Judy Mowatt, a reggae and gospel singer who formerly sang backup for Marley in the group I Threes, recalled learning about Marley's conversion to Christianity in an interview with Cross Rhythms radio. Mowatt spoke with her former bandmate and Marley's wife, Rita, about the late musician calling out to Jesus Christ on his death bed. "When Bob was on his dying bed, his wife Rita called me on the phone and said to me that Bob was in such excruciating pain and he stretched out his hand and said, 'Jesus take me.' I was wondering to myself, 'Why is it that Bob said Jesus and not Selassie,'" Mowatt questioned. "Then I met a friend of mine and he said his sister, who is a Christian, was a nurse at the hospital where Bob was before he passed on, and she led him to the Lord Jesus Christ. So when Rita saw him saying 'Jesus take me,' he had already received the Lord Jesus Christ in his life."

Rita Marley affirmed that Bob was a Rasta to the end. Bob saw Haile Selassie I as the second coming of Christ. Judy Mowatt told this story about Bob becoming a Christian after she became a Christian. There is no evidence it is true.

He was shooken up after the shooting that after he left Jamaica to go to London to get away from it there he made the album Exodus and just about to go on tour after when the shoe incident happened went to seek medical attention and there in the year of 1977 was diagnosed with skin cancer of his toe so it like happened when he was doing his album of Exodus while playing football which was off studio I'm shocked to know that he got this while doing his Exodus album and about to go on tour for his album he's a Reggae legend and is deeply missed RIP to the King of Reggae his music will go on and so will his legend

They tried. I suspect the stress from the shooting contributed to the cancer development, as it set in very shortly thereafter. Extreme stress impairs immune function which allows cancer to proliferate. Nobody ever talks about how psychopathic it is that Seaga spoke at Marley's funeral after literally directing his henchman Lester Lloyd Coke to be present for his assassination. Regardless, he'd still be with us if he'd followed medical advice & had the amputation rather than opting for ganja and prayer.

Someone told me once he got into an argument with some people once who took pictures of him. He told them he loved a movement that are hated in the west, and considered to be terrorist's. According to him he did it only to frighten them, in fact politics religion and all that doesn't mean a thing to him. Two weeks later a person came to this guy and asked him to touch a phone so he could find a place he was looking for, he then asked about that same movement he mentioned which this guy found very absurd since it happened short time after that earlier incident a week or two before. The guy then got a line on his nail and today he might have cancer? Could a an agency really give someone cancer! I believe that they are capable of doing lots of things but cancer ? Really ?
