You can’t be any more gullible can you? 😂 she’s not playing anything like that. As someone else said, go listen to the actual song cause that’s literally how it sounds exactly. His singing is not even real. He’s lip syncing to a recorded track.
What’s the most amazing is that it wasn’t a flat out shred. It was a solo that matched the feel of the music. She served the song but didn’t try to show off. True musician.
@@muffinlordghoti1 No, they rate themselves so low because they know what they DON'T know, and think "oh wow, there's so much stuff I still have to learn. I suck!" When in reality they already climbed many steep mountains and left us mere mortals far far behind.
@@iqbalhakimi5866 nobody has ever thought that 10 was the lowest and 1 was the highest. nobody. and it’s not because he’s “stoned”. stoners don’t even get super high. it’s like a normality after a certain amount of time so stoners usually end up feeling more comfortable doing things while high than not. (me) & a lot of other people i’ve asked
@@danielhoward8354Yes really. There have been studies on the confidence of a person and their actual skill level. The results showed dumb people think they're really good, while the experts feel like they know almost nothing BECAUSE they are at a level where they're starting to reach the end of what we know.
That old American movie "cliché" about believing you are a winner isn´t always really true. Maybe we Danes are just weird. We had a horrible highschool football (soccer) team and really believed we we were going to lose all matches, there was no confidence in the team but we still managed to win the first 13 matches of the season. It´s only when we got cocky that we started to lose ... still managed to win one trophee out of three that season though. But I do remember one thing, we had fun, I had some hilarious team mates and it was one of the best years of my life. Yes, being humble is the way to go.
Dunning kruger. Shes a 3 because she knows there are some beasts of guitar players out there, so 3 probably isn't too far off. Then we have the other 'noob' guy who say hes an "11".
Yes, the Dunning-Kruger effect is the opposite when someone who knows literally nothing thinks themselves as 10/10 compared to others. Like during Covid, so many people became experts in viruses and what not 😂
If you’ve ever heard of the dunning Kruger effect what you’re pointing out is actually the less talked about half of it. Usually it’s referenced for people that are over confident and bad but on the flip side the more competent you are the more you know you don’t know
@@stevenrandall8300 There's truth to both. People who are less confident are more motivated to improve, even if they're already great. People who are more confident are more likely to think they're good enough and don't need to improve.
In the entire scheme of guitar skill shes probably on the money. Jazz fusion, blues and prog rock/ metal guitarists are the upper teir. Your Steve Vai's and John Petrucci's of the world.
As another musician I think there isn't a 10 in learning an instument you just improve and learn new things. Sometimes the learning process slows a lot tho 😅
It's just that people who learned a certain skill set know there are always people who have it greater. They know they still have a long way to perfect their skills.
@@boneheadloser I think the sound a guitar makes outweighs what hands look like when playing. 💀 So you don’t like her hand movements, it still *sounds* good regardless
She had probably the most perfect solo for that song. Eased in.. grabbed attention.. built the emotion.. shined just the right amount.. and let it ease out. Perfect.
Nah. I’ve played for like 16 years and I can shred. I’d say out of ten- like ten being Allan holdsworth and Julian lage- I’m a 7 maybe. But I’ll still talk shot and say I’m the greatest because it gives me confidence and the passion to keep improving. I like the competition. I don’t want to go to a solo and be worried “am I good enough?” I want to know I can do it and melt faces.
The thing is that what she was playing wasnt even THAT complicated. She's got improv skills and THATS the real tough part (who doesn't come from a Jazz background lmao)
That is not humble, that is modest. When you know your worth but over underestimate it to destroy their expectations. A humble one would have said something like "I'm quite good"
@@harz632 what you're saying is true to an extent. Usually the pyramid goes being so bad at something that you don't know how terrible you are (casually doing it for fun, not seeing the competitive nature in it or how good you CAN be at it), then the being bad but knowing that you are bad at it because you are aware of the capabilities of being better. Then being aware that you are good at it while you are trying to be good. Then just being so good at it where it is like muscle memory and you aren't aware at how good you are anymore due to just having done it decently well for so long... Though as I did previously reply, it is staged so she is 100% aware of how good she is. Just acted like she wasn't good to get shock value.
@@theaeisshow1165 because I’ve played guitar for 15 years and her fingers don’t match what’s being played. Why do you think they cut away so much? Fake garbage
You can always tell the exact type of personality someone has if they talk and type like a 15yr old rich valley girl that puts literally before literally everything. Literally.
@@nickpurdy69 She is most probably totally not involved in this at all. This guy carefully edited his own solo to the video. If you check it out you can totally see that.
That second solo was perfect. Not extremely difficult or complicated. Nothing flashy, but tasteful. It matches the feel and the rhythm. It was just perfect.
@@santoy1000 idk man… I’m about to look this shit up just to see if the girl was actually the soloist on the track… not cuz dude lied but b/c I’m inquisitive and curious … and I like Aussie music 😂 it’s not a big deal… it’s a RU-vid short bro not the presidential address
@@tirea277 I went to look up the official music video and yeah it's fake since the exact cords that she "played" are in the song itself. Even more proof, the music video came out on March 20th, this video came out on March 21st. If she actually played those cords don't you think she'd be credited it or something?
