New Tire and Rim DLC ''Jack of all Treads'' Things you need to know 2023 #snowrunner Did you KNOW this about new Tires & Rims DLC Join this channel to get access to perks: / @telemenace
Personally I think this a pretty neat dlc, we're getting something that is improving the visual and possibly the performance of all the vehicles in the game
im gonna be very honest here. The mods you can do in snowrunner are very lackluster. and i get so pissed off when i get damage from invisible terrain things / small rocks. you do all that efford to build bridges / but you cant turn a road into asphault ? :P
As soon as I got the rim and tire pack I went through my garage and started fitting every truck with the new stock. Definitely a fresh new look on all the vehicles. 2 thumbs up!
From someone that grew up in the mud and 45 years later still play in it all the time in both my jeeps, my monster blazer that has won several mud bogs, with 52s on it have tractors, skid steer all kinds of equipment and have been a professional mechanic for about 30 years those tires are backwards. Turned the right way they will clean the mud out of the tread so the tires keep more traction. The only reason you see some people occasionally mount them that way is so they have traction in reverse for after they are stuck to try to back out.
Wait, wait you said this is heading in the right direction? DLC tires is pay to win.. that's really dumb for a game that revolves around tires... They could've added more Rank levels cuz being at rank 30 with nothing else to unlock is boring. But instead they are becoming greedy with Pay to win items
@@teleMenace This is the 2nd time I've seen someone refer to the tires DLC as "Pay to win". I wish someone who thinks this would point out where the competitive mode is because I've never seen it.
Yeah the k1500 look’s hellaciously better with the makeshift interco boggers and they actually go through medium mud way better instead of the wannabe nitto mud grapplers
Jack Tires What I Liked GMC BRIGADIER 8000 didn't get JACK TIRES. Tyre tread HMD II +UHD II front and rear different profile mud and off-road JAT MMD I+II+II Front and rear profile twisted JAT OMD I+II+III Rear double tyres Twisted profile
A letdown DLC tbh, i won't refund it but is not rlly too good, performance wise it may or may not offer any benefit, i didn't notice anything. Looks wise the offroad tires look like trash while the allterrains and highway of a things do look good and there are no ice tires at all, so basically the only good things in this DMC are the rims and the unusable tires which are the highway and allterrains. Offroad ones look awful and no ice ones.
Still undecided about this DLC. I know that it will surely benefit players who are new to SnowRunner and others who aren't that far into the game. But I'm currently at 91% of overall completion all with vanilla trucks: while there seem to be some interesting tyre sets, this DLC feels a bit "too little too late" to me. It should have been released together with regions like Amur. If Saber plans to release more regions after Season 12, then maybe I'll buy this DLC. Cheers! //Rick
Most likely, they'll keep us busy with more regions until the next game comes out. You can still buy this dlc even if you are at 91%. I know people that completed the game, and they're doing a new game plus and have their games set up the way they want it.
It’s also for displacing water outwards etc. crap DLC should be free, or do you have to pay for this! Idiots at Saber can’t even make tyres correctly. Ironically, I’ve just fitted a Michelin City Grip 2 to my motorcycle.
@stumpusMaximus yeah I love this game but I hate that they don't prioritize bug fixing and instead make paid content that should be free to everyone. just the world we live in I guess
The Rezvani looks badass like that. It looks like a dedicated mud bogger. Also, the front fenders aren't as wide as the rear fenders, so it looks like they're sticking out a lot more or sitting uneven but they look even. I wish the Silverado K1500 sat as wide.
Dual muds??!!!! I thought this dlc wasn't going to be worth it much and I think those alone change my mind, also those tires on the azov look awesome they look like osh kosh tires or derry as they're known in game
@@teleMenace I think it's more that the entire team has no clue what they're doing, and it *really* shows. They've been making glaring mistakes like this since day 1.
Also, yeah, the tread of the one tire set is backwards but some tires (tractor tires or similar) are meant to be used either way, depending on the terrain (mud/snow/sand).
When I was playing today I was thinking the direction on the tires looked wrong. A great side effect of the DLC is now the Scout 800 is more stable with the DLC tires. As for grip the reality after looking at the numbers the DLC tires are only slightly better. This is not game breaking. They are however poorly gated for the scouts so you can get mud tires at the very start of the game. This makes the chevy very capable very early in the game.
Those are not balloon tires, they're called arch tires and in reality they perform way better than in the game. Plus the upside down thread is actually made to scoop the mud rather dig into it.
the croc gains 1 inch 42's to now 43's . and zikz 566a gains 4 inches.(however i think its incorrect) idk how many trucks got wider tires but the CK1500 and rezvani have very noticeably wider tires. adding stability. it looks like u got some of these by the end of the video though.
It's not you it's the weird devs that do 99% of things backwards. The tip of the V-thread must look downward for better self-cleaning from mud. But the devs are too focused on making more and more paid DLCs that they invent their own understanding of how world works. And thank you so much for the quick overview, have nooo time at all this week to put my hands on the new dlcs
@@teleMenace haha. well It's only the new tires/wheels that made The wheel base wider no other update that I know except the newer multipurpose addon and bigger crane addon not sure when they arrived.
I hope they fixed the sway that the actaeon and the tetra 805 and others had in the new update????? It makes them virtually unusable and angers me because I would like to use them more... But when the rear end swings out randomly completely runes an otherwise cool rig 😔😔😔😔
Here is a beginner guide video I've created to help new players :) Welcome to SnowRunner community ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nB4_7ijxBZ4.htmlsi=oLcylpAG8hs9qBQI
Thanx…I’m 70 years old and I’m a sponge just little dried out…I’ve messed with my controller I am struggling with what button does what so I made a legend to look at…but I’m not driving very well…I’m like diarrhea..I’m all over the place.
Oh, I'm sure you can still enjoy the game . it's pretty relaxing. The first thing to do would be to try to level up so your truck can equip all terrain tires (that is a massive boost)
@@teleMenace they are not. Just a regular template with asphalt grip boosted up to 3.0 (more than scout highway tires have). The same goes for H2, Jeep and Land Rover special tires.
When you load up to the game and are greeted with the main menu . In bottom right of the screen there is a message to register for PROS (cloud game save service) its completely free and you dont have to use it , but registering gives you horns to use on some american trucks and an awesome FleetStar skin
The tires om the apache are actually correct. If you've ever seen a skid-steer, they're usually mounted the same way. The direction of the tread increases traction and is less likely to "dig" by forcing the material toward the center of the tread pattern rather than toward the outside. (I also used to mud-drag with similar tires and learned the hard way)
I have NEVER seen a properly mounted set of chevron tires with the chevron pointing "up". From farm tractors, to monster trucks, to mega mud trucks, to UTVs and ATVs, to front end loaders and skid-steers. The chevron points down to move mud out from under the tire. You even said it in your comment. Why would pulling mud under your tire help with any kind of traction?
@@ktrocknerd I'm in the midwest. You want the material UNDER your tires, not AROUND your tires. That'll just dig you in and strand you in deep mud. I've always seen them mounted so from behind the chevron is down. I grew up in an autoshop, worked on a farm, AND I've worked in a tire shop. We've always mounted them this way AND a lot of the ones I've mounted we're uni-directional with arrows AND wording stamped on them indicating mounting and rotational direction.
@@teleMenace I heard that when I was watching a polish offroad group showcasing a Mercedes 911 Kurzhauber firetruck. They compared it to a polish 4x4 STAR 244 firetruck with differential lock on rear axle. The trucks were similar in size, weight, wheel type and drivetrain. They driven both vehicles up a snowy uphill dirtroad. Both vehicles stopped nearly at the same place with 1m difference. Guys then said that's probably because of the dual tire setup which holds the trucks back. The channel is called Terenwizja and the video title is "Prosiak w terenie. Mercedes 911 Kurzhauber".
