I am sharing how I store my dies. I really like being able to flip through my dies on top of my craft cart. The semi open storage means that you can easily access them but can also be mostly hidden away for a clean look.

I wish I had seen this video 7 years ago, it would have saved me a lot of money.

Good idea on how to recycle the magnets we receive from businesses. I would always pitch them.

I love using the Zip Top Bags for Die storage because if a Die slides off of the magnetic sheet then the bag is still sealed. . I also use the magnetic vent covers to stick the die on and find them easy to cut to size and you get a lot from one package. I used the plastic cutting mats from the Dollar Tree as my dividers because I find them to be more sturdy. I am going to check into your storage bin. I am using several small ones but the larger one would be great. Thanks for sharing. Great storage.

I love how neat they are. I use the clear snap pockets that the Dollar tree sells. I think they come in packs of three. I label each one by theme and I just keep the whole die pack in the original packaging in each pocket. I also keep stamps in them as well. that way if I am looking for fairies I just pull out the fairies envelope and all my fairy stuff is in one spot 😃 I used to keep it by company but I have millions of dies and stamps now so it doesn't work for me that way anymore.

Your storage is like mine but I still learned great info! I use fridge/freezer trays from Walmart as they have straight sides and allow me to store the pockets without bent corners and without added bulk on the shelf. I love the idea of your tabs being larger - mine are but since I don't use as wide a tray, it gets very messy. I will begin using the wider trays since I can actually get more in - by putting smaller stamp sets with two pockets next to each other. Finally, this video has solved one of my irritating problems - labels. I never thought to use the stand-alone dies in a separate box - that eliminates problems for me! I tried a 'shapes' label but it filled quickly and was still hard to use. THANK YOU! Great ideas. I do use the heavier storage pockets sold for stamp and die storage but think your solution is better. My pockets don't allow for thicker stamps easily and when I put the dies behind the stamps it gets really crowded. I'll use your link to get the storage bags you are using. Since you use the larger strays, I can use the larger plastic bags with no problems - more room. I subscribed and can't wait to see more.

Love the video. Very helpful. I bought some pockets for stamps and tried to use them for dies but they don’t work so well. Now make my own with laminating pouches so can vary sizes as well. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jess, I really liked this video and the most recent one you posted about alternative stamp storage along with saving little sturdy boxes. As a side note, and maybe someone has mentioned this before, and I definitely am not looking to offend you by correcting you about something. When you refer to the thickness of the zip top pouches and you say that they are 4 millimeter thick. Well, that’s not an accurate way to say this. It’s actually 4 mil., here’s what I copied off the search results: A thousandth of an inch is a derived unit of length in a system of units using inches. Equal to 1⁄1000 of an inch, a thousandth is commonly called a thou or particularly in North America a mil. The words are shortened forms of the English and Latin words for "thousand". When using millimeters (mm), it’s also to measure thickness but not based on inches. The reason I did research on this is because I use (mm) all the time for beading. On one hand it’s very confusing and on the other I still find it confusing 😂

This was a very timely video for me as I'm reaching a storage crisis for both my dies & stamps. Thank you for showing a simple yet efficient way for storage. As for categories, I don't craft for profit but for pleasure so I don't need to store by manufacturer to reference in videos or blogs. Do you think themes & shapes would be good? Thanks again.

just wondering how many different size storage bags you use? i too prefer those thicker resealable bags. i found that the seams of the stamp storage pouches tear too easily. thank you!

I use 4 different size bags. There are a variety available. The ones I use most commonly are linked. As long as you stick to the 4mil I have found they are very durable.
