I will talk about how electronic throttles operate and how to diagnose them.
*note for older tps type throttle counts look for a clean sweep from released to WOT. The sweep when monitoring the tps count should be consistent with an even graduation from 0 to 100 or 15 to 85. no dead spots.

great video the shop i work at was having a problem intermittently on 2 2020 cummins powered cement mixers sometimes when it rained and the truck would run but you would get know throttle pushing the pedal but if you cycled the key on and off it would work fine. it would happen 2 or 3 times a week or not happen for 6 weeks working with trucks full of cement your on a time limit for road calls if cement hardens in a barrel its like 18 grand for a new one and after covid was about a 10 month wait to get a new one.
