the problem with playing mishima with dpad is the rubber contact. you'll find yourself loosing kbd and waivu in a week if u stopped playing its kinda weird but i think the silicon will get hardened or something like that
as a fellow Wavuwavu Main who plays on ps5 controller, i gotta ask, did the wavu wavu dashes, EWGF and maybe PEWGF become easier to do consistently once you got used to it compared to controller?
I basically learned everything by playing with a pad, even ewgf, pewgf.. I feel like my movement with leverless is more natural and effective but if I had never played with a pad before, maybe my opinion would be different
1:30 are you sure about the Xbox part? Third party controller support for Xbox is notoriously barren and the QRD website only promotes PS5/Nintendo Switch accessories. As a filthy Xbox player I can only look on in envy of people using arcade stick and leverless thanks to the lack of support and adapters that often become obsolete after MS updates. In regards to Leverless itself, is it true what they say about leverless making the easy execution stuff hard and the hard stuff easy? Also, really sick editing as usual, goddamn.
Xbox doesn't like FGs for some reason. . . Edit: just checked their site's info on this controller and it says you need the converter for PS5 and the Xbox Series consoles.
@@Zel-Veraan They really don't, it sucks lmao. I didn't notice the orange text saying that, thanks. It still feels iffy though because its only mentioned on that one image and not in the technical specs or the comparison vs hitboxes (which states all available platforms, including PS5 via adapter but not Xbox). Feels like quite the gamble tbh. might send their support an email and see what they say haha.
QRD informed me that their current products only support Xbox 360 and Xbox Series S/X require an additional converter. About leverless controllers, yea they give better precision for complex moves, like quicker inputs, but for someone who's been playing with a pad for years, the transition isn't that quick or easy, and everyone has their own preference. Personally, I play better with pad cause I've spent years playing it in almost every game.
@@realValkyshima Aah thanks for the information. I'd sent them an email but no clarification for now so I appreciate it. Yeah tbh I don't think the transition would be smooth but I've always loved the idea of owning a dedicate FG controller. Considering the weird state of consoles and their pricing in recent years I'll prob switch to PC in the future and not have to worry about these compatability issues anyway ahaha.
@@kronksstronkstonks6360 forget compatibility issues, YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY for online service! Steam is great for that. Also, as someone who loves playing on a regular controller, check out the Victrix BFG Pro controller.
Nice conpilation at the beginning. People say they need a good deal of time to get used to the switch from pad to leverless but it looks like you're already there. Can't wait to see the wavus and 3 1 cancels
