Not gonna spoil it. But watching this video again I realize that it’s not foreshadowing infinity war, but actually endgame

Now that's what I call thorshadowing.

Also the mind stone is in the center of the gauntlet!

"Fear the Father's ambition" is not a reference to Thanos but to Odin who conceptualized the Gauntlet, saught the stones and conquered the realms but abandoned that quest because of the turmoil it brought.

Ragnorok was so tone-deafening funny I completely overlooked all the implications of Asgard's fall, Odin dying, etc.

Loki refused to sacrifice thor Quil refused to sacrifice gamora Gamora refused to sacrifice nebula Wanda refused to sacrifice vision Strange refused to sacrifice stark Thanos sacrificed everything.

The dance with Peggy in Cap's vision foreshadowed Old Cap.

Thanos: Pick head or tails Me: tails Thanos: (flips the coin) Me: what is it? Thanos: you should've gone for the head

Because in infinity war, when the guantlet is complete, the mind stone is in the center. Maybe thats what thor means when he says " and in the center, is that."

Hulk also had a vision but we didnt know what it was. Maybe that's why he was afraid to come out

6:34 the whirlpool that sucks in all life is the Infinity Gauntlet and the stone that goes directly in the middle of the gauntlet is the mind stone.

Many people made mistakes in IW. Loki didnt leave the space stone behind, Scarlet Witch and the others refused to sacrifice Vision, Quill hesitaded to kill Gamora, Gamora told where Soul Stone is to save Nebula, Nebula told Quill that Thanos sacrificed Gamora for the Soul Stone, Quill couldnt hold his anger and punched Thanos in the head with the back of his gun and making Mantis unable to keep Thanos in control, Strange sacrificed the time stone to save Tony, And lastly; Thor didn't go for the head, or arm leading Thanos to victory and wiping out half of the universe.

Thor's loss of his planet, father, brother, hammer, etc were the results of him entering that water and seeing into the future. We even hear Eric say: "History has shown that people who have entered this water their outcomes never end well". But despite of this, he went along with the consequences. As for Tony, the reason he took Cap's shield from him was because he had already seen it broken in half in his vision so he thought that if he took it away, it might alter what's to come. Damn, marvel is deep

The Infinite six. A good plot twist would be that he is actually talking about the original avengers. And they have to sacrifice themselves to save everyone else in the universe in Avengers 4.

I predict that all remaining g Avengers go to fight Thanos, and Thanos tips off his face, revealing his true identity as Steve from Blues Clues, and starts singing the mail time song.

Remember hulk in the Age of Ultron he was destroying the whole city. Because Wanda did the same thing to the hulk like she did to Tony, Cap, Natasha, and Thor. But we didn't get to see The Hulks vision in the Avengers: Age of Ultron.

I think Dr. Strange did make the sacrifice. He saw one outcome where they won. When people start disappearing, he looks to Tony and says 'it was the only way.' Clearly, giving over the time stone, was the only way. We don't know exactly what he saw in that one outcome. Maybe half the universe had to be destroyed first, and then maybe they get the time stone to bring everyone back. Maybe Thanos leaves his peaceful jungle place to destroy more, and Dr. Strange saw the Avengers (whats left) stopping him from killing the entire universe. Anyway, like I said, I think Dr. Strange sacrificed half the universe because of his time vision.

Endgame spoiler warning: Tony's vision somewhat predicts what happens in Endgame. Out of 14,000,605 timelines, the only one where the Avengers win is where Tony puts on the remade Infinity Gauntlet and snaps, killing himself in the process. His vision in Age of Ultron shows what would've happened had he not made that sacrifice. In the reality shown in his vision, he didn't snap, and the Avengers die. This is why Cap says "You could've saved us."

Holy hell this actually makes age of Ultron good

I'm hoping for stan lee to show up as the One above all and tell Thanos: "Oh boy, what have you done... We can't have that now can we sonny jim?" Thanos tries to erase him like the others but stan keeps popping up from random places around the scene and after a few tries he snaps his fingers to much surprised Thanos and everything goes back to normal. This will never happen, but would be an awesome cameo for the man, also it'll explain why he's in every single movie. He's the God, just having fun, observing all the events happening in his universe.

This is one of the best MCU theory videos I've seen in a long time.

"Fear the fathers ambition." Could be referring to Odin and his ancient conquest. Or maybe even Loki who is disguised as Odin at this point. Or Peter Quills father. There's alot of ambitious fathers in the MCU

Ok, so I got this all figured out. Here we go: It all starts with Doctor Strange looking at all posibilities for the outcomes when he is on Titan. Tony asks how many they would win, which Strange answers with ''One''. Strange knows what to do. Later in Infinity War, after Thanos snapped his finger and killed 50% of life, and just before Doctor Strange turns into dust, he says: There was no other way. He saved Tony Stark for a reason. Why did he save Tony? Tony created BARF. A way of creating an alternate reality. Next is: Ant-Man. Goes into the Quantum Realm to steal one Infinity Stone, so they could travel back in time, and the remaining Avengers can collect all six stones themselves! Thats why there are pictures of the first Avengers on the internet. They travel back to collect Loki's septer and the Tesseract. 2 stones. It all starts with Doctor Strange his line: THERE WAS NO OTHER WAY (but saving Tony, and continuing the quest to collect the stones themselves).

END GAME SPOILER! in the end he saved them all. i love you 3000

What if Tony has to do something major to save everyone in Avengers 4, and his vision is what would happen if he didn't. That's why Steve says "You could have saved us".

"you could have save us" proves that Stark is the key to Thanos defeat. That is why Dr Strange sacrifice the time stone for Starks' life to be spared.

When I saw "Ultron", I assumed the pool vision of Heimdall was Thor's warning of Ragnarok, and that he should return to protect his people. Your theory makes much more sense (especially given the extended pool deleted scene.) I like the idea that Thor himself doomed Asguard by attempting to save it, but wouldn't Hela have returned anyway (after Odin's death)?

Stark is going to do something big that's why Dr strange let him survive cus he saw 14million futures and the one where they would win was saving Stark

Basically Marvel used Avengers 2 to set up everything for Infinity War that's why Joss Whedon had a problem with the movie he had a different vision he wanted to go with but Marvel mandated that he put these things in the movie so it would adhere to the story arc, in Thor's vision Heimdall foreshadowed Infinity war and Thor 3 Ragnarok it's very obvious in Tony's vision you see the aftermath of all the Avengers getting mopped up by Thanos in space evidently at his location. That's why I believe in Avengers 4 they're going to go up there through the portal where Tony stuck the nuke in A 1 and they're going to fight Thanos on his turf.

Makes sense.. since these dreams were somewhere connected to the upcoming greater threat, the directors must have put these on the movie as hints on thanos' arrival.. also do not forget the prophecy made by surtur at the beginning of ragnarok,..he must be talking about the greater threat to the entire universe,the demise of the universe

The Mind Stone warned Ultron, he decided to end humanity so that the machines would protect the planet from Thanos, he was only doing his job

This is *brilliant!* Awesome analysis! It makes so much sense! This is why I love the MCU so much; it’s not just about people with super powers saving the world from bad guys. Each character has a deep back story and each movie focuses so well on the emotion and the character’s pasts... they are so deep in caring for the smallest yet important details and have so many “ah ha!” or “OHHH!” Moments when everything starts to make sense... the symbolism and hidden meanings/visuals in their movies is incredible!

Dr. Strange also literally sacrificed half the universe, including him, to get to the future where the Avengers win. At least that seems to be the implication.

Heimdall says "we are all dead, can you not see?" or something of the like. This confirms they are in Hel. In Thor the Dark World Loki was going to be in Hel where Thor would have to get him in Thor Ragnarok but this was changed post filming in The Dark World. Loki was going to be in Thor's vision but was removed do to test audiences misinterpreting Loki to be behind Ultron. Heimdall died in Infinity War. Loki died in Infinity War. What does this mean? Thor goes to Hel in Avengers 4, I'm calling it.

definitely planned. The MCU is the greatest and most epic movie series of all time. Star wars doesn't hold a candle.

It is very obvious that previous films have been referencing and warning the characters of Thanos. Anyone who has read the comics or is conscious of Thanos, could see this. But you did a good job at summarizing it. Ultron himself gives the biggest warning with his “Dinosaur” speech. He knew what was coming and was ultimately reshaping the Earth in his image to prepare for Thanos’ coming.

I think we are gonna see a power play out of Dr Strange. We all saw that Stephen is willing to lose to Dormamu for all eternity to keep Earth safe from the Dark Dimension. My bet is that Dr Strange is playing the waiting game on Thanos, most likely a spell he casted either on the time stone or the gauntlet, when they were attempting to remove it. I think Strange was buying everyone more time so the Avengers can gather up everyone in a final attack, due to the gauntlet being damaged after the genocide event of the universe. Thanos looked shocked that the gauntlet was severly damage and judging by how fast he left, it can be thought that he was escaping death by Thor's hands, but in reality the damaged thumb portion on the gauntlet cuts off access to the time stone and in return gives the Avengers their "end game".

In Thor's vision there's a character wearing a cape and a hood. Thor doesn't get to see his/her face or interact with him/her because of Heimdall. This character catches Thor's attention though. Who do you think he or she is?

Its funny how in the original Ragnarok, the event was first foreseen by Odin through a dream, or should we say 'vision'. And it was his efforts to prevent the catastrophe that ironically proves to be the catalist for his own people's doom.

Peter Quill could've killed Gamora. Doctor Strange could've let Tony Stark be killed. Wanda could've killed Vision. Damn

Maybe Tony’s vision in Age of Ultron is foreshadowing the end of Avengers 4, where the gang goes back to Avengers 1, and sacrifice themselves to achieve a goal to kill Thanos with the help of Captain Marvel, before A4 even happens.

I dont view thanos as an evil threat, as he makes a very compelling argument that hes actaully trying to make the universe a better place. The comics say hes killing them for "Death" .. I wish this was a factor in the new string of movies.. Maybe the next one will be a "pre-infinity war" movie, and back story on thanos.. Which Josh Brolin just mastered
