I was in Israel a few years before, l had felt most of peoples are non practicing Jews though they r considering themselves jews. Maximum peoples have either agnostic or atheistic approach towards Jehovah and after life in heaven
@carlo negri I don't need to ask you should ask the rabbi he will tell you that Jesus was Jews but he is not our messia and by the you proud Italy I am proud Jew I am proud of it beacose my people and my religion exist 4000 years and our temple and western wall exist more then dome of the rock which it's build in 691 and the Christian churg
I respect and like jews because we (Christians) are part of them and jesus was a jew and both religion worship the same God our loving father Jesus bless you
mindboggling. Its wonderful to know that. I hope jewishness also shares the wealth produced from these products to help the human race & mother eaerth so these jewish people will have many lifetimsto enjoy peace on mother earth. Shalom peace to us all.
An extremely partial list. Ex: Louis Kahn, a better architect than Frank Gehry. And you left out artists and writers of all kinds. Rothko, Pissarro, Modigliani...
@@JewoftheWeek Add the name Burne Hogarth, the cartoonist who drew Tarzan and one of the founders of the School for Visual Arts in NYC. Hogarth is considered to be the "Michelangelo of the comic strip."
1.judaism is an ethnoreligion and in most cases it refer to their etnicity 2.jews are persecuted minority [consisting less then 1% of or population] so when a jew ''made it big'' it's inspiring for other jews espcially for those who deal/dealt with antisemitism
You forgot Jesus Christ, the Son of God. And Daniel Radcliffe is an atheist, not a Jew. Judaism is a religion. A person's religion is defined by what his religious beliefs are, not by atheism.
Being Jewish is a cultural heritage and genetic thing it doesn't mean you are a practitioner of Judaism. For example I am an Atheist my grandmother practiced Judaism and held those beliefs but we both are Jews in the racial context.
Berny, you are wrong, because go look up the dictionairy definition of Jew. Even Google and Wikipedia define it as an "ethno-religious group", meaning one can be a Jew religiously or ethnically. Dan Radcliffe is an atheist Jew. He is not a Jew religiously but ethnically.
If your mother is jewish you are jewish, now there are other factors like having a bris (circumcision) but even if you don't believe in it or are completely against it it wouldn't change your status of your lineage and you'd Still be 100 percent jewish, in our religion there is no "leaving" the religion one of the more unique qualities of Judaism
