Give it a try. I've found it works great on pots and containers. One thing though, it has to be the more expensive stuff with the higher percentage of copper. I use the type sole for electronics

I'm glad it worked, I've been looking for a decent solution. Apparently only 20-30% of slugs are above ground. We live in a really wet but mildish area (S. Wales) so the slugs are insane here. I dug up an old planter left from a previous owner of my house and there must have been 50 to 100 in there...... Urgh. Makes it worse that I have to de-lung worm all the pets every month because of the amount of slugs in the area. Anyway rant over and thanks for the initial video and the follow up.
