The idea of burning forever in the Lake of Fire 🔥 is truly unbelievable and horrific too. It scared my little 8 year old self years ago when I started into Christianity. They told us in that little Baptist church, to go door to door, and tell the people that if they don't accept Jesus as the Christ, you would die, go to hell, and burn forever! I was "shaking in my boots"! I think it was because I felt that God would judge me for doing that! I didn't know at that time that my father's family heritage is Jewish. And my mother is from the "lost tribes" probably the Hebrew tribe of Dan. It is blasphemous to add this kind of rubbish to the Holy Scriptures in the form of "the New Testament". Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my testimony. May Ha Shem richly bless Rabbi Federow and Wil'liam and all who watch these videos from Tenak Talk. Baruch Ha Shem! ❤

My "come to Jesus" (wink wink) moment about hell happened when I was in Israel in 2008 standing at the gates of hell at the Grotto of Pan staring into a large empty cave and I knew I'd been had.

Where is the gates of Pan? Pan was a Greek God of frivolity and folly. I get the large empty cave concept, that is the Sumerian concept of he'll. My "come to the savior" invitation to "Christianity" started when I was seven years old, a little person growing up in the Midwest Bible belt.

Without a physical body there are no nerve endings thus no pain so..... Even saying "you will burn in a lake of fire" makes me think of ISIS burning people to death in a cage. My G-D, HaShem, IS NOT A TERRORIST!!!!

Thank GOD FOR HEARING YOU MAKE THE FACTUAL STATEMENT THAT CHRISTIANITY BEGAN IN AND CAME OUT OF ROME. Paul took CHRISTIANITY to Rome and it was accepted by the Romans as another religion to be embraced and adopted into their many practiced religions of the time. The Greco Roman Empire was by now incorporated in ROME by Constantine the great young warrior and leader of one of the world's leading Armies of the period. His Mother HELLINA got him to establish the Pauline Christian Religious movement within the Greco Roman Empire, As the Christian church of ROME and its world wide Empire of the period. Out of the Church of ROME the Protestant Church was conceived and born under the influence and leadership of Martin Luther the then Roman Bishop of the Roman Church Districts in one of the Territories of the Roman Empire. Paul, as we all know, was a self-professed liar so we're not going to believe anything he says. It's doubtful he was Jewish so that's a load off. Luther was inspired by Paul to write his book "On the Jews and Their Lies" as he quotes Paul frequently in this nasty little publication that inspired the Holocaust. If you look through the pictures of the Nuremberg Trials, there is one where this book is displayed as a piece of evidence against the Nazis. Now that I said this, I just want to ask Christians, do you still like Paul?

I find it interesting that these programs have been raised in mormonisum. I actually learn a lot about christianity. The idea of an ever lasting is not odd. I was raised been told there is no he'll, and all are judged on their merits only those who are truly evil with be anahlated in the out darkness but that's for been in a state of pure evil. The purpose of life is to bring forth the inmorlatlity and the resurrection. So basic christianity always seemed strange. The best thing is just to go back to basics. I think and just read the Tanakh

A majority of Christian Churches Believe in eternal punishment. I myself think it's mistranslation. Pastors just repeat it enough for people to believe.

When I did radio at the college, we had a saying on air. This program may contain language or material that may be considered offensive. I really like your message about hell doctrine. However, I don't think all rabbis say the same things as you do. I also watch Rabbi Tovia Singer. He's really good, smart and very knowledgeable of both the Old and New Testament. There's something he says that seems to differ from your message and I find it troubling. He insist that the worship of Jesus is idolatry and that a person who practices it will get approximately the same punishment as the Christian eternal hell. He keeps saying it's not a "threat". Then what is it? How can any expression that you'll spend eternity in hell, fire, darkness, separation from God or however you frame it; how can that 𝗻𝗼𝘁 be a threat? Furthermore, it creates quite a conundrum for people. It asks Christians to do the very thing they've been told all their life will send them to eternal hell -- reject Jesus -- at the threat of going to hell if they don't. (I know Singer doesn't like the word "threat", but what else is it?). It means that 2.2 billion Christians and, the worldwide Jewish population are gambling on the deity of Jesus and the side that loses goes to hell. It means that being born into this world is like playing Russian Roulette. I understand the need to hold people accountable for their actions in this life, and that some form of justice must be done. But why is every religion so hell happy?

There IS hell, no doubt. However whether it is eternal, I'm not sure. Probably not. But there definitely is hell. That's why you need to fear God, because if God's anger rages against you, - that's a hell, my friend. Only stupid people deny the fear of God. Actually, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

@Pharisaism-is-evil you gave your brain to the words of man, i gave mine to the word of God. we had read the NT and couldn't find any thus say the lord God nor words of his prophets. all we can find was..LETTERS, WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENTS, TESTIMONIES OF LIES. so they attached all these to the Jewish Bible just to sell the lies does not mean everybody will buy it. God still have so many people that keeps and do his laws, statues and commandments... word for word as he commanded. you Christians introduced a man to be god,. introduction of blood sacrifice as the ultimate way to wipe away sins instead of repentance. introduction of first and second coming. introduction that man can forgive sins. introduction hell fire., introduction of Trinity,. all these introductions was no where to be found in the Jewish Bible. all the words,...the commandments that God almighty gave to mankind was totally rejected. then place Jesus above all that without law of him, rather they said just believe.😂 how can that work？ so you ask yourself where did all these lies came from？ this is the religion you found yourself in.. and think that i was wrong？ i can categorically tell you that you don't know God almighty, bcoz you don't know his words and covenants,... you only know a dead god Jesus and claims he's coming back. people perish for lack of understanding.

Oh the hoops I have heard people jump through over this topic. Usually it's passed off as metaphor. Probably the most interesting interpretation I've heard uses Revelations, and the claim is that the "second death," is death of the spirit and the lake of fire, is a metaphor for a spiritual incinerator. There's some obvious issues with that, but the point being if there's a hoop to be jumped through, they'll line right up.

It goes through a purgatory stage of being purified of evil. It then gets judged again after 12 months. If needed it gets another 12 months.ff its still not purified God snuffs it out. Kindest thing. There is no eternal punishment.or torture The idea was stolen from the Greek Tartarus. The word Hel comes from the Norse realm of Hela . Helheim. A quiet place of rest . Personally I believe very evil souls exist on a very low level of the spirit world in a kind of prison. They don't get off scot free just for being Christian . Eg Hitler.

Anybody who knew their Josephus would have been aware that the Pharisees believed in a place of eternal punishment. There is no suggestion in the gospels of Jesus having any need to explain himself when he referred to such a place. “Lake of fire” is an obvious metaphor for a far from pleasant experience.

God almighty had already made every judgement fixed right into he's words,. eg: honor thy parents.., the judgement was that your days will be long. and the rest goes on. but people are busy waiting for judgement after life. this is nowhere in the word of God. this claims came in Christian new testament Bible by the apostles of jesus😂. they also invented hellfire. this is what they do in order to force you to jesus .

To deny Yehoshua Christ is to deny Torah, specifically the books of Genesis and Deuteronomy. The undeniable truth of the original belief of Jews of two Yahwehs (Blessed be His name) must be openly discussed. We need to have an honest intellectual discussion on the matter - "Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the LORD out of heaven." - Gen 19:24. It is clearly in Torah! God can be anywhere and do anything, but he cannot take on flesh?! Who was Abraham calling Lord and bowing down to in worship? Who was Abraham calling the Judge of the all the earth? Who are these 3 "Men" that Abraham fed? I don't understand how everyone doesn't see that "God is not a man that He should lie" is a clear figurative jab at us, because we are liars; it isn't an admission by Him that there is indeed something He cannot do, and that is take on flesh if He so chooses. The admission there by God is that he cannot lie, that's it, nothing more... I pray for Israel and all Jews.

💐🙏🏻💐🙏🏻 Baha’i Faith believes that heaven and hell are states and conditions and not literal geographic areas. Both terms have been depicted in all world religions allegorically, using different modes and different imageries. The state and condition of being closer to God would be heaven and the further away one is from God would be considered a condition of hell. In the school of God, there are different grades and within each grade there are different teachers teaching, just as 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, all the way to PhD programs and beyond, each has its own curriculum. No two different grade teachers teach the same thing and run the same curriculum. These differences are not divisions, but necessary which build on each other by developing different capacities. God is the ultimate ruler of his divine school and within this school, there have been many grades with many different teachers sent by God. To each He assigned a particular program and pedagogy. In His infinite wisdom he regulates all things. To deny what Christ taught is to deny the very God that had sent Moses to educate people of his age and vice versa. In each age, like in a school, God also tests and examines the people to see if they have blindly been following or whether they have grasped the spiritual truths for that particular grade before sending them to higher grades of spiritual understanding. The divine curriculums of God are not like Sunday newspapers that you can just read them by understandings the dictionary meaning of the words. Far from this! Each words that emanates from that infinite God of wisdom and insight possesses infinite number of insights and meanings. The students (people) of this divine school (this world) must immerse themselves in that ocean of meanings, insights, and wisdoms contained in each word and grow spiritually from such deep studies. One can know the entire Tanakh by heart and yet not know a thing about the inner meanings and spiritual wisdoms contained in that book. So heaven and hell have been explained very differently in Judaism as suppose to Christianity. This is not a contradiction but a necessary way to educate children of God according to their capacities and the exigencies of their particular dispensations. Noah was not sent to teach what Moses was sent to teach; Abraham was not sent to teach what God had commissioned Noah and Moses to teach. Each one was entrusted with a different mission to educate people of their ages. This is called unity in diversity and not division. Any objection towards any of these manifestations as well as others is an objection to God’s wisdom and insight and therefore rejecting God Himself.

This is satan spoken of in Ezekiel and his punishment. If you all would just let the bible speak to you, you would see yhat Ezekiel uses his writings to present the four types of satan . PHAROE , King of Babylon, The Assyrian and the King / Prince of Tyre . These are the four horns that scattered Israel, Judah and Jerusalem. Ezekiel 1 18¶Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. 19And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.

Have you not read psalms 90:10 the spirit and our body is cut off (separated) the spirit flies away this is adams choice that affects us all. The spirit will have a spiritual body will be taken to God and afate will be decided where the person will be placed according to how he treated the word of God. Ecclesiastes 12:1-5 the spirit/soul is taken to a timeless eternal home either locked up on the suffering side or the place where the spirit is comforted (Paradise/hades or sheol) awaiting judgement day after the messiah comes again The soul/spirit has full senses just like our earthly body. However it is true that hades/sheol is mistranslated as hell in the new testament.

Hell is real, afterlife is the ultimate justice, suppose a person kills 10 people, in this life he can only be killed one time and that’s the end of it, but what about the 9 other people he killed, what about Hitler who killed million innocent people, is that justice? God is the ultimate justice,the crime Hitler did against those people and the crime he committed against God by killing his creation, only Hell can do justice, so hell is a real place.

This is actually the easiest topic to teach from the Tanakh and the New Testament. As long as we look at the Hebrew and Greek, we find out that as soul is a living breathing creature (naphesh). Meaning that a soul cannot exist without a body. A soul is comprised of the dust of the earth and the breath of life given by God, Adam became a living soul. God did not give him a soul. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that after you die you immediately go to Heaven or to a place of burning torment. Really, it says it nowhere. The lake of fire mentioned in Revelation only exists to destroy the wicked who are resurrected to the second death, the wicked angels and Satan. Let's think of it this way...if Jesus needed to be resurrected back to life with a body...then so do we. If we want to get the best explanation of this, then we look at John chapter 11. As it is said so many times in the Tenakh, we sleep with our fathers. We sleep in the grave until resurrection. Even Peter said in Acts, during his sermon at Pentacost that David hasn't yet ascended to Heaven, but that he is in the grave over yonder. The bible tells us that the dead know nothing, that God is only the God of the living, not the dead. This really is not a confusing subject, we just have to realize as Christians and Jews that we have adopted pagan beliefs of the immortal soul, this goes all the way back to the Pharisee who believed that immortal souls went to Hades for torment and to the Bosom of Abraham before the ressurection. Particularly in the New Testament. it tells us that only God is immortal. Yes, He grants eternal life, but he can also destroy the souls of those who reject Him. Therefore we cannot be immortal, we are the creation. Only if the serpent in the garden is right and God is a liar, that are we immortal if continue to exist as a non-corporeal being after the body perishes. The entire Old and New Testaments never tell us that we are an immortal soul that can exist without a body. God does not torture souls for eternity, this is not Biblical doctrine. God simply destroys them at the end of time, and the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever. They are not tortured forever and ever.

That's what Christianity says, it's a new religion trying to claim the Jewish Bible. The Torah doesn't teach we have to be saved from hell. Nor is a blood sacrifice required that is stated in Hebrew 9:22. Do you know what the different sacrifices were for? Do you think before Christianity they needed a sacrifice to be forgiven? If yes, what if you didnt have any money? Animals cost money, is forgiveness only for the rich? Deut 12: 30,31 God hates human sacrifice, it is a abomination. But he's going to put his son in a body, then sacrifice it for subsitory attonement? Which again God says can't happen. We are responsible for our own sin. The Torah needs to be our foundation not the greek scriptures, so that we know what is correct and biblical. The Torah came first, the NT can be wrong and the Hebrew scriptures right but never the other way around. If the Hebrew Bible is wrong then all of its wrong. KNOW THE HEBREW BIBLE.

@@dirtypickle77 All the sacrifices point to the atonement Jesus made and were a shadow of it.God is the Redeemer and he redeems his people from the curse of the law because he paid got their sins which forgives them which means he did all the work and he brings his salvation to them by his word.We see the salvation of the men in the ship because he was tossed in the sea which is Christ went to hell to save as we see the calm after he was tossed in to that ship.

And it clearly teach us that the sacrifice of the sinful without repentance is a abomination. Furthermore, the Tanach clearly states that human sacrifices are also a abomination. The conclusion is that the whole death of Jesus as a Sacrifice is a abomination. And why don't we talk about the idea of drinking his blood or eating his body? The Tanach teaches that we should never drink blood of any animal, why should we represent something to drink that is the blood of someone else? Christianism have very horrible ideas inspired by religions that Israel fought in the past.

If you know anything about the ancient roots of Judaism and Christianity you would know that the concept of "Hell" and Satan did not even exist in early Judaism. Those concepts were adopted from Zoroastrianism sometime after 539 BCE when the Persians conquered the Babalonian empire under Cyrus the Great and freed the Jews from Babalonian servitude.

Hell is in the bowels of the Earth, where Jesus went for us. He also preached there and "led captivity captive" If I believe the story of Lazarus and the rich man, take it literally, and enter into a relationship with Jesus to avoid that burning place, what do I risk if you're right? Nothing. If you fail to believe in a literal Hell and I'm right, what do you risk? Everything!
