Yes i like the name Yeti. as a Flyers fan some say Gritty is a yeti species. hope Utah gets a yeti mascot. my dream Stanley Cup finals Flyers VS Yeti have a mascot feud between the yeti and Gritty .
the Utah VS Colorado rivalry would even better if the name is the Yeti i dont know why the Colorado fans don't see that it will make it that much better and from what i am hearing it was 99 that Howler the yeti gone away if that true its been almost 25 yrs how can they get mad .
Wait, Avalanche fans are complaining about Utah's potential name being the Yeti? What sense of entitlement do they think they have? They think they own all winter themed names? So I guess if Utah went with Mammoth, those Colorado fans will complain because their National Lacrosse League team is called the Mammoth? I don't know if Bill Armstrong really let the cat out of the bag as fans tend to try reading between the lines to everything. But Yeti is a fine name for Utah. Let them take this upcoming season to get all the branding done right. I won't be supporting them though since the hockey assets come from what was the Arizona Coyotes. I hope they come up with awesome jerseys compared to the garbage diagonal wordmark on their temporary ones.
Avs fans are an odd bunch. Not all of them. But the recent ones that just came in the last 10 years and never watched Foppa and Joe play. I used to like the Avs growing up and thought about going over there after my Coyotes but too many of them are just... spoiled. Same with Vegas.
@@Nay-kp6uuI agree But that's how it goes with generations. You'll find that a lot of fans of all different kinds of sports out there that make these outlandish statements and have these kinds of attitudes are young 20 somethings who don't know anything about the respective sports they claim to know so much about.
@fantasticvoyage262 No, it wouldn't be a waste of time and money. The name Yeti is trademarked and remains the property of solo and exclusive property of the cooler cup company Yeti .
