I think that one of the benefits of Studio Series that people don't realize is that it gives us better MPM figures. Like, they learn from the SS figures to improve the MPM figures
@@DarkScorchpeople were complaining that he was too similar to the SS when he was first revealed but the same people were singing his praises when he came out. Got my copy in March and he's contending with legacy armada prime for my favorite figure this year
@@evalen4177 Oh trust me, I love that figure! He’s damn near perfect imo, I think he was my favorite new figure that I got in 2022. Now I’m debating on if I want to buy bonecrusher as well 😅
Here’s a fun fact is that truck in real life doesn’t actually have that long of a Crane and Michael bay just wanted to have an epic action scene with the Crane so he made it super long
pretty interesting how the overall transformation scheme has not changed since the original 2007 deluxe. Really shows they get it down the first try, but also props to the designers for placing all the vehicle parts in distinct and realistic places
Fun fact: MPM Bumblebee movie Prime having those "cat ears" in the truck mode is not inaccurate to all trucks, just the one in Rise Of The Beasts, some real trucks were used in logging, and had those "cat ears" that was something I noticed
I still really like the 2007 Deluxe, but this without a doubt is the definitive Bonecrusher. Other than being near perfect in accuracy I love how big Hasbro scaled him. Still not sue about the asking price as BBTS still has yet to put up a preorder page. Looking forward to some Reactivate reviews.
For me, Bony is the best MPM ever. The transformation is complex, yes, (thank you Emgo for the JTR) but when transforming, there is no annoying parts. Nothing fight me and there is no tolerance issues. Not only he's massive, but he's also almost perfectly screen accurate. A great achievement.
I absolutely adore body part formed with real vehicle detail. To me, it's easy to design transformers with faux parts. You just have a rubber hose and whenever you need to transform it, turn it inside out. I buy transformers for both the former part and the trans that link the two.
Ooh, excited for the Reactivate Bumblebee and Starscream video. That'll be cool. Bonecrusher looks awesome. Always loved his design for how weird and crazy it looked.
Great review. It's nice to see that they are only improving on the MPM line. Only thing that sucks is wanting to see them update some of the older figuers. Can;t wait to see what Brawl looks like!
I just got bonecrusher, ITS NUTS. I love him, I noticed after you mentioned the hip issues that mine in fact does have a prepped to explode hip ratchet, I’m not too worried about it especially with hasbros track record but I still love him sooooo much
I got mine in the mail a few days ago, I absolutely love it to death. It's my 3rd masterpiece (I got barricade like 4 years ago and then blackout a few months ago) and it is so damn cool, and absurdly huge. Only complaint for me was the instructions
Overall he does definitely look amazing, but it kinda feels like it's only an incremental upgrade over Studio Series (besides his undeniably superb chonk factor). The boom joint always poing straight over his head and basically folding the claws behind his back upside down compared to not just every other toy but also the movie itself feels like a step backwards, though. I also wish his paint job was broken up just a bit more since he's almost completely tan, even the claw claw which should be silver or gunmetal. Overall though, it does look like a must-have for MPM collectors.
It honestly kind of shocks me how Hasbro have resisted doing the 1977 camaro Bumblebee for this long. Probably gonna be Brawl's wave partner or something.
My copy came in a few days ago, steller figure, certainly one of the best MPM's to date. Was able to get $50 off mine through one of the Target Circle app deals and it worked on the pre-order too so even more pleased with the figure.
So idk if I’m the only one who doesn’t know. But when did his arms extend in the fight?? I rewatched it and couldn’t notice. Also great vid as usual! Definitely need this guy
It's been ages since I got my hands on a Transformers figure. MPM Bonecrusher and 86 Ultra Magnus will definitely be on my must have list at some point.
I have the 3rd party one. I'll probably wait for the KO oversize for it to scale with my Black Mamba/Wei Jiang figures and most likely will have better paint apps.
This is something i wish i could get, since I've never owned a masterpiece figure before, and this bonecrusher looks so accurate, but the studio series for me is a good substitute.
Hearing you mention that you haven't handled blackout yet, I'll just let you know that the transformation is pretty good and he is a real looker, just the final moments of getting into robot mode is a little annoying because there is so much happening at once, but he really solid in robot and the alt is CLEAN a hel.
To recap, we got: Optimus Prime Bumblebee Ironhide Jazz Ratchet Megatron Starscream Blackout (and Scorponok) Barricade (no Frenzy 😒) and now Bonecrusher. So, the last movie character (besides Frenzy) is Brawl. It would be cool if we also got movie 1 Arcee, but I doubt it’ll happen.
I just hopped on this, had a gift card on top of a running sale. No way I could resist grabbing it. Love these movie figures. Blackout and Starscream are incredible.
God. When the first movie came out. And i saw the scene with BC. I fell in love with him. i own all his toys except this one. So heaeing hes amazing helped me a lot!
I wanted to get this but got the nest bonecrusher instead (money issues). How long do you think it will take for this guy to get sold out? I'm hoping to get one in 1st of Jan if it's still available.
I ended up buying him (Got the money) and he arrived 2 days ago. FANTASTIC FIGURE BUT...make sure you check his thigh ratchets just in case. Mine hasn't broken thank God
after the mpm bumblebee beetle and mpm optimus bumblebee, i began to lose faith in mpm line and thinking they will only go down to the drain..oh boy, glad I'm so wrong about it..
12:26 You just casually revealing his foot was the size of an entire SSBB Brawn made me audibly say holy fuck Edit: i just got this guy and holy shit he's so god damn good

The claw doesn’t exist in real life. They custom made a longer attachment after being tricked by a photoshopped image. No, the real thing is also a solid piece
