The fact that MTV let him to that to those kids is f’d up. None of their lawyers told them it was a bad idea? They just didn’t care, just a bunch of black kids!
@@nikio1975 i'm from LA, whats wrong with walking the brooklyn bridge? you make it sounds like theres no walk ways and you have to walk into on coming traffic
The sad thing is Daband, Danity Kane, and Day 26 were all good artists with solid albums. Diddy definitely a devil just wasting ppl's time and their dreams.
Stevie wonder, the 3 blind mice, Ray Charles, Helen Keller, the 5 blind boys of Alabama could see diddy didn’t give a F about them folks on making the band🤷🏾♀️
I wouldn't doubt he set up Biggie to get his publishing and money. Remember Pac and Biggie was once friends and cool. They probably would of squashed their beef later if they would still be alive.
Me and my husband were watching Making The Band episodes the other day, and he mentioned how the music wasn't getting the same production quality as Diddy's own music 😅 But the funny thing is, Diddy sat there bopping his head like everything was perfect and up to par
He was faking everything about that show and put those young people through he**. I've never liked him, he has an evil spirit that shows. Gorilla Peace 🦍
I mean under the system of white supremacy p diddy being classfied as a non white person you gonna have to do a lot of harm to your own people to make it far under this system the white elites don’t allow blk people to make tons of cash unless it’s a load of harm being done to his own people in process an gangster rap was the biggest harm he was basically helping racist recruit blk people to make songs talking about doing things to go to prison
You should interview some of the cast from making the band. I'd like to hear their side of the story. After the cheesecake incident I knew it was for show like all MTV reality shows. That's also when I stopped being a fan of Diddy.
@@henryjones542 You're probably right I can't remember. But everyone else sure is telling everything about him. He has obviously burned a lot of bridges.
It was clear that Diddy had no real plans for those making the band groups. I’m surprised that Danity Kane and Day 26 had sophomore albums. It wasn’t a surprise at all that Da Band didn’t have a follow up album. If anything it was a surprise that they even had an album released. Just look at how he formatted the group. He just threw a bunch of rappers (and Sara) together for tv purposes. It was clearly for the show. The fights/drama is what kept the ratings up, not the music. And when that got stale he got rid of them smh
Almost all of his artists only had one album under his label. Biggie didn't even live to see his 2nd album hit the streets. Mase might have been the only one with 2, I'm not sure..but yeah that's purpose work he did. He paid them next to nothing in the contracts, when the songs are albums making millions he was reaping it all.
@@MJBABYPHAT yea for the most part you’re right. Carl Thomas, Black Rob, Craig Mack, G Dep (even tho that was his fault), and The Lox all only have one album under Bad Boy. 112 and Faith has the most out of all of those artists with 3 a piece. Diddy had more albums released under his name than everybody on the entire label
I heard Ness’s song the other day. One of the lyrics mentioned fake thugs in the industry and pill popping. I was like, welp, here goes another witness to Diddys madness. 😂
We see that Sarah's husband at the time wasn't having that weirdo mess with Dirty Ditty. He stood up to him and refused to allow him to take advantage of her. Now I see the TRUTH, he wasn't trying to mess things up for her, he was trying to prevent that devil from messing her up!
@@jkweili Karma is very real. And not on no magical, abracadabra, ooga booga type shit either lol. It's SCIENTIFIC. Every action has an equal or greater reaction. That theory's no different from the basic concept of karma....
I always said Danity Kane should have been the next Destiny Child. They were the most successful group out of the franchise, with two number 1 Albums two platinum back to back hit singles; none of the other groups achieved that, and he kicked them out of the height of their career....doesent make sense
The 1st person I thought of was Freddy. In his Instagram he was pouring his heart out and everyone thought it was funny and called him bitter and looking for a handout. I think he deleted his IG since then. He needs to be vindicated.
They gonna have to live with that cheesecake scene for life! I remember that scene like it was yesterday. That scene is one of the greatest in reality tv history and most likely an embarrassment to them. Its sad they ain’t even make no money or get a real contract.
That was the idea. He makes millions and they make nothing. Their payment was the illusion of the possibily of making it big by "working" with dummy, I mean diddy.
⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️It's about time that "ALL" organizations, industries, companies and institutions and so on get exposed for abuse of power.... time to start knowing your rights and get a class action law suit the use it has never had due to fear of being black balled from these entities.⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️
The white slave masters taught sissy how to be completely lacking of empathy only to his own people tho diddy wont do none of that to white women if he did he knows he won’t be in that position
A business and institution will always make sure they sitting pretty. Lawyers and know HR doesn't represent the workers only the company. So know the law, a good azz attorneys [ network make friends with ppl so just incase] u know what route to take. Stay blk✊🏾
It's sad cause Fred clearly is having mental and emotional issues. Choppa was getting arrested for pimpin porn chics. Dylan is nowhere to be found. Sara had all that drama with her husband and tried to kill herself.
DUHHHHHH!!! How did people not know this? 😩😩😩 You ain’t finna smash a bunch of people together who don’t know each, no chemistry, and make a group you serious about. How DK even sold records and had a fan base is still wild to me. This was fa play play. It was a SHOW.
I never understood a band with so many artists that was so different from each other.. Lot of wanna bes, Wanna be Lil Wayne, Wanna be cash money Fred Wanna be Mariah Cant carry, Wanna be rah digga Wanna be Beanie Seagal, wanna be Mos Def with Wyclef voice, 😂😂😂😂
@TheFusion336 yes sir it was good for TV. But I knew it was bs because I never heard of Biggie Kim an Mack walkin to get a cheesecake for Puffy to get on with Bad Boy
Babs actually passed out from that walk to Brooklyn. Their tour manager Jason spoke about it in an old interview. Da Band, Danity Kane, and Day 26 ALL spoke about how broke they were.
Sounds like Suge wasn't the bad guy everybody was made to believe he was. There's a consistent variable in stories about Suge: if he thought artist were being taken advantage of, he addressed it by any means. Yes he has flaws, but hearing all this, he definitely wasn't the worst.
Suge was definitely a bad guy lol. Let’s not fool ourselves here 😂 He was mainly just a bully and a gangsta/street dude tho. He just wasn’t the sneaky, cowardly, treacherous, narcissistic snake that puffy unquestionably appears to be at this point.
When he said at the end it’s not funny that mean Art was in tears behind the camera 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Man when he said like that I start crying because can you imagine them hearing that shit and thinking bout that walk?’ 😂😂
I don't even think Freddy P. knew the whole thing was a sham. In his interview he just talked about how Diddy was getting all the money from the group.
And they were going after Q because he said the contract wasn't right; he also did Making His Band and what about Dirty Money with Dawn; she was agreeing with Cassidy.🧐
And these ppl don’t realize Brooklyn to Harlem is far asf that easily at least 7-8 miles….we always clown the drill artist that have “beef” from the two places because they are too far to have real beef
The game of life is not a team sport, it's a single player tournament. The ones who came into the game with good intentions like Tupac, Malcolm X, Nipsey Hussle etc ended up losing because they had too much heart and soul when that only gets you exploited by others in the desperate pursuit of winning. Guys like Diddy and Jay Z succeed and reap the benefits cause they understand the rules. You can take some but not all, you can love few but not many. If you don't play it like a conquest then you'll get trounced. Sad but true.
Right and wrong. It can be a team sport. Everybody just needs to know their role, play their position and all be on the same page. Pac and Nip were way too close to the chaos factors in their lives and unfortunately it brought them down. Malcolm, like Martin, was flat out brought down by the powers that be. Diddy and Jay were in bed (Diddy possibly literally lol) with the gatekeepers of the industry that pushed for their successes and allowed them to become the major figures in the game that they did....
Everything made sense well we all knew it but we needed a confirmation from the inside.i like gene he keeps 100%.he need to spill more truth of everything
If a narcissist can't use you for their benefit, they'll discard you. They never want you to get to a point where you don't need them. Its all about control...hence why he doesn't like talented artist.
To be fair he was clowning them to they face and making them do weird stuff, Chappell show made fun of it the best but we still need that surviving diddy documentary ASAP
Smh,to think I thought "the apprentice" was fake too! People look up to and gravitate to power, money, and fame! The awe struck feeling of interacting with a celebrity. Smh, behind the lights is hell!
I believe the idea of having them walk to get the cheesecake was basically the idea of, what were they willing to do for a record deal? They’ve proven that they would do anything for a record deal 🤷♂️
this sub only got 52 but im glad to be one of them lol … this exactly works , i got cute and posted a bunch of tiktoks and got alot of comments under my videos way more than usual
Well Dawn ( from Danity Kane ) did say that the label didn't believe in them and they wouldn't sell more than Cassie's album. CASSIE who sold on her first ( and only studio ) album first week 100,374 copies. They (Danity Kane) sold 243,000 first week and could have sold more has the lable shipped more! so I believe it! DaBand sold 203,000 first week as well!
I cant speak on how truthful these accusations are from women, but i can tell you that watching the original "Making The Band" as a kid made me dislike Puff. Them, Day 26 and Danity Kane had ALOT of potential and he screwed them..I want them to tell their stories
That was some disrespectful sh** he did to them when he made them walk to get his fat a** some cheesecake. He played with their emotions and their time. 😔 Gorilla Peace 🦍
If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. I don’t give af what type money Diddy was talking about, I wasn’t finna play myself to try and get it.
@@Deenique16 no its not lol. There's only a handful of groups where, ALL 5 singers could be solo or sing lead. Most groups have 1 - 2 strong vocalists and that's it
Y’all gotta understand though that Ness had the most talent lol Dylan was a huge headache who wasn’t special,Fred P was mediocre weed and so was choppa.Sarah was just a regular singer she didn’t stand out and babs was somewhat decent.Of course diddy would gossip about them from time to time.Times were good when that first making the band aired on TV though lolll that show had me in tears even as a young buck
@@naebonnie oh no I agree they definitely should of gotten paid making the band was funny af and ratings wise they were doing well during that time I’m just talking about the title and gene saying diddy was talking about them behind their backs lol.Obviously he was doing that cause they weren’t that talented
