Based on Dom's comments about the TL team I think it'd be really interesting to if NA teams were in Korea for an entire split or season to see how long term access to quality solo practice would impact the level of play. Champ queue isn't great and we don't have a large pool or high skill players that are frequently active in solo queue. It wouldn't be too insane to try if all the players and staff would be able to make that move family wise, though that is definitely quire the hurdle.
I wonder if it's cheaper (and possible) to get better Internet to play in KR server from NA? Dropping an entire split to move the whole team + staffs is purely impossible imo.
i’m a big 100T fan and absolutely love closer. i was so happy in the off season when they kept closer and formed this roster. his personality is great and he’s a great player. wish more fans seen that!
blaber best gragas na ever had ? hmm what about that one time, when team liquid had this junger who made this insane flash e predict on top but still missed q cant quite catch his name
Generally, you have to exercise reasonable effort to retreat before using deadly force for it to qualify as self defense. The castle doctrine that LS talks about basically states if there is an intruder in your home you don’t have to attempt to retreat before shooting someone for it to be self defense. California also follows this doctrine interestingly enough
Yea. In principle it's not a justification to just shoot trespassers because under the law, you still need to be threatened / feel threatened (whatever Texas's standard is for self defense) to shoot them. You need to be able to claim self defense. Without being threatened / feeling threatened, there is no self defense claim. However, I bet it's often used to shoot trespassers without a genuine threat to make it self defense because fucking Texas.
I don't see the lack of Closer hype. I hated the old 100T in large part to Closer fan boys talking endlessly. Really nice to see him still doing good and being a great team player without everyone going nutso.
I don’t understand the argument that TL “have to bring in another Korean.” Both rookies are from NA, core speaks English fluently, and summit should be able to adapt well enough. Bring Bwipo back in to jungle and replace the coaching staff. Costs should be pretty lateral, and english would be a smooth transition.
@@kyin45 he's trying to be cost efficient, they already have bwipo on payroll they wouldn't need to buy someone and could just get rid of pyosik because he'd probably costing them a lot.
The term you wanted, fellow @uti$t, is "star power" Closer is not giga popular because he's not an import, he was never on tsm, he's a jungler which is a role no one understands except junglers, and Doublelift/Bjerg are two of the biggest names in LCS history. DL being mediocre and now having good games is a straightforward, exciting narrative. So that's what dominates.
I'm at a point where I believe Dgon doesn't give a shit about how LS actually does but he knows he gets some good content out of it so he keeps asking.
apollo got done dirty in the LCS he was a upper teir ADC like most of his career most of the time brought in as a replacement for the adc on the last place team making the team look better he was almost never given a legit roster to play with often just like dumpster fires they wanted him to fix, like never inted and carried some games his dps for gold taken in games was like S tier and he just like disappeared and i assume its not because he wanted to stop.
@@Darkstormsun9865 when i say upper tier i dont mean like top 3 but in the top half of the league. he was almost never from memory a bottom 5 adc while also being on the worst teams. and its hard to look human when your team is falling apart.
@VARIETY CONTENT ENTERTAINMENT i feel like he would have taken it then no? the only team that maybe had a shot was team impulse and i remember other people on that team mental booming hard AF and he was never on a good team again. just again often on the challenger team brought in when the team starts dying and he helps a bit but not enough (hakuho was often with him for these changes)
@@jonathanknypstra2137 he did… later he also flashed from fog and missed. Don’t get me wrong the prediction charm was wild but damn, it was like 7 missed charms. But also Dom could be rubbing off on me and turning me into a pro-hater 🤷🏽♂️
100T fans care about Closer I think its just everyone else that doesn't pay attention to him. He also seems like more of a big game player. He gets pretty quiet mid split then when games are important he turns it on and looks like a monster.
This may be wildly inaccurate, but the obvious disrespect shown to the sponsors may be why they are pulling out en mass 😅 the tech sphere collapsing is largely it, but I wouldn’t continue my sponsorship is if I was “that betting thing”
If you take the most charitable interpretation, you can say he just forgot what the segment is called ("Facecheck All In") as opposed to the sponsor. But yeah probably not the best thing to hear as a sponsor 😂
I love how LS is just randomly shuffling MtG cards while talking at around the 40 minute mark. Just a random habit or was he going to play a game after the podcast?
Links might be blocked so if the link i sent doesnt show up you can go to dom's twitch channel, go to videos, filter by clips, and then its the top clip in the past 7 days its called "eu coach"
For as bad as TL was last year, they got 3rd / 4th. Could you not run back Bwipo Bjerg CoreJJ, bring up Yeon if you wanted, and replace your jungler? Unless there was something fundamentally wrong with Bjerg and the rest that forced him out. Bwipo committed to TL from Europe so I would still give him a chance unless they found him a team else where and not suck in content jail. Its just sad to have "top" teams make dumb roster decisions. You want as many good teams as possible, especially when they already have the talent on the roster. (Jensen, Bwipo, Santorin, etc.) and they just recycle it.
After seeing Bjergsen today nah he's awful. TL should just grab Jensen back if possible. Bwipo didn't commit to TL. He doesn't like EU environment in general for how they treat players.
@@Gurpreet-sv5zg Either way, Bwipo moved his life to NA, not the easiest thing to do, and now just stuck on the bench. Didn't seem they gave him enough time to explore other options. For Bjerg, I know this series wasn't pretty at all, I just meant for TL to keep players they commit to, especially if their roster ends up being TLCK for no reason.
@@Avvura Bwipo has refused LEC teams lol. Why are you making it sound like he can't find any team in the LEC? He literally said he doesn't want to play in the LEC at all. Bwipo hates how LEC teams conduct themselves. Can't blame them.
@@Gurpreet-sv5zg Because one of his stream clips he talked about what happened and why he was unable to find a team, he didn't mention not wanting to go LEC, he just wanted a top roster and they were already filled by then.
@@Avvura "“I reached out to all ten LCS teams, but they did not want me. Even though I had a great offer from Team Vitality, it came too early in the off-season for me to be comfortable making a decision. Because I moved my whole life here, I expected to stay on Team Liquid, which was supposedly going to be the case going to this off-season too but when push came to shove they decided to go into a different direction, which is okay. It is just I wasn’t ready yet. Without having the possibility to explore LCS offers, to take an EU offer, which really sucks.” said Bwipo, during his stream." The guy chose to reach to all 10 LCS teams. It's def not the "missed a good offer" from an LEC team top team.
Sorry people are giving you and your girl shit. You may want to consider visiting Katy/fulshear TX. They are wealthy suburbs on the outskirts of Houston with a big Asian population.
They only shit on 100T because they are an NA team along with them having Doublelift and Bjerg… it’s disgusting how much they shit on them when they would let everyone else pass while doing the same shit
I'd argue that having those two big name legacy players is exactly why they should shit on them. They are playing lazy comps in a weak region. If they get to world's I wouldn't be surprised to see them get clapped even by LEC teams Any team with famous players is going to get criticised more than others that's just what always happens.
@@TheMiguelQ27 ya we all know that, but that has nothing to do with how they undervalue them this season. Now yes I will admit they played very poor but Doublelift has been a strong point that entire time and they continued the storyline that he was old and washed. Bjerg isnt underperforming as they make him out to do be, he just has historically played that way. Busio and Tenacity were the weak spots if I’m being honest and it seems like Busio is getting better at making the right plays and his stellar playmaking is starting to show on champs like Rakan and Tenacity although he was very coinflippy on Carry champs had bright spots and is looking solid on tanks which I do get why they try to use that as a knock on his ability. Shit I say the more he plays like Ssumday the better because he is younger and I think if he can have that Ssumday caliber flanks and team fighting in his bag he will be a monster
@@boredindividual naw ur speaking on old 100T, literally everyone is drafting this way across ALL REGIONS. And their playstyle actually works not a single team will play perfect and can play perfect besides maybe T1 and some other Korea teams. This is a terrible argument considering how strong their teamfights are. Imagine your knock to a team is ah “They have a set defined playstyle that fits them really well” Knowing how you want to play the game as a team is arguably the best thing a team can do. And Double said it in his interview they are branching out of the style after this split to have more success internet and are doing this so they can make playoffs. The team has done REALLY well on picking up different champs. Bjerg’s Lissadra has gotten a lot better and Annie is good, Tenacity isn’t even playing his style of champions and is dominating fairly well, Busio is on Melee supports opposed to the rangers supports earlier, and well Doublelift can play every rangers adc out there.
They shit on them because it’s exactly like 2020 TSM. They will win NA and go 0-6 at worlds. At this point who cares about winning NA, we want NA teams to do more than this boring shit.
It true Closer has been performing, but he was running it earlier in the split. I think Busio has been the most consistent player on 100t and has instantly won most team fights with his engages, but doesn't get any praise similar to closer. Going into playoffs I think Closer will the target of bans instead of DL due to his success in the jg and small champ pool. looking forward to the games and hoping bjergsen can level up like DL this last two weeks.
Dom might give the worst league analysis on RU-vid. 100T wins 2/7 games with Xayah Rakan (one per week) and the first thing he attributes their 3rd place finish to is that duo. LOL.
That’s just a complete lie. They played xayah Rakan 4 times in total and the only time they lost was first time they played flyquest. You know Google exists right.
@@TheLorlol u know this was in reference to their winstreak right... like ya know the one that they are referencing in the video? and ur also making my point -> that just xayah rakan alone had nothing to do with their win streak.
@@mithrilblue But he simply never made the claim that xayah/rakan was the sole contributing factor. Dom attributed the success they had to the changes they made to their drafts. Picking simple mid with setup to enable closer on a play making champion, having tenacity playing tanks that and bot laners that will be useful in fights. He just thinks that xayah/rakan fits the style of thier draft the best. Dom also critised the drafts teams made against 100T in the last week in which they targeted Doublelift's champs instead of Closer's. I really think you need to rewatch the video again.
@@MagiRemmie yeah viego disabled for playoffs so free closer ban hit lee sin as well and maybe sion because even if you like 0-5 him he still just becomes immortal. and third first rotation ban you cna hit something else closer can carry on i guess?
Interesting to see the Reddit lefties here spouting their hate boner for anyone who criticises DL and Bjerg. Let's remember that any other time that bjergs playing style has been criticised has been found ...100% correct. Remember TSM winning NA and going 0/6 at worlds. Yeah that's the shit they are referring too...they may troll their win for NA and in part so they should since the other teams aren't good enough to beat them but then on the world stage they are a laughing stock and this is what theh don't want.
Tsm won NA on 2020 by diving weak side top laners on couldown because every fucking top outside BB was weak side if anything tsm 2020 won NA by exploting the curret 100t playstyle
@@lucasalarcon3230 nope. They won by literally doing nothing and playing ultra defensive and cheese picks such as bjergsen zilean mid. It's why when they played it against BDD and GenG they got destroyed and were the laughing stock of the world whilst NA number 2 team at the time did better than TSM
@@jaekenzo64 NA2 was flyquest the most from to back standar team in NA in the last 3 years they couldn't win a Game with bj in azir that season because tsm sucked at from to back that how they go 3-0 by ggs in the Upper bracket
