I was born into a hindu family got frustrated with 33 million gods and goddesses, deities, then tried following buddhism, and became an atheist. But I had love for Jesus since I was a young boy, so I started learning about him and, I converted and became a Christian and I finally feel peaceful with Jesus now.
I absolutely love Jordan's story. I encountered the love of Jesus in 1971 when I first received Him. I was a catholic living a very sinful and self-centered life. I then shared Jesus' love with my best friend, an atheist, and he received Jesus with a few weeks. Then we shared his love with many in our high school, and many more got saved. Jordan's story should be shared with anyone who has a heart to listen. Jesus' love never gets old, even after 49 years! "He gets sweeter and sweeter as the days go by, O what a love between my Lord and I." (words of a song).

Both my girlfriend and I were strong catholics up until 1971, then we left together to meet with Christians who met in homes, plus with some born-again gatherings where the Bible was taught. We've been married now for 48 years, and we read our Bibles virtually every day. Plus I now teach the Bible in a Bible Study, plus I travel to southern India to teach the Bible to church pastors. I am truly blessed beyond measure. A sinner saved by grace alone.

@@ayyheloo2292 your question is somewhat difficult to answer, it is possible to see and hear Jesus Christ, but I think seeing and hearing Jesus Christ has two sides to it 1., you must be seeking Jesus Christ earnestly, 2., Jesus Christ makes the decision on when and how the answer to your prayer to HIM to reveal HIMSELF is given, in other words the decision on your prayer is in Jesus Christ's hands but Jesus Christ is very kind and usually answers your prayer , there may be many times when Jesus Christ has revealed HIMSELF to even those persons who didn't seek JESUS CHRIST. you have to have holiness at the same time being humble before Jesus Christ in other words you always have to remember it is Jesus Christ' grace that purifies you and not your own deeds. coupled with holiness you also have to read the HOLY BIBLE and pray to JESUS CHRIST every single day , don't let a day pass without doing the same, this strengthen your spirit and soul. you have to have the HOLY SPIRIT. this is as far as I can explain it. remember holiness needed in mind and spirit along with in body.
I laid down and gave up in 2017~ I called out to God for help. Until then I battled so much grief over 49yrs, I loathed myself and battled depression. That day I called out to God, I was held in His Love, it flowed Into me and I thought I would burst. It was a supernatural Love and I was told to open my heart like a flower opens its petals to the sun and be loved. I felt God was telling me He would never let me go. I was literally being held in a bubble of Love. I was held so tightly. All my fear left. That moment my mind was healed. I cry whenever I think of His love. I then went another 3 yrs trying to understand why Jesus, because I called out to God. I couldn't understand why I had to go through Jesus when I called out to God and was saved. I finally understand. Yes I fell in Love with our Heavenly Father but I didn't know Him. So through understanding and learning about Jesus Christ, I came to understand who Our LORD God is. How amazing is our Father. I will never forget that morning, it's the most real I have ever felt in my whole life. I was literally reborn, I became a daughter of God and not filthy rags, beaten and forsaken. Hallelujah all praise to our Heavenly Father. Peace and Love unto all. 🕊️💌🕊️🙏🏻

I recall hearing about a woman who told Padre Pio that she didn't believe in hell. Padre Pio answered-'You will when you get there.' Amadu Kamara C.S Lewis is a Christian. He’s written several of Christian books, including the chronicles of Narnia. Some people don’t know this, but the book is actually based on Biblical events and it’s represented lots of biblical symbolism and characters.

All is possible, C S Lewis also left his Christian faith behind after his Mother was sick and died from Cancer. later on in his life he converted and started a long Journey back to his Faith in God. Lewis was a very Talented man and I believe he wholeheartedly wanted to pay something back to God using his writing skills.

Huston Smith's book Tales of Wonder indicates how this son of Christian missionaries needed to explore things other than what he was born into. It's a very meaningful book ( to me). His words about the death of his daughter from cancer were beautiful. I think he seemed to learn or accept that there were similarities in many of the religions he immersed himself in; and, that he was most comfortable in the religion he was born and raised with. Like loving the vegetable soup recipe your mother made.

This story of Aslan sacrificing Himself was not the first time I heard about the cross. But it was the first time I connected heart-to-heart and it was at a time when I was drinking, doing drugs and trying to avoid God. But somehow, I came across the Narnia series in a bookstore and decided to read them... Amazing how God is able to reach us where we are, and have us take the next step. I have the very spirit of the God of the universe living in me and through me. I'm now able to enter into Gods kingdom with boldness and confidence, through Christ the son of the living God, who came in the flesh, not to judge man, but to save them from condimnation and death. I used to live apart from Christ, I used to seek after every desire and lust that I could think of. I used to seek after only myself and the things in this world...money, women, cars, drugs, you name it. I believed that success was material. I used to think that my identity was in this world and that it could fulfill my deepest needs, but it can't! There is a hard price which we will pay on that path! This is why when you look around, you see growing sadness, missery and distruction everywhere. It's a fallen world and this came by the lack of obedience of 1 man and 1 women. This was their choice not Gods! He gave free will, because he loved us. But they chose to be their own God. So, we fell from God, but after that, through out the whole scope of history, after the Garden of Eden and before Christ, which you will find in the (historical texts of the old testament in the bible) God was protecting the decendents of his son out of the garden all the way to the cross, so that he could one day bring us salvation through Jesus. Christ is the answer to the problem of sin, which man chose to create! Sin is the root of all the trouble of the world and it starts in the heart of man. God loved us enough to send his only son into the world, as a perfect sacrifice to save you my friend. But he will not force you to take the free gift of salvation which he has offered to us all. But Christ will one day return and it will be just like the days of Noah. The flood is coming and Christ is the ark. For those not in Christ, who choose to be their own God, they will remain in Adam and not in Christ. But those in Christ will enter before God in No condemnation, because the except the free gift of salvation by believing in Christ. The best part is Now, he didn't just die for us, but that he has promised that when we except him, he will come by his spirit and live in us and give us a new heart and new desires. I'm telling you that it is true and I along with millions of other believers experience his Holy Spirit daily and wouldn't sell his safety, security, peace and promise for any amount of money. We would die for it! Because we know it's true. I hope and pray that you will give some thought into believing in Christ/God if you don't, and think about excepting Christ into your life. Today I saw an interview with Carl Jung. He was asked, "Do you believe there's a God?" He paused and said, "I don't have to believe, I KNOW." What many don't understand is that, Jesus Christ and God are REAL. Once you have a Personal encounter with Them and begin a Relationship with Them, you DON'T have to believe... you KNOW! Do you "believe" in your best friend, or do you KNOW them?
I've read enough Jung in the past to know he was likely talking about a very different "God" than the one most Christians have in mind. He had a theory of the Collective Unconscious that is in contradiction to the Abrahamic God of Christians, Jews and Muslims.

Jesus has done so much in my life while reading The Narnia Chronicles. Every now and then, the truth contained in those stories struck me as a revelation from the Father's heart. They are wonderful instruments! 🥰

Yep, as a kid I loved the Narnia books and Aslan was my favorite. I couldn't wait for when he would be back in a scene. I wept, when he was sacrificed. I cheered, when he came back to life. I shouted with joy, when he defeated the evil. I hadn't even realized what C.S. Lewis had done, until I was 38 years old and had read the entire bible myself, and then realized what salvation truly was, or should I say who it was. I LOVED Aslan's heart. I LOVED Aslan's goodness. I LOVED Aslan's might. I LOVED Aslan's wisdom. I LOVED Aslan's power. I LOVED Aslan's love for others. I hadn't even realized that whom I was really loving was Jesus. I actually was in love with Him, before I even knew His name. If I were to say which character I most identified with, it was Lucy. She always believed, when others didn't. She just had a simple love and trust for Aslan, that was simply beautiful and it drew me in. I wanted to be like her. She had a relationship with Aslan, that was so intimate and I wanted it also, you could say that I was almost jealous of her as a kid. I used to pretend in my head that I was Lucy, spending time with Aslan. God answered that prayer, when I didn't even realize it was a prayer. Thank You Jesus. Now, I know Him. Now, I am like Lucy. PRAISE GOD! (Jesus, the LION from the tribe of Judah). P.S. First, God had to get me to accept that I was really like Edmund too. Then, I could become like Lucy. God had to humble my pride, and I am sooooooooooooooooooo glad that He did.

Not "become nothing," that sounds Hindu or Buddhist. You are NOT nothing ! It means turning your heart and will and mind over to Christ----which is admittedly a kind of 'death'-----but it's not becoming "nothing". That is an Eastern mystical concept.
I am a nurse and spent 14 years and volunteering years prior. I had a dream of Jesus He was over 100 feet tall and clothed in a white holy light. People were running for him and they entered Him or they ran away from Him screaming scared but knowing Him. I went up to Him but He was sad to say “You don’t love my people” I woke heart broken because this was no dream, this was a message for me and as a nurse who really cared about her patients, I couldn’t understand how with all i did for my patients, how could He say I did not love His people?! Well after this I was diagnosed with cancer and having radiation and surgeries left me alone in the hospital to think about what Christ had revealed to me and although i didn’t understand, I knew He was right and my soul depended on understanding true unconditional love and forgiveness

I used to fight a rooster named "Checo" back in 2006. I once fought my neighbor's rooster and my rooster won. It was in a clandestine cockpit in the dairy farms of Chino, California. A few days later my rooster had gotten stolen and came to find out that it was my neighbor's cousin Pedro who stole my rooster. I was infuriated and went to their house down and across the street and I demanded that they tell me where Pedro was but they didn't know, I took it as they not wanting to tell me so I socked my neighbor in the head and beat up his brother and nephew too. I ended beating up another friend of theirs that was there and had nothing to do with the incident. Long story short, Pedro came around a few months later, I beat him up at the time too. He apologized as he had given his life to the Lord. He began talking to me about God and eventually invited me to his church. I ended up accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior. Been drug free since and haven't been involved in criminal activity since then either. God bless you my friends. Jesus Christ loves you. Jesus Christ saves.

Reading CS Lewis' story 'The Seven Keys' was a turning point for me that opened up my eyes in a way I can't really explain . I was in prison at the time and that book was the turning point.. I thank GOD for him
No, we are not worthy. Jesus did not come into the world to suffer and die because we were worthy of His sacrifice. He came into the world to suffer and die because He is love and loved us despite our complete and utter unworthiness. Let's get that straight.

helen em I see your point. But when Christians talk about knowing worth, I don’t mean worth in the way you are talking about. Due to a lot of things that happened in middle school and freshman year of high school I don’t know my worth. I don’t think that I matter to God. I don’t know how to explain it but I just can’t see any value in myself compared to certain people I used to hate myself for so long and once I was born again I have a different perspective but sometimes it just hurts to remember. When I think of “being worthy” I think of someone seeing me in a way that other people haven’t seen me and caring about me.
@@followerofchrist9800 It's only when we get to the point of understanding that our own story, however pitiful and injurious, does not recommend us to God's favour, but that His great and perfect love must have its expression in His providing for us what we in no way deserved. We must cease from looking at ourselves and to ourselves but instead look only at and to Jesus, deriving our sense of worth from the fact of His imputed righteousness. Whereas once we had no worth now we have worth because of Him, because He sacrificed Himself for us. I hope you understand what I'm saying, and take hold of it, so that you cling to Jesus, and see yourself as precious because He saved you, and not because of any virtue of your own. That should free you to relax in Him and enjoy Him.

I'll be honest, the first time I saw the scene where Aslan is killed, I cried like a baby. I had both the benefit of this great story but also the understanding that it was a retelling of Christ's crucifixion. Edmund's story is that of every person on this planet before coming to the Lord or coming back to the Lord. Edmund was saved and remained a king of Narnia, not because he deserved it or because he redeemed himself. His life was saved and he remained king because Aslan payed the price. Just as our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has done for us.
I had a similar experience at about the same age. Unconditional, pure love from Christian's also helped in dismantling my atheistic views. As Lewis said...“For he claims all, because He is love and must bless. He cannot bless us unless He has us. When we try to keep within us an area that is our own, we try to keep an area of death. Therefore, in love, He claims all. There’s no bargaining with Him.” Love, grace, and truth, are the winning combination.

I've been there and hated Christ story, and there were no firmness and stability to my life. Now I've found the values and truth that can't be moved by anything in Jesus. I get immutable hope everyday in my life through Him.
The book "Imagine Heaven" by John Burke has hundreds of testimonies of people who died and came back to life via CPR, or other means, Their testimonies of heaven and seeing Jesus regardless of faith or backgrounds, is a book that will help your faith.
Thanks for sharing. It's such a blessing to hear testimonies of lives changed by the work of the Holy Spirit. People can argue points of theology, but it's hard to argue against a life, a mind, a heart truly changed by encountering the truth about who God is and who Jesus is. I SO relate to her story. I wasn’t raised in any religion pretty much grew up agnostic (and I never read the narnia books ) but I so relate to that search for truth and understanding and that need for an intellectual explanation of God and spirituality and morality, and finding all things continually pointing back to Jesus. It really is humbling to be able to understand the gospel the way it was meant to be understood. God tells us if we seek him sincerely the truth will be revealed to us and I can only feel immense gratitude that the Lord opened my eyes and humbled me enough to accept the love of Christ! I feel so sad sometimes for people who are stuck in that anger against God and religion that they might never come to a point where they’re able to approach Him with fresh eyes and an open mind. I pray for everyone who is unsure or confused or has even a sliver of a question or doubt about God - research all religions, morality, philosophy, try to understand the possibility of God and WHAT He truly is and then approach the gospel with a new awareness and see if your mind isn’t blown and your heart isn’t filled with the love God has for us.

Raised up by Buddhist parents. As much as I know that they wanted the best for me, their solution to mental problems was meditation. When I meditated, I felt very empty and alone and it drove me further to misery. When I found Christ, he filled the empty void and nothing else has fulfilled me as much as him. I came to Christ because of evidence of the Resurrection and stayed because he will never forsake us.

I heard someone say recently that God is too irrational to be intellectual! How often it is the object of our greatest pride that is our biggest barrier to knowing Jesus. It is humbling! As a storywriter, I am an intellectual and I can relate to all the questions atheists have, but in all those years I found that the Bible is the most logical book ever written, and that no human being can invent such a story that surpasses all literary standards, is full of wisdom, and also makes more sense than anything else in this world.
Jesus stepped in and stopped me from committing suicide! All praise, honor and glory to Him, the Name above all Names!!! When you feel His love it's so fierce and all consuming, and impossible to describe, you feel as though you are going to burst from the intensity of it!

Amen to that. I will tell you that even when they know and still don't give their lives to Christ. It gets harder and harder to keep your own faith going. I pray for the strength I need to keep believing. So that I may enjoy my place with my Lord in heaven.

I'm much happier, and much freer (not free to sin, as Christians like to put it, but free in the mind). I don't need a god to give me purpose or joy. It just is not necessary.
