Well done! I backed this guy and so glad to have him. I did not know who Deathsaurus or Victory Saber were but the designs were so cool, these 2 pulled me into the series. I am also so glad Deathsaurus does not have all those gaps and spaces that plagued Victory Saber. This is another example of how third party companies came to the rescue and made gap fillers for Victory Sabre. Again thank you for the review. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
If you think their designs are cool and watched victory, take a look at the Brave Series that came out not long after, not directly transformers but incredibly inspired but without the baggage being a transformers series brings so there’s overall more freedom in the ideas
I didn't back Victory Saber, I don't remember why. So I made sure to back Deathsaurus right away, and... _oh boy..._ I'm SO glad I did! He's just shy of perfect; no gaps, paint is on point, articulation is amazing, alt mode is... well, it's the death chicken for sure, this figure is a 10/10 for me honestly.
Deathsarus is finally getting the Attention he deserves,He has some Main Villain Potential outside of his respective Continuity and someday I'll get him.
I haven’t gotten to watching Victory yet, but I’m hyped for the amazing designs and that banger intro. Like it’s probably my favorite intro to any tv show and I sing it all the time.
@@mauriciodiaz8315 Apparently they said the next HasLab isn’t from Japanese G1, so it probably won’t be the next one sadly. They gave us the clue “Omega,” leading people to think it’s either gonna be Primus, Animated Omega Supreme, or RID01 Omega Prime
My only problem with deathsaurus isn't even the figure itself, because I can't critique it, for some reason pulse EU and UK just delayed his release for no reason
I remember when they only had the prototype even though I never will buy this it’s still such a good figure hopefully they do a restock for anyone who didn’t get it I won’t care but I hope anyone who wants it can get it
Epic review That Toy Guy!!!! I really enjoy having Deathsaurus in my Transformers collection, he has become my favorite figure of 2023. :D Keep on being amazing.
I preordered the latest Haslab figure, RID (2001) Omega Prime. I own both Victory Saber & Deathsaurus toys & aside from a few design flaws, I absolutely love both toys. I hope at some point, Haslab gives us Liokaiser 😊🙏
I have him in dragon mode right now, so I setup eris armadon to sit in the chair cause I think she looks really menacing in it and she's one of the only figures who can cross her legs.
Me, my brother, and sister actually found a few Coronation Starscreams which my bro bought one of them at a Burlington. The prices was originally $59.99 U.S. however it was discounted at $19.99, which is crazy to me.
It sucks so hard, like why do we have to wait so long, why can the gi joe guy have their haslab arrive at the same time worldwide but not us, EU transformers fans
This guy looks like he'd feel good in the hand. They rarely make them like this anymore. You can just kinda tell by how some plastic looks that it's gonna FEEL good quality, and this looks incredible. That combined with modern engineering... this is peak Haslab.
They make very big announcements for them on socials and streams and it's plastered everywhere online so I'd say just keep an eye out on those. And once it's announced you have 45 days of being able to buy it
As far as blast effects go, the absolute least they could've done is packed the Transmetal II Megatron fire breath effect. If there was ever a time to repack it!
I only got back into collecting Transformers in April, so unfortunately missed the boat on this guy. Thankfully, I'd never heard of him, or seen the anime, so don't feel like I missed out too much, though he looks so damn good, I woulda grabbed him anyways, had I been able to buy him at retail cost. (Fuck Scalpers) Hopefully the next one is something I'd want, like a perfect Devastator or Superion.
there are issues i have with the figure 1 of which is the limited limb articulation, like seriously only 90 degrees on both his elbows and knees with the knees you can cheat it by untabbing a part but that doesn't really count your transforming him to give him more articulation, and then the hands just why couldn't they have givien him a pointing finger too just so he can look like he is commanding his chest cons, also you cannot tell me he isn't just soundwave mixed with grimlock
I would love to have the rest of the Decepticon Justice Division (DJD) from IDW. It was a suprise to see Tarn in transformers legacy, but of the members he was probably the "safest" bet. The other members turn into torture devices. If anybody is gonna buy anything like that, it'll be adults who love the series and have a lot of expendable money. I would absolutely love that
Yea Evan said whenever they revealed tarn, they want to do the rest of the DJD. They will just have to change the alt modes. He specifically brought up the one (unfortunately can't remember his name), who turns into an electric chair and said they would probably turn him into like a tank with tesla coils for turrets.
@@optimaltron2768 i think electric chair's bame is "Kaon", named after decepticon's capital city. I think they can turn him into random core class partformer like Freezer or at least turn him into targetmaster thing like it was with Ring, or Wrong, can't remember the name.
You didn't mention that you can remove the bottoms of his wing to use as weapons - not that I've actually removed them. Also, regardless if you celebrate it or not - it's always Merry Christmas.

I still got to wait for my copies has there was some screw up at Hasbro UK and I won't see him until February, this time last year I had Victory Saber in hand, my complaints about him I revolve by third party upgrades such as the cannons on Victory Leo looking awful and the puniness of the sword blade
I mean I read somewhere that a Prime never will be a Haslab. Haslab is more for characters that are very unlikely to get a character within the mainline, or in a very compromised form. With Deathsaurus, for example, they've been thinking about a retool and repaint of 86 Grimlock from what I've read. RID Optimus Prime is a figure that could very likely be put into the mainline, if only to get what feels like 4-5 Optimus Primes per figure series.
