I didn't put in, for any tags this year. I thought I'd be starting in the academy this September. Turns out I won't be starting till February. Kinda screwed myself over by not taking the chance. I just didn't want to draw and not be able to hunt.

I would love to see videos on how Porter plans out all his hunts for this PIW tag and videos of each of those hunts. "Porter's PIW Hunt Series." Just follow him through his entire season.

Would love to see a Gohunt article (as a member) for someone looking for what I'd call a "meat" tag. I'm not all too concerned with racks n trophy size, but want a backpack hunt for deer/elk meat. I'm a new hunter, and am trying to learn to find animals, and really looking for opportunity. I'm just a hungry son of a gun haha

I agree as well. Even cow/doe tag strategies. There’s a lot of new hunters that came into this a bit later and we don’t have the advantage of having gotten to save up a ton of points and we would be old men by the time we did. Knowledge transfer on these opportunities would be awesome.

Damn porter that’s an amazing tag. Good for you! Don’t stress on it man I live around Reno so if you haven’t gotten a deer by November you can come hunt 194-196 there is some HUGE bucks in here and it’s a November rut rifle hunt. Also 021 is the petersons and it’s a December rifle hunt. You have amazing options for a gigantic buck up here. Good luck 👍🏻

Would really like to see an episode on "applying for tags over time" as a non-resident alien (Swedish). Can I, as a non American, apply for tags or do I simply go with OTC? Thank you for creating great content and spreading the knowledge.
