a sign of a good competitive game is when your opponent praises your victories, and even when you lose you have fun and immediately want a rematch. being a good sport helps, but what helps that more is a game that is fair, has a depth of play, but is simple. another thing this has going for it is its short run time for games. if you lose, its fine cause you can just pick up another game! This game def looks simple, but there are a lot of opportunities for mind games, and the controls are responsive. Reminds me of other sports games like ice hockey for NES.

This is one of my favorite GG episodes of all time. It's so rare that we see Dan just utterly wreck Arin in an action game. Usually Dan takes Arin in board games and Arin takes Dan in action games, but my sweet boy Dan CRUSHED this and it was so satisfying to see him succeed in a genre he normally struggles in. This is so dope. Arin's getting better at chess and Dan's getting better at action games! I am loving this.

The hit-lag gives every interaction so much more power and excitement, and from the explosive shoots over the ball's squeeze & tear to the blue shadows, everything is made to feel like a fighting game. This is like Super Smash Bros but much simpler controls and yet as exciting. Job well done!
