I really need to say, you are very, very brave. Crossing so many borders, alone, in territories considered globally dangerous is not for everyone. You have my full admiration. Congratulations!!!!
Yet no where near as dangerous as the USA with people walking around our city streets with loaded guns and polluted minds full of hate for anyone who has a different opinion from theirs
Noraly's parents certainly did a good job in raising Noraly and I suspect her mother fed her surreptitiously a little ground atlas along with her breast milk. And there was also accidentally a hair of a cat with it. Noraly loves all animals and cats. So.......a German young man , Martin, wanted to travel the world on his motorcycle. He bought a bike and made a training round to Morocco. On the way back to Germany he saw a little kitten on the roadside. The kitten climbed up his arm and fell asleep. What to do?...... He travelled half of the world with the cat. There is a book: [ Einmal mit der Katze um die halbe Welt] and a few Video's on RU-vid. .
You might also enjoy "Little Chinese Everywhere" charming vlogger showing the remote areas of China. Also her 1st season from Europe through Turkiey, Iran, Malasia, Borneo etc.
My ailing health keeps me pretty much confined to my apartment, but with your help, Noraly, I am still able to see the world! Thank you so much for sharing your great adventure with us!
I am 67 and my heart operates 20-25%. Lots have changed in my life too. But I still have a bike, useful for my daily errands. We have a bad traffic situation in our country. The car gets stuck. By 11:00 am, my energy peters out, so I do not go on long trips. Noraly has opened up a unique world for us. She is like the USS Enterprise............." TO BOLDLY GO, WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE ! " Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.
It has been an amazing journey following Noraly on her many adventures! Her footage often makes it feel like we’re along for the ride. Plus, the aerial views are fantastic and really bring the area into perspective!
Your smile under your helmet while riding through this beautiful landscape, everybody who knows this feeling understands what travelling on a motorcycle means....😊
I'm continually reminded how unfazed you are about being in the country and subject to random "checks" by paramilitary groups. But, people are basically good and I wish that you always find more of them in your amazing travels. There's no one else like you, Noraly. Thanks for bringing the world into our homes.
Paramilitary groups? What an ignorant statement! This is a common thing in most of African countries. These checks are for the protection of the citizens. They can also be seen in Ghana mostly in the evening. Your part of the world is not the only "civilised" or "peaceful" place in the world. Just because you're not used to something doesn't make it dangerous. I have more fear for the American police than I have for the so called paramilitary groups because you can talk to them like human beings.
I can’t ever get over how you must feel when you make another border crossing. The “welcome to _____” is always said with such relief and exuberance. Guinea certainly gave you some challenging roads. Can’t imagine how bad they will be in rainy season. Have certainly enjoyed the seeing it thru your lens. Your videography just keeps getting better! Great video Noraly!
First...'Bored' ???....whatever you want to talk about Noraly, we will never be bored......Second....the views from that drone flight were stunning....the plateaus with the valley below !!!!! Fantastic.....Thanks Noraly !!!!
Noraly's talking about her current location's conditions aren't boring for me, because it's all part of her journey and experiences, and the more she shares, the more real it is for me. Keep it up, Noraly.
"I somehow strayed off the main track"; "I didn't expect..."; "This wasn't part of my plan." The life of the Itchy traveller, who always ends up somewhere interesting and exactly where she intended. Another great video and some lovely shots of the country, interspersed with some worrying "unofficial" checks. All in a long days journey for Noraly. I think we worry more than you!
Dear Noraly, I haven't been missing a single one of your episodes for I don't how many years now, and all I can say is THANK YOUUUU! For me, you are Ms Braveheart per se ❤. Of course, it's not only your braveness that impresses me much but also your great professionality and discipline. And with all the success you have had in terms of follower numbers, you have maintained your unboastful personality. Always big thumbs up from me😎👍👌
Seven years of global motorcycle adventures has developed your senses as to what is acceptable & what isn’t. You are a geologist who also has a great understanding of the fundamentals of a lot of rain (torrential?) + a lot of sloping dirt roads & tracks = a lot of potential problems. lol another great view of a part of the world I will never see. Your GoPros & drone images are much appreciated. Thanks for another informative ride. Stay safe. Stay as dry as you can. Keep as upright as you can. Looking forward to you Wednesday post.
Some great drone video, so glad you didn’t have to sleep in a mould infested room, I am often surprised at the high quality of the rooms you are able to find in such out of the way places. I suppose that speaks to my sheltered life in Canada. Keep smiling, Noraly, you are an inspiration to all who crave adventure !❤❤❤Rick
You can tell it's motorcycle country just by how unimpressed the various livestock in the road are by your bike. 😄 Aaaand, the drone up - I always gasp at the wonder of Nature when you do that, then pause the video a million times to examine the terrain. Cool mesas, buttresses, whatever they are called, with mounded rock hills alongside. So different in formation, but likely shaped by the same conditions.
Buttresses are good. Nice rock there. I was wondering how climable it might be even though I that's behind me. A mesa is a flat high up plain at the top of those buttresses. It's Spanish for table.
Hey Itchy Boots!! Thank you for that stunning drone footage!! You continue to impress..AGAIN!!! With your travel experience, it’s good that you listen to those gut feelings regarding checkpoints..of course those guys always want to go with you…not today my friend, there’s no room!! Congrats on another easy border crossing! Always happy to see the joy and smiles on your face! Rain, rain stay away..we need to see Noraly riding another day!! Cheers to you ! Hugs from Texas USA❤❤
I have such admiration for you! You are living the dream I have always wanted. Now into retirement, I'm enjoying my dream through your videos. God Bless! Safe Travels. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures. You are a very brave woman. Greetings from Texas, USA! 🥰
I don't know why I get excited seeing Noraly's travels as I'm never going to these places. Somehow her excitement at new places is infectious and the scenery always stunning !
Although I find that now I have more context when reading about, for example, the experience of women in Mauritania-although it’s more a familiarity with the environment than cultural issues.
I think it is exciting as even though I am not going to these places it is just interesting to see what it looks like. Makes me understand a little more about the world.
Stunning views of the area on the way to Sierra Leone! The aerial view are always amazing! Your camera hides the difficulty of the treks you were on earlier in the day! Great to have an easy border crossing and find a nice place to stay! Ride safe Noraly!
Noraly's great personality disarms the officials and possible dangerous people. I really feared for her in the Stan countries, but even there, she was respected. Perhaps having 1.68 subscribers watching her every move helps some too.
Another great episode. I'm interested to see what you find in Sierra Leone. I was there in the 80s and it was an encounter with what I would call a failing state. Massive poverty, and endemic corruption. Nothing worked, Government workers were never paid, runaway inflation, and it got far worse later with a brutal, nasty war, fuelled largely by diamonds. Despite this all the people I met were wonderful and kind to me and to each other and just tried to make the best with what they had. I often wonder about them and how they fared. Loving your journey and hope you have a lovely ride through Sierra Leone. From the border crossing it looks like a huge improvement.
Well west now is perfectly balanced, 33 trillion in debt, waging wars from 50s, inflation, all time high poverty, but to the delusional people, all is great ;) :)
I just recently found your channel and am LOVING IT! I get a few things from your channel, 1- shows people not to be afraid of just traveling to New places 2- shows women can do this 3- shows the beauty of the land and people around the world. 4-I was going to sell everything I own and try sailing, but I would have to learn how to sail, but then one of your videos popped up last month and I said to myself"that's it! I bike, I have 2 motorcycles , and all I want to do is travel" well there it is. I'm planning for everything to be sold and everything else taken care of and on my way within 6 months-ish 😁 And it's all your fault❤️ Take care&Stay safe. From Nova Scotia, Canada eh! 🇨🇦
For me, it was the first season or first trip, was most impressive, the videos wasnt that good from editing or time wise. But to know every country beetween asia and europe was facinating, the people, the views, the visas. It was mind blowing. Season 2 was good. After that it is kindla getting lower or not that exiting. Also first part in africa. (Not this season)
It took me a year to find the time for a little binge-watching. I was busy with things that all seem so pointless when you could just pick up your bike and go... be out there... see the beautiful earth with its red soil and the big rock with a monkey face (at 12 minutes). Watching this series makes me quite happy!!
It appears my comments are not within Noealy's medalian purview, so I am deleting them. Thanks to the 25 people who gave my comments a thumb up. I will make my comments more banal in the future, if I chose to make any.👎💔
Noraly's Itchy Boots RU-vid channel still holds the number one spot in my book on any travel channel on the internet or TV for that matter. She is one amazing woman, a world ambassador connecting people around with world without bias or crazy politics. Like Tina sang: "You're simply the best, better than all the rest!"
Alaska has been over more Ruff Roads than any Bike in History of Bike Riding, I know she is not Human but I Feel for her. Thanks again Noraly for All the Many Journeys that You continue to Take us on...
Wow, the harder the tracks the happier Noraly seem to be. Nuff respect to our Wonder woman Bless up 🙏🙏❤️ Love your work 🎉 Watching from the land downunder Sydney NSW
Grosses bises Noraly ! Mireille de France
Even how much I love that you post new vids everyday, I understand why you get 3 days break, you've work so hard infront of the camera and even works harder behind.
An inspiration to so many. You empower people to 'have a go'. You show us all that people are fundamentally the same the world over. When we're feeling a bit down, you raise us all up with your adventures. You allow us the privilege of travelling with you. You bring us Action, Education, Inspiration, Information. We all care and feel every bump in the road, worry about what comes next and joy at your achievements. Keep doing what you're doing.
This may be my favorite drone footage you've shot so far! It looks so raw and beautiful there in Guinea!! Also, your music choice for the drone coverage is so beautiful!! There is just so much to love with you Noraly!! Thank you for the pleasure you bring to so many!!
I am pretty sure this wasn't a "Hostel" after all.. 😬😬 Awesome Episode, and the Drone flying was epic and beautiful Landscape. 👍👍👍 It's always goof to trust your guts😉😎
I always love that "Welcome" to every new country entered. That morning breeze too was a very nice and refreshing. Hope Alaska will have its TLC at Freetown. Best of luck. Till the next video. Keep safe Noraly
Thank you Noraly for visiting and showing only the good side of Guinea. Wish you all the best throughout the rest of your road trip. And yes, they are all legit checkpoints. Sometimes, officers in charge might use villagers for the rope and first contact.
I breathe a sigh of relief every time I get a new post alert. This is an adventure I would dare not take myself as i have lived too long and seen too much.
Noraly, I love to hear you talk about the challenges that, not only you, but the locals face. It's highly unlikely I will visit these places but I love to learn about them from Itchy Boots on the ground, not documentaries that only choose what they want us to see. You show the good, the bad, and the ugly. I love when the music starts to play because I know we're in for an epic ride and views. Your smile says it all about how much you love to travel like this. I love spending my Sunday and Wednesday mornings with you and a cup of coffee. ❤ As always, stay safe and thank you for taking us along. Now, to watch this episode again. It was a grand one!
Finally caught up! This episode marks a checkpoint of my own journey through your adventures, Noraly. Forced myself to start with SE1EP1, and travelled with you through every episode in between. Every season has been an improvement on the last, in terms of production quality and wonder. Thank you so much for breaking up the minutia of the day, and showing the true beauty of places that are represented poorly by traditional media 🙏
Evolution 'in terms of production quality ' by all means, but to me at least the dutch and south African series were slightly less interesting. And the favourite ones being the 2, 6, Scandinavian and the current one.
I've been following you for many years, sometimes more fanatically than others, depending on where you are. The United States, for example, was beautiful but not very adventurous. Right now, on the other hand, my respects, you are at the height of adventure and risk and I see you with great interest, hoping that everything turns out well. I feel that when I see you I accompany you and that helps you, although I know it's ridiculous. Sometimes I can smell the danger you're in, I know it because I grew up in a dangerous country and, keeping proportions, I also like to venture. I wish you the best of luck and know that I am with you, even if it is in soul.
Ah Noraly, what a way to end a wet, cold, day. A glass of wine and Itchy Boots. The roads you travel, your skills on the bike. And you find places to stay, you are the worlds' great traveller. (and great blue eyes). And the magnificent drone shots, what a way to see the world, thank you so much.
Yet another fabulous episode. Thank you, Noraly for so competently sharing your incredible experience. I am slightly surprised that the whole of Africa doesn't know you're coming by now, and greet you with cheering crowds and waving flags at every border..... 🤪
Simply Stunning.. and if anyone ever was thinking on and had any little question/doubt on whether to buy/own a Honda rally... these videos should answer anything... Honda should have you on their brochures ! :)
It was wonderful to see your bright eyes and sunny smile as you rode through the beautiful landscape of Guinea. Thank you for the aerial footage and beautiful music!
Admiro a sua coragem e espírito aventureiro. Eu nasci em Angola e adorava fazer o mesmo percurso de mota de Lisboa até Luanda! Mas sózinho, nem pensar! Parabéns pelas belas imagens de África que nos proporciona. Boa viagem!
Your adventures are always amazing. I really appreciate the views of the local geography. More in the world than I ever thought possible. Thank you, Noraly. Peace
Noraly, you’re such a bright light as your adventure unfolds, in so many different African countries. You always leave a smile behind, with respect and heartfelt joy. Thanks for caring most of us on the back of your bike, I imagine we get a little heavy from time to time. 😂❤
Yes, the bridges in Guinea have been much nicer than many you have dared to cross in your journey. The spectacular drone shots at 11:12 were epic in nature, where the distant horizon boldly outlined a steep butte, similar to those you're shown to us in your Mexican travels. I particularly liked the cut to your smiling face at 12:36 showing how astounded you are to be there. 🙂👍👍 Follow the rainbows, Noraly! ♥
Your content is like watching a block buster movie... Extremely exciting, information, rich content.... Etc... I am glued all day and night... Awesome work Sis... More grace
Flexibly and easy to change plans on the go. Quit a trek down off of the plateau, with questionable barriers too. Noraly found a nice room going with the flow.
I am so amazed at the beauty each country offers. Noraly your beaming smile going through the mountainous area says it all and why you love travelling. I am so thankful to you for taking us along.
Leaving another beautiful country. Those drone shots were breath taking! I think you was wise to not stay at that first place as the risk of an infection of any sort is not what you want. Thanks for sharing again. The guy asking for all your files was hilarious!
Once again Noraly the greatest. Such stunning scenery, the green contrasting with the red roads. Thanks for bringing us all with on this special journey💕💕💕
Aaahhh! A breath of fresh air with stunning drone footage. I really love seeing geology of the areas that I will never see. Thanks for the great video.
Only two seasons in those regions, the wet one and the dry one. The wet one turns red dust into into red clay that also dyes your clothes that colour! Have fun dear Noraly ❤️ Blessings all 👋👋🌺
Wish I had traveled in my younger years and solo, too! Now at 56, I have joint pain, hip bursitis and it is not fun at all. Good for Noraly to follow her heart, her dreams and allow us to follow her journey as a solo female moto rider!! Sorry, I don't know the appropriate term to use. She is enjoying life to the fullest at such a young age and Kudos and blessings to her.
Erg blij dat je nu in Sierra Leone bent, een land dat politiek behoorlijk turbulent is en bovendien met het komende regenseizon in West-Africa zoals je ook zei. Ik waardeer wat je doet, bedankt ! Altijd recht vooruit Noraly !
Congratulations for another successful border crossing Noraly. Riding the unpaved roads is always tricky inasmuch that one can easily go off track and get lost. Brave of you to ride these paths but its true that luck favours the brave. Welcome to Sierra Leone Noraly , be safe and ride safe. PS - Drone shots were marvelous once again. No Itchy Boots Vlog is complete without them.
You Amaze Me Every Time! Noraly!'🏞️🤍🕊️ Your Friend seemed such a 'Kind Viking'⚔️ I expected his helmet to be made of Brass! lol' Peace, Blessings Health and Safety Always for You Noraly!...and Blessings also for Alaska Always!⚙️🌎🌍🌏🍀
