Honestly, looks like it took a shit load more effort to do that.. looks cool, but I don’t know if you would call it “handy”. Handy is convenient in this really just looks inconvenient.
Corners like that are really annoyng to deal with, you need to commit REALLY hard to take them and if you go slightly wide you're going down. It may not be faster, but it involves less risk and it looks cooler too, so it's a win win
