This is awesome, man! Been a big Diesel Boy fan since the 90's. Its so rad you get to play with them! I actually saw ya'll play the show in Seattle. First time seeing Diesel Boy and it was killer!! I told my wife, I think that's the "Punk Historian" dude and holy shit it was you! Man playing with Good Riddance sounds pretty cool, plus that show with Satanic Surfer and Snuff! I wouldve loved to see that! Anyways. Thanks for the great videos. Keep up the fun!
Thanks so much for bringing us on the other side with you, and being humble by sharing your stress, the day to day and all... I always enjoyed your videos but this one is very special.
Great to see a vlog-type vid on the channel, man! All those power issues are a great learning experience, but glad y'all killed it, regardless. Glad you got a spot with Diesel Boy, bet that it was a real trip in every way. And getting to play with absolute legends like Good Riddance and Cigar... thats some real memories being made there. All the best to ya, looking forward to your future videos/endeavors! How was it meeting Steve Caballero?
Amazing. Somehow you being the new guitar player for Diesel Boy doesn't surprise me at all, congrats! Good guys all around. Sadly I lost track of what day the Portland show was and missed you guys. (This is Andy Stern replying)
Dave was my first college room mate. He was not into punk then, but he figured it out. So stoked he did this tour. Could not make a show, but much love for this band.
So awesome, bro. I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and it’s really cool to get to watch you team up with such a legendary band. Thanks for documenting the experience and sharing it with us. Wish I could have caught one of the shows. Hopefully you guys will play somewhere near Indiana soon, so I can try to make it out. Cheers, bud, and keep the vids flowing!
Great playing, dude! Been loving Diesel Boy since the 90s - 1st time live though. Awesome!!! Come back soon. I'm the first row descendents guy from Stuttgart btw. Thanks alot for your recap vid and for doing the job on the guitar! Great fun to watch! Take care - Holger
Tolmin is amazing. Went there for metaldays. Which uses the same ground. I tell people I've been to Italy too in the same way 😂 glad you enjoyed Belgium.
This is why so many bands opt to rent gear in Europe. Also why many people are pivoting to something like the HX Stomp with a Seymour Duncan powerstage. Lighter and easy to travel with. Usually it's easy to borrow/rent a cab, but even without you can go direct and still play.
Can you do a video on one of the most underground styles there is: Christian punk? Blaster the Rocket Man, 90 lb Wuss, Crux, Craig’s Brother, The Crucified, and the festival that hosted the scene for decades, Cornerstone?
So that's what happened to Chris Flippin?! I knew he was ill as he can't work his Carpentry day job anymore and needs help. Wishing the big guy all the best.
