It's also suspicious that she was found holding a small tree. It doesn't make sense that she would be able to keep her grip on that while being burned alive. Her daughter not immediately contacting authorities when she couldn't contact her mother after that disturbing text, exaggerated about the truck driver and the conflict her mother had with him and smirking in an interview as she gloated that she told the people in her life who suspected her in her mother's death would be apologising to her has me strongly suspecting that Debbie's death is not a suicide.

The Venmo message is being repeated by everyone as "they're not going to let me go" but I think it is missing key punctuation. Apparently, Amanda knew Debbie had been depressed and had encouraged Debbie to cheer up by telling her things would get better. Debbie responded. "They're not going to. Let me go. I love you... " That one period completely changes the message's meaning..

Also...who knows what was mixed in. They were never dangerous hallucinations. It was mostly confusion...talking to people not there...almost like being between a dream state and awake at the same time. Like when ur falling asleep and start to dream but ur still awake....but more intense. It is possible..but to drive that far, go shopping and execute a plan like that seems very far fetched for an opiate hallucination.

About opioid paranoia/psychosis, it's really rare for that type of delusion to happen, indeed. The type of spaced out fantasies it can cause are much more in the happy kind from what I've seen. Someone who's high on opiates feel incredible pleasure, like in an orgasmic dream, and people using it can often have little weird things like having brief pleasant conversations w/ the news anchors on tv thinking they're talking to them, or thinking their lover is w/ them on the subway, puckering up to smooch them and suddenly coming to, realizing everyone is watching them kiss the air. Never seen someone have bad delusions on opiates, or heard of it happening, within a community entrenched in that.

I just wanted to add a comment on Hydrocodone, though this is not necessarily connected to poor Debbie's mysterious and tragic death. Some years ago, I was struck by a severe case of sciatica, which lasted for 18 months. I had never used opioids or drugs before this. Due to crippling pain, I had to quit my job, and was mostly in bed. The orthopedist gave me Hydrocodone to ease the pain. Within a couple weeks on this drug, I experienced visual hallucinations, for the first time in my life. The grotesque forms, faces and imagery I saw, with my eyes closed, and even eyes open at times, was terrifying. I had to quit the med, and deal with the pain until finally, I found a type of physical therapy that gradually healed it, and with the help of God. Even on the warning paperwork with the prescription, I noticed later that it warned of hallucinations, even suicide. Maybe it is not a universal side effect, but I saw images too horrific to bear. Possibly, Debbie had an adverse reaction, but I'm only speculating what might have happened.

Desperate to quit but my brain craved it and my body SCREAMED without it. Friggin endless cycle of hell! Thankfully that is no longer an issue. Based off of watching Amanda's own words on interviews go from blaming a third party, sounding certain that someone did this to her, but conveniently switched to the suicide theory whenever the internet was suggesting that Amanda and her bf were the third party to blame, I think that this is someone manipulating the willful ignorance towards understanding mental health being prevalent in Georgia. I think "They won't let me go" was a note for her husband, as it was their joint venmo account and he would likely see the transaction were he to check why money was missing from their bank accounts.

Dr. Grande - Do you think the daughter may have drugged Debbie, used her phone to both send herself the money, and the text message? But, that leaves the question of how the daughter coaxed Debbie into the store to purchase those odd items... unless Debbie was terrified of her daughter. 👍💜🌵

Probably only time I’ve disagreed with Dr Grande. I don’t think Amanda and her husband were sophisticated enough either but they knew shady people and I think someone helped them kidnap Debbie and forced her to buy the supplies at the hardware store -specifically- so she would be seen on camera doing it, and thus could stage it better as a suicide. “They” from “they won’t let me go,” aren’t weird voices in her head or skeletons in her closet lol, she’s referring to someone her daughter must know or know of too. The closeness of the bail amount could be coincidence, but it’s another thing that points back to prison bail, prison relationships, and possible prison origins.

There are so many things that are asumed in this case, that the most logical things are left for no one to notice. Like the message Debbie sent, her injuries and that telephone call her daughter had with her aunt...almost the first thing she told her aunt was that altercation that had happened quite a while before with that truck driver. Clearly used to cause suspicion away from the obvious. If you are about to kill someone you can use their phone and pretend you are that person. The amount of the money was just enough to pay what her daughter's boyfriend needed to pay what he owed to 'person x'. And the two of them reconcile a few months !ater and you see them going at each other after Debbie passed away??? It is like the solution is staring you right in the face but proving it might not seem so easy...shame on everyone who dealt with this case. There are murderers in your backyard and gave them a free pass. In the small chance they will never do anything wrong ever again is a small one if you hear how Debbie died. That isn't someone who should run around free. That person or maybe two won't stop here. They enjoyed it a little too much. Low intelligence and being cruel, prisons are filled with them. Hope you can sleep as a baby. For now at least.

Bravo, you did a better job analyzing and describing the potential events that took place in one comment, than the police have done in nearly a year of investigation. I haven't watched the interview, but I bet the ones working this case didn't pay much attention to it either. It's so easy for them to say it's not my problem, but when the shoe is on the other foot guess who turns into a big crybaby, pathetic. On top of the already damming evidence that she did NOT commit suicide, it doesn't make sense to bring a tarp, a rain poncho, paper towels, and then kill yourself on the tarp and leave all the evidence and there, that negates the point of preparing all this stuff to make it look planned. If she was trying to frame her daughter, she would have to cut herself, smear blood all over the paper towels and clothing, fatally wound herself, then roll herself up in a tarp and roll down the hill into the ravine. THATS NUTS, it makes 0 sense to say someone that average planned to commit suicide in the stupidest, most suspicious way possible. Nobody would leave that much evidence of murder on purpose. Its clear that she was not supposed to catch fire and run through the woods leaving a mess everywhere, something went wrong during the murder and her captor or captors fled the scene in a panic. If it was truly intended to play out this way, it would be too risky to hope that the cops wouldn't suspect foul play, but these were not smart criminals. And yet the police don't even suspect murder anymore, what a JOKE. The location is a specific place as well, how did she know there was a logging road there, why would she choose such a dark place to end her life.

The daughter & boyfriend moved into a rental that her mother & stepfather owned . I believe this was a different address than Debbie’s home. I have a hard time understanding why she would drive to a dollar store after passing 2 or 3 other dollar stores on her way the turn around to go back .It was also mentioned that the daughter was as heavy as her mom & could wear her clothes, the person in the store could be the daughter with a wig on . I understand Debbie s son having a hard time believing suicide. The money sent to the daughter was the amount needed for the daughters boyfriends rehab center that was close to where Debbie died. I don’t know if he was court ordered to attend because of parole or something jail or prison related as he had been in trouble for domestic abuse on Debbie’s daughter, I don’t think a mother would pay the man who beat her daughters rehab money & thus think it’s odd the money that he needed the same day she died was taken from her account. It will be a long time until I will think of this as a suicide. I feel bad for her two children , all they have is each other & the son is looking side at his drug addicted sister and her bf as a possible reason his mom is dead. So am I still.

Good narration as always,I respect your opinion and your probably right especially bcuz police would more than likely find more evidence pointing to someones guilt. It's hard to imagine someone picking tha way to play the end game but could have a religious aspect In many ancient cultures fire was a symbol of purification partly due an old belief tha the more pain inflicted to someone in this life would increase the chances of a better afterlife.

One doesn't burn one's self or clothes to disguise ones identity when there's a car parked next to your body which is rented under your identity. I've always thought the daughter and boyfriend hatched this scheme. I'm not sure that was even Debbie walking into the store. You only see a top down view - no face views. I think Itchy and Scratchy were quite capable of doing this. Who sets themselves on fire in the middle of a forest - the most painful death one can imagine.

I do think this was a suicide or some type of strange accident. However, I think L.E is holding back a lot of evidence from the public. They publically communicated that this was likely a homicide. They owe it to the public to help us understand why this was a suicide & why they think there isn’t a murderer out there anymore. I don’t know why they haven’t updated the public since the last press conference. They’ve handled this whole situation very poorly. Amanda is the only one who cared & helped find Debbie when she was missing. It’s a shame she was attacked while grieving her mother’s death.
