Nails that short look so painful 😅 I used to bite my nails a ton, but after growing them out I realized how much my nails hurt before because I bit them off so short
If you let them grow the skin on the bottom of your nail will eventually get longer. Try to leave a bit of the white. I have long natural nails and the skin under them grows past my fingertips now
@LikiLovesMc Yeah, I've been growing out my hyponychium slowly, but it sometimes gets pushed back if I cut too close. Do you have any other tips with growing the skin under the nail? Thank you!
I used ti be a chronic nail biter and my nail bed used to be HELLA short. After I was able to kick the habit (mostly) as an adult, my nail bed grew as my nails did. Just let them grow and you should be fine. 😊
I do my older brothers nails, file, buff, cuticle oil and even put clear top coat. At first he pretended to hate it but now every few weeks he asks to get them done 😂 he says everyone compliments his hands.
dry skin is apparently different from callous, former needs to be moisturized but the latter can be exfoliated. don’t just go drillling/filing away 😂 learned that the hard way.
Well my husband loves it when I do his nails . I cut them down , file them and put cuticle oil on them . Sometimes he even lets me put a clear coat on his nails .
Super cute! I once gave my boyfriend a pedicure which he had never had before. He loved it so much! So adorable to see his face glowing. It warmed up my heart 🥰
Looks great. Would have loved to see a buff. I know some guys aren’t into it though. Guy on my job gets clear gel. With the shape of his nails, I love to see it
@@catherine2373 Maybe you don’t, but it is proven by dermatologists that cutting the proximal nail fold can lead to infection. It is means as a barrier that protects germs from getting into your blood through the tip of your fingers and infesting it. Please note, I am NOT a professional, but I have done a lot of research. Hope this clears everything up :)
@@catherine2373 I've seen at least 2 fungal cases on this channel and she clearly cant tell coz she just brings out that electric file and buffs them. This is a very stupid profession.
@@catherine2373 you didn't see the big raw spot where the skin was torn? Yeeeah... You must live under a rock if you don't think that could cause an infection...
@@chillfactory9000 I have short nails her stuff still gets under them despite the length really. I can't stand short nails brvause of a sensation that is created when cutting that doesn't go away till they grow longer again (it's a very prominent feeling at first then gets weaker over the course of the week).
i always do my husband’s nails..the only time i couldn’t was before our wedding..he went our with his younger brother to get it done and the younger brother felt surprised how good it felt to have it done like a self care thing
I’m not a fan of a russian manicure with no enhancements. It’s great to prevent lifting, make designs look good longer and make cuticles look nicer but it’s not a substitute for a good manicure. Unless he wants his hands to look nice for a special event, then I’d go with the russian but would probably also put clear polish on or even try to convince him to go for a design that matches his outfit. Alternatively, I’d do it if I just wanted to farm views with oddly satisfying content with no regard for the poor dude’s cuticles…
You absolutely destroyed that poor man's cuticles! Beware everyone, this is what you get with a Russian/efile manicure. Look how red and inflamed his cuticle area is. This isn't healthy.
