It was crazy to see in person! The slow mo clips are so cool in this video, it sounds like a cannon firing. I hate to see it happen to such a rad truck but you sure put on a show! Keep doing what you do.

Your truck your channel, but I hate to see this done to an original truck with custom paint, burn out competitions like this will definitely drive up the prices for people with clean survivors. I had a hard time finding a cheap 70's truck with a rust free bed in the 90's when I bought my first F150 so I settled on an 83... but at least you find them and drive them better than rusting behind the barn.

That's nothing to be proud of. So much for your 50K original truck. Several thousands of dollars and countless hours of bodywork for 45 seconds of fun. Just FYI, all the beds are interchangeable from 1973-1996. Go to pick 'n pull and get a newer bed, then hang dentside quarters on it. (you have to get full quarters, obviously) I'm glad to hear you plan on rebuilding it. Maybe put a locker in it next time.

Me and dad restored his 77 when I was a kid. I drove it in high school and years afterward. My parents lost everything in a out of control "controlled burn" including that truck. Priceless sentimental value. Made me sick seeing that video.

That was hard to see for those of us who spend years and hard earned cash getting their F100 drivable. I always looked to this channel for inspiration and encouragement in keeping Ford trucks alive and preserving their history. In fairness , I do not believe you thought the possibility of damage could be that bad. Now that you can see what could happen , I hope it affects your decision making in the future. (perhaps reserve your burnout with big explosive tires for Chevys)

Thanks for demonstrating to everyone that in a 1 wheel peel the spinning tire is going twice what the speedo reads. Exceeded the max speed of the tire pretty quick with that new motor. Shame to see that patina truck get trashed but I'm sure all the views make it worth it financially.

That's a shame. I liked that truck. It was very recognizable. I saw it in the background of other RU-vidr's videos. The box is easy to replace. I hope the cab can be straightened out. You should repaint it the same colors and pattern because the truck is infamous.

Poor Snickers! I love original vehicles, especially ones that have original custom paint! As the saying goes, they are only original once! I have mixed emotions over this one...If it were mine (which obviously it isn't) I would be pretty upset but then again. I wouldn't have entered such a one of a kind time capsule to begin with...but that's just me.

Makes me happy to see people out doing things with these old trucks rather than cursing them to a life of museum decay because its unique. I own a fleet of dentsides myself and use them for work and play daily on the ranch. Remember, "A ship is safe in a harbor but that is not what a ship is built for."
