Sir I understand but what about parents? I'm getting approx 430 marks and my mom and dad are so disappointed in me. This was my 2nd attempt. I don't have any preference for branch and I love 2nd yr subjects. But my parents are vehemently opposed to my taking of such "unglamorous" branch instead of clinical ones and am branded idiot and dumb for not securing it despite nearly 2yrs of preparation. Constant comparisons with my younger brother who has high paying job after getting in IIT doesn't help. Being a girl, they feel that I won't get good marriage proposals if I get in these branches and I'm literally sick and tired of all the whinging and taunting since marks came out. What to do sir?
