I feel for Meg. She is a healer at her core and she sees the best in people. This man hates her but that just draws her closer to him because he opens up to her and makes her feel like she understands him/can help him. I know she’s a grown ass woman but she is so vulnerable and I’m sad for her.
I can’t bring myself to watch her on Club Shay Shay bc I hate 2nd embarrassment but I saw a clip lol. I’m not judging but I know she’s getting dragged and that’s sad to see. She mentioned that 1) Devon left her year 10 of their marriage and that her father left and divorced her mother at the 10yr mark or when Megan was 10yrs old or both. Most didn’t know Devon ended the relationship, it was not mutual or her desire. Depending on how her parents marriage looked that dynamics post divorce I can completely see why she’s vulnerable. I saw someone make the point that Megan dated the bad boys before Devon and since Devon was “good” and it didn’t work out how she envisioned she’s gone bad again. Instead of the obvious bad boy she’s now with the “tortured soul” type, instead of the abuse being cheating and time wasting it’s caretaking and mental gymnastics. As a result of Devon maybe this is an over correction. Sometimes we overcorrect externally instead of going internally and go for the opposite of what we just had because we don’t have the tools and/or awareness to address the chaos we don’t realize inside. Sad all around. She’s getting clowned so bad bc she seems old enough to know better but abuse has no age. The warning from friends and clowning from media is contributing to her clinging to him all the more. Very textbook DV, psychological warfare.

Megan is a sweet and genuine person. My friends and I were out one night and got a chance to hang with her and one of her cousins a few years back here in NYC. She’s the real deal. I’m sorry BUT I still don’t trust Mr. Majors. I believe everyone deserves a chance at redemption but after that assault and those accounts of his past behavior-he needs deep work not just a beautiful Black woman on his arm. IDK. J majors has never been social. He’s always been socially awkward. But still I think why would you lift someone else’s woman up. Also we spend so much time critiquing and criticizing this man how is he supposed to feel when in public. We as a society have turned into mental health professionals and diagnosed his behavior.
