I didn't make a video on this back when the journal actually came out because it was a HUGE spoiler, so I didn't touch it. But it's been like a year and we're getting the art book at some point in the future, so might as well lol. Here’s the info on Sasha’s family and life if you don’t already know: Her parents got divorced when she was 4 or 5 years old. The Dad remarried and The Mom is a long term relationship with a boyfriend that has his own kids. And Sasha was Very Private about her family life
That’s the reason Sasha was so annoyed with Anne in the reunion flashback. Saying, “oh I get it Anne. You’re a good girl who’s got to go home to her mommy and daddy”
My theory on why they divorced is that on Sasha’s 4 or 5th birthday, her dad lied to her mom and said he had to work late during her birthday party when really he was sleeping with another woman from his job.
Makes me wonder if we might ever get a spin-off series focusing on Sasha and Marcy during their time in Amphibia. Might give us more insight on Sasha and the Resistance, hints on her family issues. And for Marcy, her exploration and other things in her journal and during her time as Darcy.
Sasha-We already had a decent understanding of what it was like for her in leading the resistance. Marcy’s journal revealed the family stuff (which I posted a comment on) Marcy-her time as Darcy was spent doing those multiple puzzles before meeting Aldrich in that Core illusion. Her Amphibia exploits and return home were also covered in the journal (which I posted also posted a separate comment on)

I think it's very strange that people instantly assume Marcy has bad parents just because she had one fight with them, which was about having to move away. A very distressing topic for any kid.
Before Marcy's journal, we only heard the voices of Marcy's parents and were given the implication that Sasha's parents were divorced to explain Sasha's control issues. After Marcy's journal, we are shown how Marcy's and Sasha's parents looked like, and given some insight on them. I like how Marcy's journal fills in some of the blanks.
Here’s what happened with Marcy and her parents after she came back from Amphibia: She reconciled with them, both sides apologizing and she accepted moving away (which was delayed when she disappeared). Marcy also started seeing a therapist (which was a good call)
And here's my side of the story of Marcy's return from Amphibia which is better than yours: Marcy returned from Amphibia with Anne and Sasha at her side and arrived home to her parents after being missing for six months. She reconciled with them after they were glad their daughter finally came home. Marcy told them her story of why she ran away to Amphibia and that she was too afraid of being separated from Anne and Sasha if they moved away, and that she wanted to stay and be with them all the time. Her parents felt that Marcy would be heartbroken forever if she moved far away from her friends and decided that their move to Hopkinton, Massachusetts wasn't such a good idea after all. Marcy's mom helped her prepare a soothing, hot bath as she helped clean her up. After her bath, Marcy returned to her room and went to bed still in despair, with her things still unpacked. Her dad called his boss from his "new job" that told him that his daughter had finally come home, but he also informed him that he decided to reject the offer of taking the job, in worry that Marcy would be miserable forever if she left her friends behind. Disappointed and knowing that Mr. Wu would do what's best for his family, his boss agreed to find another employee to fill in his place. So, after that call, the Wu family decided that they should stay in California after all. That is, until the next morning when Marcy came by Anne's house to walk to school together with Sasha until Marcy noticed a house that was about bigger than her current one, next door to Anne's on the front left side of her house, still having a FOR SALE sign on its lawn. The house hadn't yet been bought by anyone because it was brand-new and newly built. If not purchased by a family soon by the end of the month, it would result in been torn down. Realising that if her family had lived there, Marcy could be close to Anne every day and she could save the house from demolition. This gave her a better idea. After she came home from school, Marcy told her parents about the new house next door to the Boonchuys and showed them a picture of it from her phone. "Just imagine," Marcy said. "It's a little more bigger than our own house. But if I had my own bedroom upstairs, I could see Anne from her bedroom window every day. Plus there'll be a room that's perfect for Dad to set up his own home office and Mom can have more space for her job as well. If we don't move there, the house could be gone until New Year's Eve. Please, would it better if we lived there, for a better change and a better life?" Marcy's parents weren't so sure about living in a bigger house next to Anne's, but pondering on what Marcy said was true after her long six-month absence, they decided to check out the new house first thing tomorrow morning. The following morning, when Marcy left for school, her parents went to see a real estate agent about the house Marcy explained to them yesterday and hired her to check out the house with them. After an inspection of the house, and seeing the room upstairs where Marcy's new bedroom would probably be, everything that Marcy told her parents was true! The rooms had more space for the parents' work jobs at home and Marcy would be able to see and talk to Anne every day. (At least, until Anne decided to relocate her room first.) When Marcy came home from school, her parents had exciting news; they managed to purchase the new house next door to the Boonchuys! Marcy was so pleased and very happy that her idea was a really good one and that she also saved her family from moving far away. With a lot of work to do, Marcy and her family repacked all their things and sold their old house so they can one day move to their new forever home. After Anne was relocated into her new room (her parents' old bedroom), Moving Day for the Wu family had arrived as Marcy and her parents moved into their new home. Marcy was so excited to see that she and Anne are now more than BFFs, they're now neighbours! Mr. Wu thanked Anne for writing the letter during the Christmas season about convincing Marcy to stay with her and not leave her again. Mrs. Wu also spoke to Anne that now that she and Marcy are neighbours, she's welcome to their house at anytime, same with Marcy whose always welcome at Anne's house anytime. Anne's parents were looking forward to having the Wus as the newest members to their block. And what's more... Marcy had even saved her new house from being destroyed! To celebrate Anne's wish coming true, Mrs. Wu insisted that Anne would stay in Marcy's new bedroom tonight, with Sasha joining them (So the three girls could help Marcy unpack her things for her new room.) Even Anne's parents liked such an idea as they'll be helping their new neighbours put all their stuff into their new places. From then on, Marcy no longer worries about leaving her friends behind ever again. And Anne is even happier that her wish had come true that one of her best friends is now living next door to her. And both Anne and Sasha are happiest ever that Marcy Wu is here to stay, now and always. (Do you like this story? I think this would've been the better conclusion to the series that Massachusetts. And please don't EVER delete this comment because I can rewrite this all again if you do.)

In an alternate universe, a policeman calls Anne's mother because they inform her that her daughter stole a box, she takes the box from her and meets with Marcy and Sasha's mothers to talk about their daughter, then Mrs. Boonchuy opens the box and all 3 mothers appear on Amphibia
Well, we may not have got to see them in the show, but we finally got to see them revealed in the journal. Sasha’s dad looked like he was trying to rizz us up.
I wish we had a flashback with Sasha’s parents. If they were going through a divorce, it would explain a lot of Sasha’s attitude in season 1 and 2. She tried to control Anne and Marcy to make sure they wouldn’t leave and because she felt she had no control in her home life.

It would have been epic that in an alternate universe, long before Anne, Sasha and Marcy went to Amphibia, their mothers had actually found the box when they were young, waking up in Amphibia,going through situations similar to those of their daughters, only at the moment they discover the king Andria's true intentions, they escape and return to Earth using the already recharged calamity box and then throwing it into the sea (but later being found and placed in that store) also without knowing that they still had some of the power of the gems left in their bodies that over the years grew inside them and then passed on to their daughters. Then several years later an enemy from that world comes to Earth..... So now each mother must train her daughter in her own way in a similar way to how in Dragon Ball Z Goku and the others trained to fight Cell in the hyperbolic time chamber. And ,Mrs. Boonchuy trained her daughter and like Goku was surprised when she saw that Anne unlocked a very powerful transformation like Gohan did

Rinally, Finally ! We can see them in her diary. It was frustrating and annoying throughout the show, the writers did not show them and we can like WTF I thought it will show them in the finale of the show
After returning home from Amphibia for one last time (the real story): After the portal to Amphibia closes forever, Anne and Sasha take Marcy back to her house. But Marcy is still upset that she'll be soon moving away to Hopkinton and she still didn't want to leave her two best friends behind. Anne and Sasha didn't like seeing their friend go, so they agree to help convince her parents to allow her to still stay with them. Marcy loves the idea that her friends are always there with her. She can see her parents through the window in tears that she ran away from them for the previous five months since she refuses to abandon her old life and her friends. She sits on the porch, possibly awaiting her punishment, while Anne and Sasha enter inside. Marcy's parents are happy to see their daughter again, but Sasha stops them so that she and Anne need to have a talk with them about Marcy's problem. The meeting: In the living room, Anne and Sasha talk to Marcy's parents about the reason Marcy had been running away. They explain to them that although what Marcy did was wrong and she was sorry about it, but all that Marcy wanted was to have her friends by her side like always. They even tell the parents that they both love Marcy, even designing their love name "Sashannarcy". They also remind them of the time that Anne first met Marcy at the beach when they were three years old. And there was also the time when the two met Sasha at the playground when she tried to defend them from two older bully girls from throwing them off their swings. The three became best friends ever since those days when they were little kids. If Marcy did move, her heart would grow dark, she'll never find two other friends like them, she'll lose her memories of her childhood, she'll hate her own father and what's even worse, she may shut herself in her room in Hopkinton and never speak to her own parents ever again. It'll be Marcy's dad's own fault if all of this happened. Not wanting for all of this to happen, Marcy's parents realise everything Anne and Sasha spoke about. Marcy still sticks with her decision to stay since she ran off, not wanting to change her mind for anything. Her parents thank the girls for bringing Marcy home safely and ask them to wait out front to discuss what to do now... in privacy.
My take on Sasha's parents being separated is unlike Anne's parents who had a community to fall back on, their marriage broke down after Sasha's disappearance possibly blaming each other for why their daughter ran away. The same thing could have happened to any of their parents without a support system to help cope with the loss. While it is possible they were divorced before the events of Amphibia, this is a more fun and angsty headcanon for me.
Day 352, video 364 of reminding ppl that I have a better chance at breathing then Masha & Raine have at being non binary, the guy who invented the separation between sex & gender was a pedophile named John Money,superman & Lois are a better couple then lumity.
