I don’t understand how they would have put CTE in OJ’s defence, I mean the whole defence was based around him not being in the city at the time of the murders so putting in the CTE defence would have incriminated OJ
I always found it crazy how he was found not guilty but if he didn’t do it why didn’t they look for the killers of 2 young people who got murdered for no reason in a very high price neighborhood.weird cause if he didn’t do it then why not look for the person who did..so because he’s found not guilty we just gonna give up and leave a killer out there lol..this whole situation was fucking crazy
OJ made many people millionaires since that trial. It doesn’t benefit the media and others if law enforcement looked for the real killers, if there are real killers.
Cause they knew it was him but couldnt find him guilty his defence was to strong johny chocraine was a gun lawywer so there was no point looking for another killer cause there wasnt one and in criminal court you cant be tried for the same case twice he was tried after the not guilty verdict in the criminal court in the civil court and was found guilty of the same offences and had to pay out out a bit of money that he still hasnt payed
zeb doz yes I read it but that’s not what I’m saying..I know he did it but if he was found not guilty then that means there’s still a killer out there and they never looked lol..that goes to show you how fucked up shit is cause of money and power
DublinGreen nope CTE is caused by build up of tau proteins that get knocked off the neurons by REPEATED blows to the head. One blow to the head won’t build up enough tau to kill brain cells.
@@seztogaming4186 also your brain does release enzymes that break down Tau protein, they discovered that CTE is partially genetic because some people naturally release more of this enzyme than others.
I was at the WWE event the night Benoit was supposed to perform. He was missing. Next day the news broke that he had died. No one expected to hear he killed himself and his family.
I’m not a lawyer, but surely stating your client has CTE is what you would bring during sentencing? rather than the trial? Otherwise it’s like admitting he did it, but couldn’t control himself.
That’s what I’ve been saying CTE is thrown around way too much when talking about brain damage, truth be told everyone that partakes in contact sports will have some degree of brain damage however for most people it’s not debilitating ( I mean hell think about how many people used to do contact sports back in the day and how many actually showed symptoms of CTE, a net minority )
CTE and CJD, which was discussed in another segment, have pretty similar pathologies. The dementia which results from CTE is also caused by misfolded protein aggregates in the brain. Alzheimer’s too
Clearly he has it the era he played in was rough, n I'd imagine it was a big reason behind the murders. Violent outbursts are in every story you read about cte
@@williamphillips2671 hits nowadays aren't even comparable to 5 years ago. Let alone 40 years, yes it is still rough. But nowhere near as violent as it was. Sure you'll see a random ko hit now n again but not like it used to be. N they didn't even know about CTE n its connection with football in the 90s
I've had a concussion from a car accident and it was the weirdest feeling. It was like after you had been tripping and the plateau was done but you still feel a little goofy and aloof
Is it so crazy to believe our heroes are villains and are villains are heroes? It's not. You don't know either. Oj is fuckin guilty, but we will never know.
12 people associated/employed with the mezzaluna were found murderd /never to be seen again . So 1 guy (with such bad arthritis in the knees he had cortisone injections) killed 2 people (who had self defense training)with a knife , without a scream or a yell? With knife marks on the male victims shoes? Anticoagulant was found in the blood (setup)? Oj's hands are huge , they don't fit the gloves (plant) ,and who has access to anticoagulant?
If you think about the core of this argument it's kind of week, because everyone that commits a crime can justifiably blame it on their brain structure, CTE just creates a different brain structure.
@the hiring bank, yea its been well documented that damage specifically to the amygdala can cause altered emotional response like rage and violence. Look into it a little more there smarty pants.
I have no doubt he has cte. So many of the symptoms. He had both knees replaced bad arthritis, trouble walking. People understand that but for whatever reason people ignore the fact that brain injuries effect people. It's common sense. It will alter a person. It shouldn't be ignored and paid as much attention if not more than a bad knee.
They should just bring back the Gladiator sports, where the people can live as gladiators and destroy eachother for our entertainment. Can you imagine the battles that would ensue?
I don't think OJ did the killing...I really believe it was his son from his first marriage named Jason. There is a really good documentary about it. A private detective went on a research about it and so much adds up and makes sense
@@DezTheQween I think a lot of what happened with OJ after the killings happened was a calculated attempt to keep the heat from his son honestly. The book OJ wrote was for money to capitalize on it. I highly suggest anyone to look up the documentary and give it a watch. I never really knew anything about his son Jason, as far as his possible involvement with the whole situation. It is very interesting when the facts get lined up the way they do
You wish. His shoeprints were found at the crime scene. And settled in a wrongful death suit. He didn’t get convicted because they didn’t want to start another race war
Any combat sport fans here have opinions on ONE? I've gotten so sick of the high school drama stories in the UFC and started watching Bellator, Glory, and ONE instead. I was already watching Bellator and Glory, but somehow I had never heard of ONE until a couple months ago. Been watching UFC since UFC 1.
Personally I have no problem with the "high school drama stories" of the UFC, but I love ONE and Bellator. Great time to be a MMA fan. So many options.
When you get hit and that electric shock comes, it's your nerves on the neck going to protecting mode and shuts your body off. It's actually better to get ko'd than tko'd.
The athletes with the most serious cte is BMX riders. Matt Hoffman claims to have had over 100 concussions. Dave Mirra taking his head off with a shotgun inside his pickup comes to mind.
Man, I been knocked out in a couple car wrecks, been knocked out 4 times fighting , once in a construction fall ( ironworker) I’m 54 now.. I do forget words a lot on certain days.. other things.. who knows..I smoke a lot of weed too. I never killed nobody /- ✌️
@@williamphillips2671 Well, the first instance of CTE in a football player was found in 2005. Way after OJ's playing days. Many cases may have been missed. Including OJ.
OJ 25 is a good one. its many episodes long. why OJ won and why OJ lost are good ones. the 2016 if I did it tape is a good one. the Netflix show is awesome. watch interviews from Clark Darden and Kaeto Jenkins.
Cte? Yeh its possible but no excuse for him murdering two people no sympathy for oj simpson who had a big ego, fame money, cheated on his wife with other woman during the marriage, when she finally broke free of him to have her own life and date ,maybe, he went nuts if i can not have you no one will.
İ hate watching a video where they are using an abbreviation but its not clear what theyre talking about , but apparently abbreviating it makes them super smart.
Why not stop the sports that causes it? Or chenge the rules so it doesnt happen. Ifts a challenge to do it, then rise to it. Take the fight and solve the problem. But thats not going to happen ofcourse. Its to much sweet money involved.
Just ignore the book he wrote about it called “if I did it” and then look at how his daughter was afraid of him after and even knows he did it. You’re kind of stupid to ignore all the proof and instead believe a theory that’s bullshit
@@williamphillips2671 Everything starts as a conspiracy man, its just interesting is all I am saying. it claims he did all that shit and wrote the book to get eyes off of his son and on him.
His son Jason was “Charlie” in the book “if I did it”- a PI came out a couple years ago and said he saw Jason and OJ were in back of Nicole’s house on the night of the murders.. with Jason in the Drivers seat of the white bronco.
I'm going to throw a turd in the Punchbowl it wasn't OJ it was his son Jason, makes more sense than what OJ was accused of, they only named one suspect they ignored any other possibility that somebody else could have done it, there's a good doc out there by a very reputable investigator, Ron Goldman fought to the death OJ would have been f***** up yet he only had one cut on one hand, DNA didn't match after a crime like that there will be WWWWAAAAYYYY more blood in his truck.. there's more evidence that promotes that his son did it than OJ did since he got off I'm almost convinced that OJ didn't do it, yet he knows who done it but he didn't do it
I don’t think OJ has cte I just think he was crazy he never had any symptoms remember most players are fine. Also my uncle did the exact same thing and was very jealous and he never played football
Most players are not fine there is a high suicide rate with sports player who suffer from concussion as well as notable players who have killed someone because of those concussions
If people are willing to fight to the death, that should be an acceptable risk. Capitalist democracy, with ambulances and doctors should allow this. If idiots want to be risky, and the people who have to clean up the mess are paid a living wage, that's part of freedom. I don't like when idiots yell stupid things at demonstrations, but free speech is the point, so I have to deal with it. If I were a prize fighter, risk of death would be assumed. "Should" another example that the word just means "this ain't how it is."
I very much appreciate the conditioning/drive of UFC guys but ya, when it (invariably) gets reduced to bloody ground n pounds it's just... Seeing footage of Askren KOed severely and the whole place is just going nuts...it's 1 step from Roman coliseum. FOH with "the sport of it". My slogan is I hate people, not hit em.
