@@modergav Exactly! It's a toy car! It has nothing to do with driver performance. It can still be lucky and get a quicker time in the future, or the other cars get unlucky and get a slower time. That's the beauty, anything can happen when the human factor is out of the picture.
This is amazing... It has to have the most underrated production value on RU-vid. I mean, from kids to grown men; what's not to love about this channel?
Last year was about points. This is about speed. Steven king was never fastest. But he is kind of all rounder fast, have good control, manuverable and same goes with angi stig. But in season 4 he was way too slower which cost him championship. Last year he won 3 champ. It was all luck Dylans car is better them his. Kidd and steven match was the most epic one. But steven won with a bit of a luck. Season 3- Ryu Asada was the fastest among all. But in finals steven won because of his consistent good performance. Till now there are 3 cars that are all rounders(fast, manuverable, good control and consistent) in my opinion 1-Steven King 2-Dylans Car 3-Angi Stig This track is all about speed not really rally.
@@mohd.nabeelkhan6120 I agree with you. That new track just for speed drivers but not to consistent drivers and also as your comment, that track looks like downhill race rather than rally.
@@janrupertalfeche8959 No one is saying about the rookies. I am just telling how the new track differs from the old one and the qualifying criteria. This is all about speed(80% speed,20% control on those two bumps). Which results the faster will be more faster. And we will not be able to see all skills of a car But yeah this is just qualifier. Lets see whats next. They should add a broken bridge in between a track over which cars have to fly. That will really awesome to watch❤️
“When I finally got put back together I went back expecting a big welcome you know what they said. Your history. Move right on to the next rookie standing in line. There was so much left in me. I never got the chance to show them” - Doc Hudson
I'm floored that NONE of the DRC champs and legends of last year made it and were edged out by almost entirely new competition! Ryu is my top fave, but hot damn if I'm giving Dylan some looks. 👀
I never thought a filipino rally racer will be competing. FUN FACT:pedro penduko is a character who fights against creatures with evil powers. by using his medalion with different stones.
Ryu Asada and now Dylan pulling Crazy Jimmy shenanigans. I still cant get over how well the commentary flows and how well they work off each other, it really makes this come ALIVE.
@@sapphire1794 Isn't it obvious? They never talk at the same time, they both have a lisp, and 2D is obviously a pitch shifted version of 3D. Sorry to ruin the illusion haha.
When Ryu's car spun out I was like, "Well, there goes another favorite car". And then he went all the way down in reverse at full speed and won, securing a place in the top 4. That was amazing.
The Evo 10s are great cars even in diecast. But they are boring as hell. Renault Megane, great; Lancia, fantastic; Porsche, classic; Fiero, respectable. I think I want the evo to win the least.
@@nomirrors3552 This seems unlikely. I am almost 100% certain he raced these races right after another. There's absolutely ZERO sense in making one race, then going to edit it, and then do the next one after editing and uploading. That sounds crazy to me. I bet he raced all the qualifyings, maybe even the final races, and then started editing and adding music/commentary. So there's little to no chance that there was any editing of the track.
@@nomindseye That would make some sense, but if after the first round he realized there was something slowing cars so they couldn't make that spiral turn, he might have tweaked a jump and resumed filming, keeping the first round because it was already recorded. When you look at the first round, cars were not getting around that spiral with any kind of speed. Now they seem to get through just fine.
@@nomirrors3552 Maybe? But in that case, if I was him, I'd just modify the track and then do the first race again? Because it's not like it's difficult to delete footage from cameras and then re-record sub 20 second runs again.
But why re run if it's already done? What if he DOES record weekly and not all at once? In my opinion the spiral had to have been adjusted, they were actually accelerating in it this time! Last video it was slowing everyone down.
I just accidentally stumbled on this channel and I was curious as to how does this work and, man, the 2D and 3D ate serious at there job that make this series enjoyable. Hats off!🤩
My favourite hot wheels when I was a kid in the late 90s to early 2000s was a gold escort just like the one in the video. A lot of memories rushed back to me, damn. Made my day.
Awesome work fellas, really entertaining it took me back to the 80s as a kid when i used old guttering to send my Cars down, I had an old British transit Ambulance which was unbeatable.
And as so...one generation ends the other begins, we say goodbye to our legends: Steven king, crazy jimmy, angi stig, and our favourite wild child, kid duknott, as we open the doors to our future racers who look to carry on the legacy of the DRC...RIP Legends🙏🚘
So I paid big bucks to watch this race...show up and I have to sign waiver after waiver. Even one that stated they weren't responsible if some dude named 2d hit me with a tofu taco. Only too find I cant watch roadside on a bench due to safety concerns! So instead I get stuck up in bleachers behind the race booth where I cant see the finish line or any of the crashes! Watch my heros Crazy Jimmy and Stephen King fall.... only good thing came was at the end going home... found a slighty dented air compressor beside my truck! Needed one for the farm too! So all in all not a bad day!
I love the background details. The ambulance showing up after the second crash lol. You need to add crash fencing for those spectators on the next round!
Well, we've definitely identified potential locations off the side of the track where there should be safety measures put into place. I expect 3D to put in a kiddie-playground where Steven King's tent was.
I thought I was waiting for the F1 season to start...turns out I was waiting for this day, and THIS spectacular race action! Best day at the track yet!
Well now you've done it 3D. Today my son and I bought 10 new cars and we're going to start building a track in the garage this week. It's nice to have an activity he wants to do that doesn't revolve around video games. Just want to say thank you for all of your creativity, hard work, and dedication. You're awesome!
"Wooooooaaaaaaahhhhhh. Ryu Asada does a Shoryuken unto Steven King..." Man, 3D and 2D are the best behind the mic. This DRC will be amazing. Ready for next week's round 1.
In all fairness to 3D, I think the Tatsumaki Senpuukyaku might've been more appropriate as it's next to impossible to pull off a Shoryuken from behind...
My bad for making a slightly harsh assessment last week 3D. This track is starting to grow on me. Cant wait for wheel to wheel racing here, its gonna be 🔥 my moneys on Ryu Asada, Shoryuken!
@@alvarojneto no the cars were messing up the first corner casting them to move slightly and when they hit the jump their cars would fly either into the wall or off the track.
I'm right there with ya', LOLness. We must've forgot that the track was new for the drivers, too, and they were just feeling out those curves on that first run.
From time to time you end up at yt with people and things that you did not anticipate. Every now and then there is a pearl of the web and you are one. Always impressive what can be created with love, heart, dedication, passion and enthusiasm. There is more action in each of your races (20sec.) than in some entire F1 seasons. I'm full of it and in love since a while. Keep up Racing, Thanks from GOG
@@mikrotero8393 3D put out an audio last week in the pit crew area after getting the massive wave of hate where he was like, "yeah, you haven't seen what I've seen" Plus my favorite bit is him musing about how funny it is for adults to tell another adult man that he's not playing with his toy cars correctly. I laughed pretty hard at that.
Pedro Penduko has 2 'agimats' on his roof in the form of a spare tire and a fuel can to ward off the DNF curse 😁. rooting for him and the Ryu Asada in the Lancia
Me and my girlfriend watch these videos, and we have great fun. She fell ill over the weekend and passed away yesterday. But this is the last thing that we watched together before she died(we watch loads of films etc especially during the pandemic) and she laughed so much at the wrecks. I now have to watch these by myself, which isn't the same, but it makes me smile that out of all the things she watched last, it was Diecast car going backwards and airbourne! Please never stop making these videos. Thankyou!! Paul
I take back everything I said about my concerns on the speed of this track last week. It was either a bad week then or someone sanded out some friction, but wow, that was a great night of racing.
Hey 3d, the name Pedro penduko comes from a filipino comic and Tv show with the same title, where the main hero fights off various monsters and forces of evil with his magical amulet.
After the first part of qualifying I was worried that this track was going to be underwhelming but it must've just been the drivers getting used to the new track because *this was some of THE BEST rally racing I have ever seen!!*
Uhhhhh... you really didn't figure out that they modified the track after that first round disaster? Every car improved their time... and several improved by 3 seconds or more. I knew after the first two cars that the track had been changed.
@@Lumbud84 You didn't notice (a) the very dramatically noticeable visible increase in speed down the track compared with round 1, or (b) the fact that EVERY car improved their time? Really?
r.i.p to all the haters after the first half of the qualifying round. This race totally blew them out. So much faster, epic jumps, great upsets, it's got it all. Can't judge a track by one race haters.
I'll own up to my criticism, A Fellow Human, but it wasn't based in hate, but passion for racing perfection. This second run gave me chills and restored my faith in this sport. I just hope the drivers are ok after those hard crashes!
@@jerrybecker7910 I wasn't directly talking to u, as u probably know. but yes, I understand. And thanks for owning up to it. I wasn't really aiming it at anyone in particular, and I'm sorry if it came across like I was attacking u or anyone. I definitely understand the passion for racing perfection. I myself doubted the track somewhat after the first one. but I saw a lot of people hating on the track, so I thought it was good that this one proved that you can't judge a track by one race.
This video was one of the favorites. I like racing and the adrenaline rush to see how the cars jump well done, you always bring us a car drama full of surprises.
