I think the older one is a stronger influence on the younger one than the mom. The kid looked really uncomfortable to call her mom a liar, but would rather keep on her sister good side than rat her out. Their futures don't look bright.
I agree. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. If I were their mother, I would disown them for that -- throw their own mother under the bus on national TV. Those two are disgusting!
@@xoangelicaf0523 Nope, I don’t go for that. My single mother would never have put up with any of that. Parents need to PARENT their kids. It’s nobody else’s responsibility.
Unfortunately, mothers reap what they sow. I am not saying she was a bad mother but we can all see today that she failed them when it comes to teaching them values when they were kids. We learn to respect our mothers/parents and other people when we are growing up. Even JJ blamed the mother. Because that’s a mother’s job. She can’t control them now but that’s why we should raise respectful individuals because they WILL grow up.
I felt less and less sorry for the mother as this case went on, she did absolutely nothing to teach her daughters right from wrong and blames 'the streets' and anyone they associate with outside the home 🙄
I love the tone of the interpreter. She’s not just translating, she is actually giving proper tone to the sentences. (I’m bilingual and often translate for family and friends.)
They didnt WANT to call her liar. Bertha try to say her mom is mistaken or confused. The judge FORCED her to call her a liar. She only had two options or her defense would be thrown out.
@@TimeisUp22p absolutely not.. she said she wasn't there.. her mother said they both were there.. what's there to force on lying? Only one of them is saying truth clearly
@@xoangelicaf0523 I actually don't. The lack of emotion from her kids calling her a liar on national tv... Seems like she's been checked out of parenting for a while. But I don't know them personally, so that's just my opinion.
This is why she has a reputation for getting angry. She only does it when a litigant needs a wake-up call. I wish non-viewers realized that instead of claiming she's always mean to people (unnecessarily).
Lol! I know! I love when she tries to jump in cause their story is being torn apart and judge judy mockingly reminds her you can't say anything cause you "weren't there".
A woman in her mid-twenties not only getting involved in high school drama but beating and kicking a 15 year old child while egging her 15 year old sister on. And she’s a mother. A real court would order parenting classes, put her on no unsupervised contact with her own children for the duration of probation and tell her she can’t get a job working with minors.
I don’t want to make assumptions but it’s possible mom had a hard life in her home country, came to the states to try to make a better life for her kids and was unprepared for the challenges of raising kids while working in the US
I feel sad for the defendants' mom. Obviously something went wrong with them, and she seems to feel legitimately embarrassed. And Bertha's poor kids...
Who stands in court and calls their own mother a liar though? I know some kids have been abused by their parents but these 2 are just nasty and entitled and why is a 23 year old fighting a 15 year old? I hope she grew up and takes care of her children properly, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if she is still out there behaving like a dumb teenager.
@@lookingtowardsthesunshe reminds of the girls who joined gangs in the 90s… low self esteem and evil and found someone in a gang that gave them attention, so they join the gang. She’s a loser in my eyes, not a boss.
A perfect marriage or relationship is an illusion; there's no universal playbook for making them work. What's effective for one couple may not apply to another. Nevertheless, I've come to understand that there's always a solution to be found. Half a decade ago, my wife and I faced such trials in our marriage that divorce seemed inevitable. Yet, through perseverance and determination, we navigated through the rough waters and emerged stronger, reunited, and more resilient
There is a lot of sense in what you just said and I hope mine works the same way too, we are currently separated but I cant live without her, I love her so much. wish I can get her back I can do anything to have her back, we have tried therapy amongst other things
Its always difficult to let someone you love go, but in my case I had the help of a spiritual adviser who saved my marriage from collapsing her name is shelly renee white..
Hmm, I slightly disagree. Yes every relationship is unique. And yet honesty, service, loyalty, forgiveness and kindness, accountability work for every situation and can solve any problem.
Anybody grew up as a teen in the 2000s and had adults who warned us from wearing big hooped earrings? I’m looking at Rubi’s large hoop earrings and keep thinking: nobody would’ve let me leave the house in them! 😂
@@rebeccadee4107 they associate them with "wild ness" or just a chance that someone might be cruel enough to try and yank them in general, especially if you're fighting
@@rebeccadee4107girls used to wear it to symbolize their “promiscuity”, I think it started in the 80s… I remember always hearing “the bigger the hoop the bigger the ho”
The poor mum looks broken. Utter disrespect for her from them. They have obviously been running riot for a long time. Sometimes you have to admit to yourself, that enough is enough. She should wash her hands of them both & give them a wake up call. Doubt it will have any effect though. Prison is calling.
@@nora4981 So has an official position to destroy kids and continue the bullying. Very very rare these kinds of extreme narcissistic behaviors change. Sad
@@Wayniesgirllol what would I gain if this was “baloney”? 😂 are you ok? I clearly said “I think” … I found them online and assumed it was these two, wanted to share the news that maybe they turned their lives around for the better. Why are you triggered?
Oh my, if I ever called my mother a liar, let alone on national TV... I be 💀. Cops would show up and my mom would be like Mom: His body is burried over there.
my goodness if i had called my mother a liar she would have killed me with her sandals right there in that court room, they have 0 respect for her smh, wonder where they are now
The sister is so adamant she wasn't there because she knows she's AN ADULT and could face serious charges. If she was under 18, I guarantee she would admit to everything with an attitude to boot.
I couldn't do that to my Mom...wow INSANE. You can see the hurt in her eyes and JJ judged her harshly. Her mother lost her kids to the streets. She shouldn't call her a bad mom
Defendant with the straight hair: "Well, that happened to me before when I got in a fight* when I put the phone in my pocket." *admitting to yet ANOTHER fight. Who is this girl? Rocky Balboa? 😂
Scrolled down to see if anyone was seeing that too. The lady with the blond hair over the defendant's right shoulder -- her face when they start calling their mom a liar is classic.
JJ doing more parenting in a few minutes than the mom has probably done in the last year. Then to see the mom sitting there all 'meh' after her daughters flat out call her a liar, like it doesn't even phase her.
You can tell she is SICK of her oldest. When she said, "Mom, what are you talking about?" her mom didn't even want to look at her. Smh. And then the youngest going along with her is just sad. You can tell who influences her more. Smh. The ladies behind the defendants have me rolling because that was me the whole time! 😂 Especially when JJ threw her pen down because she was annoyed!
When judge Judy said the streets is a better teacher than you was that let you know from that mother's personality and how nice she is you can tell the mother did not teach them nothing they had to have ran over her like a freight train😢
