(A tabloid she used to be an informant for confirmed the license because they had seen it). She herself said she’s “mixed”, and was treated as such until she felt her race became a point of discussion when she got together with Harry.

In the US after the 1990s, individuals with a black parent for example, could identify as biracial or mixed. Prior to that, individuals were classified as black, ie. Halle Berry, &/or Barack Obama. In other countries, ie European countries, individuals with a black parent were and in many cases still are identified as black.

Meghan didn't come from famous parents but I'm sure she wished so. She was exposed to many girls picked up by limos from school and envied it and their whiteness. The evidence is in black and white on past resumes and cannot be denied. A biracial woman i just love is our first black Miss America, Vanessa Williams. Class, talented singer and actress, family love...great parents. Absolutely beautiful...MM should take a lesson.

Exactly 💯! My skin complexion is darker so it's easier to identify me as a black woman. But does that mean I have to walk around declaring I'm a black woman? Do I need to wear an afro with a pic showing "black pride?" Do I need to speak Swahili? Do I need to speak black (ebonics) so you will definitely know I'm a black woman? Do I need to act black to prove that I'm a black woman? My point is....what does acting or looking black have to do with knowing my heritage, celebrating my heritage and claiming my heritage every 5 minutes? Meghan knew from a young girl that she was different, she knew that she was mixed race, so why are people now saying she denied her blackness, when her mother is definitely a black woman?

The world is racist it's an unfortunate fact that blacks and biracials both have to deal with. But it doesn't change the fact that it takes TWO black parents to make a black child, not just one.
