Just loved the way Vishal took stand against his own family for something he strongly believed in and did not hesitate to admit it. True sometimes a single person can not bring change. However the initiative he takes a makes a lot difference. More and more number of men will get motivated and bring change in the society. Such men needs lots of appreciation. However the way Kamya was speaking, seemed like she was fighting with him for letting the marriage happen. Huge respect for Aditya.

What even dowry means? After marriage the women sharing the whole house of Husband but if husband share the car/tv/refrigarator of wife then it becomes wrong and it's called dowry. #Dowry is a myth

It's happening to many more states not only in bihar Or up. Mai v bihari hu.. Maine v kaha tha mujhe dowry oe sadi nhi krni... Mere parents 4 saal tk khojte rahe... Bande k pas kuch ho ya nhi ho unhe paise chahie.. Unhe ye tk nhi pta ki wife ko rakhenge kaise lekin chahie... Lastly meri sadi paise de k hui... Agr aaj mai bande k income pe hak jatati hu to mujhe nhi lgta ki koi galti h.... Apne ladki me sb dekhi, hmne ladke ka job dekha, apne paise dekhe, hmne fir ladke ki salary dekhi... I don't think it's wrong...

In UP and Bihar, Your Job decided your dowry money its like business transaction. If person is IAS officer he can demand more money and bride side also offers them the money to marry their daughter. You can see how money and status become the bargain value which is sad! No emotion

First of all dowry ka happyness ke sath koi lena dena nahi hey. Agar ghalat insaan ke sath shaddi hue ho to dowry nahi to kisi or bajese problem hoga. Vishal never said his sisters were unhappy because of dowry.

Really like the way Vishal owned up to the fact and he said it is wrong to give dowry. Kamya's point somehow I felt was not completely agreeable as in Bihar has rules and is a conservative state, the way they think in Bihar's (village)is not the same as a city they are not very open to the new good changes. Kamya was keeping a good point but it felt like she was fighting to break marriages. Also a big hats off to Ritesh's dad, respect for him❤️

i think in Maharashtra the situation is not as worst as other states like Bihar, UP etc. There are many factors which are affecting this situation. But I thinks Maharshtra has progressive mindset in this situation.

I am from Bihar and I can relate to what Vishal said. For long I tried to find someone in arrange marriage who will marry without dowry but till date didn’t find anyone 😂. For one of my cousin the guy’s family had a demand and they said they will decrease dowry if they like the girl. I was like so if they get money they will marry anyone 😳 Sometimes the dowry amount is outrageous. I recently heard someone demand 50 lakhs. But I have met people across various states and these demands are there in different states in different forms. A malyali colleague told me he needs dowry because his FIL will give everything to son, so dowry is just daughter’s share.

When a bride's father demands that groom should be earning more or should have a gov job, he does so because he is getting his daughter married to that person, its all for her sake , if the girl is working then his income will matter a little less but if the girl isn't working and the groom too doesn't earn well how can he increase his responsibilities by marrying someone. Also when guy earns well he spends that money on himself , wife and family not on his wife’s parents. Then why should girls parents pay dowry. I have honest question why female search for rich men if they don't agree with dowry system I know dowry system is wrong but my question isn't wrong???????

In maharashtra (means I have seen ),mindset of people has change.i have not seen dowry in my community till now, I accept that it was earlier but now my own parents said to so many peoples not to take dowry.

Allhumdo Liilah hum 2 sister ki shadi Bina dowry ke hui. Even he was offered dowry by other girl’s father. He was trying to convince him to marry his daughter and reject me because my father is poor he could not afford dowry but my husband made his decision now we are married. It’s an arranged marriage, he could accept dowry but he choose me. I have a great great respect for him. He is very kind.

What i think and read in books that pase mangne walo ka muh kabhi bhi band ni hota humesha crocodile ki tarah khula rehta h ase logo ke yaha shaadi hi kyu karna pase wahi mangte h jo kisi kaabil ni hote ladki hi dahej h sabse khud apne aap me ek ladki apni family surname rishtey sab kuch chodh kar aati h and that's the one thing men can't do aur unhe kabhi karne ki zarurat ni padti still people ko dahej bhi chahiye dahej mangne walo se yahi kehna h ke aap apne bete ka sauda kar rahe ho kisi ki beti ka ni aur aapki bhi beti h and dahej lene walo se zada dahej dene wale galat h agar yr tradition har ladki ke gharwale break kar de to kabhi koi dikkt ni hogi small small things makes a big difference one day
