A pontoon is a fairly slow boat with a flat deck and an outboard engine, usually covered in astroturf, that sits on two canoe shaped bladders. Larger ones have upper decks, sometimes with a little slide. They can hold quite a few people. A koozie is a foam or neoprene holder for a drink of any sort that helps keep your drink cool in summer longer. Motorboatin' is just slowly cruising on the lake. Not... that other thing. Another fun summer country tune is "Redneck Yacht Club" by Craig Morgan or "Watermelon Crawl" by Tracy Byrd, or even "Knee Deep" by Zac Brown Band. You poor city guy.... I kinda feel sorry for ya. :):)

I've always been pretty sure the use of Motorboating is used as a double meaning in this.

They are using it as a double entendre. So yes they know the alternate meaning and are using the fact they are on a Motorized boat to include the phrase...despite Pontoon Boat not being normally considered "Motor Boats". Though Technically any Boat with a Motor on it is a "Motor Boat" they are generally a Motor Boat is generally considered a small single hauled boat with a Out Board motor, if it gets big enough to have a cabin or it has say a Jet engine on it then it becomes a Yacht or Jet Boat respectively.

Just a good summer at the lake song. Pontoon boats just have those tubes on the bottom of the boat filled with air.

I'm in Michigan. It's April 1st and it's snowing! I have a pontoon and can't wait for summer. Watching this video didn't help like I thought it would! Ugh! Lol

But with all the drinks and the sun, there could have been some of the other kind too. 😉
