I'm glad you made this video because I know people are excited about Stover but we have to remember rookie TEs aren't usually impactful. LaPorta, Kincaid last season prove it can happen but it was really rare before last season. Especially with a developmental TE like Stover, Shultz is gonna be the dude at TE next season

schultz get a lot of hate for dropped passes and shit like that but like you said he is the target #2 he gets the ball alot and gets us to the line very consistently

I'm in a 12 man full ppr league. I'll most likely go WR, RB,QB in the first 3 rounds. Probably going to grab cj around 35, my league loves to go QB early.

Not really Schultz is going to continue what he been doing he going to be that security blanket for C.J. and help keep the chains moving. I can totally see Schultz getting 600-700 yards and like 5 TDs. He is one of the best TEs in the league

I'm not sold on Schultz. He's not athletic like Jimmy Graham, catch every pass like Owen Daniel's, run routes like Kelsey, or break tackles like Gronk. He was literally left wide open by the defense and all he had to do was catch the ball. I'd give more credit to the offensive coordinator. Brevin Jordan average more yards per catch and would of had better stats overall as a back up if he wasn't injured. Just an observation. Having chemistry with CJ is great but can you break a tackle, beat your man, and make a play when the game is on the line. That's what we need.

Remember the play where he took a pass right out of the defenders hand. What he may lack in talent he makes up for it in effort, dedication and being a great teammate.

Shultz has been a consistent top 5-7 Te in the league for like 5 years straight..his routes are very good and he’s huge a very good safety blanket for any qb he knows how to get open and to move the chains that’s one of the most important aspects

@gradystanley5812 If he was that good, Cowboys wouldn't have let him walk. He maybe 10th best when it comes to stats but, that's has a lot to do with Nico being the only other threat and Noah Brown being out. He's average at best when out receiving core is fully healthy.

@codystoots1 I like Schultz, I just wish he had something extra. PFF has him rated higher than David Njoku in Cleveland which is insane. I think Cade Stover is going to show us what a more dynamic TE looks like and he takes over for Dalton after next season.
