Did The Detroit Lions Just Get Screwed By The NFL Again? The Lions have been forced to vacate one of their OTA practices because the violated the NFL contact policy in a previous OTA session in May. This begs the question on whether or not the NFL has treated the Lions fairly in respect to the rest of the league.

💯 it is so obvious how rent free Detroit is living in the heads of Green Bay. The fans are constantly on the Lions, Lafleur is a little cry baby, ex players, it is unreal.

Lmfaooooo The league as we adults know it didn’t start until years after Detroit decided to play on thanksgiving. Everything has changed except that and since Detroit is absolutely putrid on that day, 37-44-2, they have been doing Detroit a solid for decades not taking it away. You have zero idea how the schedule makers have to screw other teams over just to keep your tradition in tact. Nobody on the planet short of lions fans would care if the game was rotated away.

That's ignorant detroit started Thanksgiving football... as I have been to 25+ games... and I don't know what the adult comment was about just another example of uneducated ignorance but it started because Detroit offer to pay the salaries of the other teams for that game. The Ford family is also a major contributor to all 32 teams in advertisement but I guess we would have to know that too. Yes sir record is putrid but there is something called tradition shortsightedness forgets that

Not too worried about losing 1 OTA. it sucks but were about to have a good length of time off before camp before pre season. we still have stuff we can do in that time off and individual training camps.

Somehow the NFLPA got wind of this. It seems like a player may have brought this to the NFLPA. I smell a rat.

I am more concerned about who reported this if the players association was involved. Bad feelings would be a much bigger problem than missing an OTA.

Somebody help me with this, Why has the last two games been biased against Lions. Only showing highlights of Steelers. Interviewing Steelers players. Promotional ads of Steelers. Talking about Steelers schedule. And same thing happened with Chiefs game. Anyone else notice this???

If Detroit did something wrong and it was Germ that reported it there should be no hard feelings on the team. The players look to him as NFLPA Pres to look out for them. It was his DUTY to report violations if they were occurring especially if another player reported it to him. If he hadn't he would lose the respect his position requires.

Wrong, these are grown men not children who are in a family environment yes. Is blood thicker than water? A few outliers who cant handle the work for a chance to make millions need to relax. They are about to have plenty of time to do so.
