The eighth episode of The Acolyte, simply titled "The Acolyte" brings conclusion (mostly) to the journey's Osha, Mae, and Sol have been on - albeit with some devastating results. This week Frank, Kevin, and Brandon dive into the challenges of good people doing bad things. I appreciate the input guys and have enjoyed watching. While I haven't been the biggest fan of the show (my eyes have never rolled so far back in my head at times) I have found some of the hatred quite ridiculous. Very welcome to hear a balance. There has been some fantastic scenes/fights/acting and the story is overall engaging (we're all still watching right). It's difficult to give the show a mark out of 10 as it's been a collection of 2/10 and 9/10 moments and everything in between. I don;t know how this would work but I would like to see the story continue, but perhaps not as The Acolyte Season 2. Maybe branch into something new but carry over some stuff/people. Subscribed!

Thanks for the comment! Wish more people could be level headed these days. We just try to do our part to keep it fair and balanced as we see it. At the end of the day we all love Star Wars and will continue to talk about it so long as we do!

Agree with what Frank said about this not having the usual SW sense of hope. And yes to everyone’s thoughts on the double turn with Mae and Osha just not being well executed to the point where we don’t really care or like either of them lol

Yeah its wild to me that they were meant to be the main characters and most people Ive seen dont care about them(including me). They need to do a better job with those MC'S

Overall though this was a solid finale for the show that we got. The show did not always have me 100% but it had its moments. I think the story they were trying to tell was intersting just execution was a little bit all over the place liek in the prequels. I appreciate you guys always having good and thoughtful discussion even if you didn't like certain things. After some of teh teases and setup in this episode I really would want a season 2 of this show and hope it focuses more on QImir/Osha and the Dark side.

I mean I knew about fear > anger > hate leading to the dark side but mans just threw “DESIRE” in there for what?? lol. But honestly I don’t think it’s a shipping thing, more of him using that flirtation and tension as a manipulation tactic to disarm her.

What I would like to see? I would love to see you guys do a "state of the fandom video" and analize both points of view of both camps(star wars lovers and star wars haters). And also the people that just find it to be meh. Would also love to see how would you guys make star wars better if you were in charge
