What's your research on either UPBGE or Amory3D getting Blender 4's shaders? I've seen so many Ghibli or Genshin shaders for Blender, but seen no one made any similar amazing shaders in UPBGE or Amory3D.

Unfortunately i have tryed to use them in armory, but armory doesn't have a ton shader node support. There are just shader nodes that dont work. I have used them in upbge and it works but it can cause a lot of performance loss.

Hey Loxaevion, can u make a tutorial on loading screens? the Blender Game Engine and its other versions have this odd thing: when you switch to a new scene that hasn't been shown before, it loads the entire scene at once, causing those annoying little pauses in the game. And i had this idea, what if you created a loading scene that quietly loads up all the important scenes in the background without actually displaying them? Do you think it could make the game run smoother? I'm not sure how to put this into action or if it will even work, so I'm asking for the chef's help

I second this ^^ and thought the exact same thing, un gane loading screen won't work because of the pause.

@@loxaevion Lately I've been messing around with 0.3 and im finding it a pretty good choice. And what do u mean when you ask how I switch scenes?, like i usually use logic bricks for that. I go with either a timer property or a collision sensor.

I have a question, I am making a first person game in UPBGE but I can't add any menus or overlays because the mouse is stuck to the center of the screen. How do I fix this?

You have to lock the camera when using menus. If you can look around the cursor will be locked in the center. Put your player and camera in a collection then suspend that collection

Pls can you make a tutorial on how to make 0.3 or 0.4 graphics stable . Sometimes when you add to Manny assets the graphics and physics get messed up

@@loxaevion for example if you increase the specularity of an object and you add some light in the scene the game will have some noise(like the noise in a cycle render) and also look distorted

@@samwolfie7021 This is pretty common. a way that might fix your issue, is to turn the sample per frame to 2 or 3 this will help with that. the only problem is that doing this can impact the games performance pretty hard. I have found that graphical issue pop up when ssr is enabled as well. playing with the render settings tends to help. If I have the time I will make a video on it.

I'm having problems with the animations (I'm using animations from Mixamo), the performance drops to 60, drops to 30, and the NPCs are basic

This is pretty normal unfortunately, mixamo animations have a ton of unnecessary bones that cause performance issues. its best to keep the rigs as simple as possible. then also make sure that you dont have to many rigs running at once this can also cause performance drops. lastly check the models. It could be that the meshes are to complex. to many vertices with animations will hurt it as well. any rigs you have off screen should be turned off or suspended.
