The second temple Jews (which NT writers were part of that group) didn’t believe demons were fallen angels but rather the bastard spirits of the dead Nephilim, the hybrid beings in Genesis 6.1-4.

I’m a little late to this discussion, however, I have some commentary that must be understood herein. Nowhere in scripture does it say that a third of the stars or angels fell. This is a common but unfortunate and sad misunderstanding of Koine Greek, of Byzantine era culture and even of Elizabethan English. Nowhere in scripture does it mention a number of stars or angels who rebelled or fell. This is not numerical. This is categorical. It specifically states that a third PART of the stars or angels fell. A category. Precisely, one of the distinct PARTS of the whole. In other words there were three distinct categories of the whole. “The whole” referring to all of the stars or angels of heaven. If one reads all of scripture, the apocrypha and ancient historical texts not canonized, the full picture becomes clear. There were three distinct PARTS of the angels during pre-earthly existence. One PART readily accepted God’s plan and supported God exclusively and fought alongside Michael the Archangel. (These are the wheat spoken of by Jesus in parable.) One PART openly rebelled against God and fought alongside Lucifer the rebellious Lightbringer. (These are the enemy spoken of by Jesus in parable.) One PART were more clandestine in that they openly pledged allegiance to God, but secretly were in league with Lucifer by pact as the very first recorded conspiracy. They did this under the direction of Lucifer in order to come to Earth and gain a physical body. As omniscient, God knew of Lucifer’s plan of conspiracy, yet honoring the eternal principle of agency allowed this deception. (These stars are the tares spoken of by Jesus in parable.) The tares grow up alongside the wheat only to be hewn down and thrown into the fire at harvest time. This is not about numbers. We do not know how many stars are in each category. All we really know is that there are three distinct categories or PARTS of the stars.

What horrifies me is that a huge chunk of the angelic population has experienced the full glory of God, and yet were somehow convinced to rebel and follow Lucifer, despite Lucifer being quite obviously inferior to God in every conceivable way.

Were one-third of the angels original thinkers like the Morningstar or, were they doing what angels do, follow.

Context matters here in Revelation. Got Questions knows better. A text without context is a pretext to say whatever you want. In Revelation 12, this event of a falling was not primordial or prior to human inhabitants filling the earth. This falling was a consequence of Jesus being caught up and ascended to the thone in heaven. The result Him taking place of authority as defeating death and darkness in the already but not yet, inaugurated kingdom on earth, Satan (an elohim) and "possibly" these other elohims (spirit beings) lost major territory in the "heavens" aka the unseen realm.

This is unclear, was it that a third of the angels followed Satan and another third fell to earth by the tail of the dragon? That's one third loyal to Satan and another third wandering the earth after they fell? That leaves god with one third

The fallen angels where they followed satan to his Damnation is whereby signifies the rebellion of satan into Hell

My question is when God said it is very good, to me references only what God created on earth . Because ever this else in heaven was already created.
