heart. I tell others I do not want to become a stumbling block to a weaker person.
I am a tee toller myself. But if I did I would not drink in front of an AAA member. But the stumbling block has to to with the nation of Israel and their unbelief. Rejecting Jesus.
@@michellenurse456 Ps.104 [15] And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart. Moderation.
Thank brother Tiff for the boldness to teach the truth of the word of God 😊 May God keep blessing and protecting you ,your family, and God's ministry today and forever 🙏
My uncle Jesse used to teach the Bible in our home church when I was growing up and he was a very wise man. He used to tell people the alcohol we have today is not what they had in the Bible and he too agreed that the alcohol content could not have been anything that would’ve intoxicated a person or it would have been a sin for Jesus to make it. He didn’t have all of the in-depth theological teaching that you have brother Tiff but he did strive to search the scriptures and search history and he would’ve been extremely proud of the message that you just gave us. Thank you.
Read your bible. In the passage it's pointed out that it is good wine, John 2:9 & 10 Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
Amen! Jesus! I PRAISE you! Even as I’m struggling providing for my children. I will keep faith. I won’t allow the devil to manipulate my spirit. Please pray for me. Since covid I can’t seem to get back on my feet. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my health conditions. I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I’m now waitressing and so thankful to be working but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. I recently started homeschooling them because they were having so many issues with bullying. I feel so alone. It’s only because of the kindness of strangers I still have a place to call home. I’m fearful because every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets with my boys. Jesus hear my cries I’m so tired of not being able to afford simple things like food and clothes for my children. I will keep faith I believe in Jesus and I know he will provide. Amen! ❤
Be encouraged sister. If you study Paul he teaches life can be hard. But we have hope in Christ and a future in heaven. 1 Cor. 15: [19] If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. [20] But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. [21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. [22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Rom.8 [28] And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. -- learn Pauline truths to know God's purpose and he will work things out for the good.
Wow! This is such a powerful teaching it was like a grand finally at the end about saving the best for last! The water 💧 being turned into wine was the blood of Jesus doing away with the old! Amazing all glory to God!
I thank God for giving me the opportunity to find you in the internet. Beautiful teachings. God bless you brother Tiff. Following your bible studies from beautiful Guatemala city.
👍❤️.... TQsomuch Pastor Tiff 🙏❤️.... For clarifying this winetopic/study ... May the good LORD continue to Bless, keep, love and protect you and your ministry and all yours... AMEN AMEN AND AMEN 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
Thank you so much for this teaching--I was wrong in my views as many and all I should have realized was that Christ would not make a strong drink that was a sin, He never sinned--I have all the proof I need, the wine was not the wine that would make any drunk--once again I thank God for you and Thank You for giving to the Lord....
Seems to me your title is misleading. The answer would be yes. That completes the question. However, a better title may have been: Content, Confusion, and Correctness of Wine in the Bible. Alcohol In any Form Can be mind altering. Remember the saying: "Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker"? This implies That sugar, or candy, can, and does affect our thinking. Glucose is broken down In the body and alcohol is part of the process. And I'm sure there were some who were drunk at that wedding.
Thank you for your explanation . I have been confused about that until your clarification of the scripture. I am learning so much from your ministry. Thank you so much for your commitment in the study of the scripture.
The apostle whose teachings we are to adhere to says - Eph.5 [18] And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Deut. 14: 24 “Now when the Lord your God blesses you with a good harvest, the place of worship he chooses for his name to be honored might be too far for you to bring the tithe. 25 If so, you may sell the tithe portion of your crops and herds, put the money in a pouch, and go to the place the Lord your God has chosen. 26 When you arrive, you may use the money to buy any kind of food you want-cattle, sheep, goats, wine, or other alcoholic drink. Then feast there in the presence of the Lord your God and celebrate with your household. 27 And do not neglect the Levites in your town, for they will receive no allotment of land among you. Matt. 11: 18 For John didn’t spend his time eating and drinking, and you say, ‘He’s possessed by a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man,[f] on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!’ But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.” Prov. 31: 6 Alcohol is for the dying, and wine for those in bitter distress. 7 Let them drink to forget their poverty and remember their troubles no more. Listen to Paul. Eph. 5: 18 Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, Seem logical that alcohol has it's place according to the NLT and KJV But please get a grip on the Apostle Paul's teachings and remember that what he teaches was a progression in what our Saviour has done for us. Amazing grace.
What a wonderful teaching, you answered so many of my own questions, and you explain so so well ,that it makes it so easy to understand. Thank you. May God continue to bless you and give you strength.
Thankyou Ev Tiff for preaching the truth! Bless you! Human beings hate to give up something that they enjoy. It’s very hard for some. But we are warned in the Bible not to lead weaker believers into sinning. Even children seeing their believing parents drinking alcohol may grow up doing the same or drinking to excess. We must be careful as Christians not to lead anyone astray. If that means to stop drinking alcohol or anything else that we do then we must move closer to God not further away. Remember the most recent studies show that alcohol is poison to the body. Thankyou Tiff for your teachings I have learned so much! ❤🔥😀
Excellent teaching I always here that Jesus did not convert Water into wine, now that I here your teaching it's amazing how to understand the real true about how wine is done. Thanks
It seems that the sin is in the drunkenness not the wine. Like gluttony or gambling away your family’s money. I have been saved since I was 16 now 66 in Baptist Church. I enjoy a glass of wine a couple times a week. I really don’t see the sin in it.
Wife and I both are in our 60's and drink wine in moderation. We often go to wine tasting events with other church members. Alcohol is like money, the love for it and drunkenness is sinful.
@@trentvlakSame justification for smoking marijuana in moderation, vaping, smoking, etc ... people will always try to justify their addictions... Jesus didn't waste his time getting drunk and high with friends... he has more important things to do with his life...."to those who have ears let him hear".
I think you are right on this topic. People tend to justify things they are doing in their lives they don't want to give up that are typically bad habits or addictions.
Drinking alcoholic wine was a norm in Biblical times. Drinking alcohol whether it is 3% or 12 % or 40% is not an issue in the Bible. The issue is the abuse of alcohol and the consequences that result.
They added just enough wine to their dirty water in order to kill the bacteria in it. Timothy wasn’t doing that because he was against wine and was getting sick from the water. Paul told him to go ahead and add the wine to the water to keep from getting sick. That’s why he said to take a little wine for your stomach.
I really enjoy your videos and the wisdom you have. I have a question not related to this video. Can you please make a video explaining what happened to people in ancient times that never had the chance to hear the gospel? Like say the native Americans or other ancient civilizations that lived but never had the chance to hear about God or Jesus etc? I know God is a righteous judge but did those people just all go to hell after they died? This is something I’ve always been wondering about
First of all, God can create anything that He desires. The Greek word used for wine in the Bible is regular wine which contains alcohol which is developed by yeast fermentation. I believe that the amount of alcohol contained in the transformation was probably 3 percent or less. If so, it would be almost impossible to get drunk on that wine. A person would spend more time relieving their bladder than anything else! And you're right, Tiff. At least four times in the Bible it is stated not to drink in excess, and we know that drunkards are not welcome in heaven. Thank you for explaining that miracle correctly.
You're making stuff up to suit your opinion. John 2:9-10 9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
I hate the taste of wine I can’t even imagine drinking it with a meal I believe that the wine must’ve tasted like a nonalcoholic wine that’s why it tasted so good
I gotta tell you. I was born with mild cerebral palsy. I have been going to saint Marys church in the valley in yucca valley CA. I was not accepted well at that church. the secretary said they are a predominantly WHITE CHURCH. not sure how to take that comment. white supremacy ? So I was baptized as a mormon. and the mormons came calling. which is nice. So I am back attending Mormon Church in 29 Palms CA. where there is a huge army base. its next to Joshua Tree CA where I live. I know some dont recognize the mormon faith as correct but they are the only church that are kind and loving to me. unlike the Catholic Church I was going to.
Tiff addressed this in the Social Drinking teaching. Instead of drinking only water, Paul instructed Timothy to use a little Diluted wine (as a disinfectant for water) to prevent stomach ailments (parasites, bacteria, etc.). My math and comment: Timothy would have had to drink ~6+ glasses of their wine to equal one of our glasses of modern wine. To get buzzed he would have had to been a real glutton!
I’m wondering about first Corinthians 11:21 where Paul describes how to take communion. He talks about how some remain hungry while others get drunk. If the alcohol level was so low, how could those taking the communion meal get drunk? Thank you
Your statement is not an hundred percent right, fruits indeed produce alcohol by themselves....you said the earth has not produce one drop of alcohol.....you refuse to accept that your statement was not fully thought out.
Alcohol use and speaking in tounges has always been highly debated topics around here. I do know if you drink to much, you'll speak a language that is difficult to understand 😂....... sorry, a little humor.
