If you read the discription for the "Zero-G Breachloading" ship module, it says that the default method of reloading ship ordinance is muzzle-loading. That suggests that they either need to drag the cannons into the ship or, even more comically, send out some dudes in space suits to put a fresh round in the barrel.
Then I really be making those bastards work calling I'm 120,380 and the walking in every 3 minutes to nuke the tower bases missions. Almost can't tell something existed their 😅
@@Raven5431 Make sure to get that Zero-G Breachloading ship module, then! Your loaders will appreciate it. Unless you think they prefer to work outside...
@korben600 for democracy sometimes hardship must be met with sweat. Limited budget and supply cuts have been made in order to redistribute resources along supply lines across the galaxy. Support democracy and purchase your eagle sweat today.
Those descriptions are genuinely hilarious, I read them all My favourite is an increased payload for the eagle craft, which goes something like “we removed useless features like airbags, ejection seats and fire suppression systems to fit more missiles”
I think I've heard a 'fuck you', both in someone else's report, and I may have heard it myself... Really hard to hear it at times, due to the amount of chaos or heavy artillery going off.
@@sp3ctre440 if they are citizens that have been forced into it.. I’d rather it be a helldiver like myself to put them out of their misery. Nobody deserves to be made into something against their will.
@@d00mzDai why would you just leave when the enemy of Super Earth is right there, my fellow Helldiver? Perhaps you might be a little too tired, grab a cup of Liber-Tea and report about your thoughts to the nearest Democracy Officer. Godspeed
One of my favourite details that no1 seems to have noticed is that when they nerfed the breaker shotgun to have less ammo, they actually went in and change the model of the magazine changing the type of magazine and its size to reflect it had less ammo, people wouldnt have batted an eye if they didn't, but they decided to anyway.
What's hilarious is one of the people who work for the company that made Helldivers 2 is having mental breakdowns because no one cares how woke the company is since it keeps real life politics out of the game
By the way, clankers chant goes like this: "Heart, steel, we kill, wake up on to war! Heart, steel, we kill, wake up on to war! Cyberstan, can't keep her down!" And it repeats (for those wandering how I know it, I was taken prisoner on malevelon creek)
I've had a mission where we had zero friendly fire incidents and the ship master said a long the lines of "a mission with zero friendly incidents is a statistical anomaly we strive for"
Another fun fact: no matter how many times you play the game and load in, the npc that comments on your last game will tell you occasionally congratulations on completing training since all helldivers are frozen until deployment :)
Also fun fact. When tossing a partially used mag. You can see the unused ammo sitting in it. When tossing a fully empty mag. There are no shells visible in it.
Some weapons reload by round, not mag. Revolvers and some shotgun are single shot reload, meaning if your mag is 5/8, it puts three in instead of putting 8 in and losing five. It’s a weapon specific thingy(bottom right of gun stats) and is really interesting.
You want to hear the rarest comment from her? Make a 4 man drop and have all 4 of you evac with zero deaths. "No deaths? This is an unheard of achievement!" "A successful mission with zero sacrifices is a testament to your skill and drive Helldivers." Are the two I have heard on the rare cases it has happened.
Fun fact cammonders will speak English… one of them talk about butchering humans and and how sad they were at butchering humans… the commander told him to shut up or face reset… basically normal human convo but only happen if a commander bot is in the group
Which is interesting because you would think the bots wouldn't need them. They share info telepathically, after all. An interesting anomaly, I wonder how we might exploit this?
I’m willing to bet my friend has heard some of those friendly fire lines, he takes the laser rover a lot and that thing seems to LOVE putting me between it and the enemies I swear. Legitimate had runs with him where the only deaths are that damn rover team killing me.
If you ever fail to get to the shuttle but complete the mission while failing to extract due to mission time out, Pelican one's pilot will tell you to "make sure you are on the landing zone this time" for a couple of missions afterwards.
The reason why we have helldivers in the first place and not just bombard all our enemies from orbit, on which we can clearly do, is because super earth has a major population problem. Getting killed or friendly fire is the whole point of helldivers.
“Good job! The enemy barely noticed our presence before we pulled out!” She says when you’re the only one out of 4 that made it out, covered in the blood of your comrades
Automaton Scout: “Slow day ain’t it? I bet those flesh are having trouble clearing the bunker” Rocket Devastator: “And why must we guard this broken down beacon while our Iron are having fun* *fainting shout of Deploy Aegle* Scout: “wait, do we need to guard that red beacon?”
I heard something amazing yesterday. On a mission we came back and she said that there were no friendly fire incidents. I didn't think that was even possible.
Yeah nah, I’ve actually never heard those shipmaster lines. I’ve only heard praise, which is surprising, though I do tend to minimise how many times I die. My crowning achievement currently is 2 stratagem jammers solo (stealth for one) with over 200 kills + zero deaths. This was also on suicide mission so idk if it’s impressive or not, but I’m proud of it regardless. I like “immersive play”, cause helldivers are asymmetrical warfare specialists (in lore), so I hit hard and fast, break LOS then return for another go.
You can see other ships launch their orbitals, as in other teams on the planet. And when a mission is failed, you can see the ships get shot down/blown up
This game has so many nuances. I love how they overlap things that in the heat of battle or the excitement of a pending battle you just miss. LIVE THIS GAME!
Ok so a quick tldr on the revolver the reason why only spent casings are ejected is because the bullet that was fired kept it in place, thats why when reloading the revolver the rounds thst were not fired stay in the cylinder, also something to do with how the bullets are made too, i am probably talking outta my ass here as is been a while since ive seen a video on revolvers
That officer also likes to give me sass whenever I don't pick up enough samples. Like... my sample count is maxed for those green things. What other uses do you have for them? Remember, curiosity of alien artifacts is treasonous.
@@echtvergoldet Not to mention that the.. Irons? Sights? Whatever the fuck it is on the Senator, the revolver, is arguably *the* worst sights in the game. Which arch should I be aiming for? Is it the red lines? Do I have to hit in the middle? Is it even lined up in the first place?
@@icehoof The ejection method pushes out all of the shells, the fact it miraculously ejects only the spent shells while keeping the (heavier) bullets and reloading them defies reality. As far as balance goes, gimme all my bullets for the revolver!
@kalebglenn5279 Maybe they have a hidden mechanism that can differentiate fired shells and eject only those, possibly electronic. It seems like it might overcomplicate an otherwise simple weapon, but we are dealing with a sci-fi setting. You'd probably want a way to eject live rounds when necessary, but in combat, being able to quickly top off the revolver seems like a useful feature. Making a revolver that can selectively eject spent casing would be a lot easier than FTL travel that can reach anywhere in the galaxy in seconds or instant communication over many light-years.
When you do a match with no friendly fire i think the crew would say "No friendly fire! Great, now i wont have to sign any paperworks tonight!" or something (there is probably more than one voiceline for it tbh)
If you set language on deutch/german, you can literally hear that they are saying something. This is not just throat scratching. THEY ARE SAYING SOMETHING😮
One of my favorite easter eggs is a Mass Effect reference in the acquisition center. 5 stars "I'm [redacted] and this is my favorite product in the acquisition center" - Specctrei
I was playing with my friend yesterday. I head them chanting I was like dude do you hear that? It sounds like chanting. He’s like I don’t hear changing I just hear them marching. I’m not going crazy
It is indeed a marching cadence. "Heart! Steel! We! Kill! Stand! Up! On to dawn!" "Cyberstan! Can't keep her down! Legion go! Our new dawn! Cyberstan! Can't keep her down! Stand back up! On to dawn!" Those are the two I've heard.
