In this episode we prepare my 1968 wheel horse charger 12 that I bought a couple of months ago for $75 without a engine for it's new power plant, a 10hp yanmar Diesel clone. I start by sizing everything up and seeing how I'm going to do it. when we set the motor in it was super obvious that the motor mount was to small. so we would have to cut that off the weld a new one on. After welding the corners of the mount on I could put the motor in and measure to make sure it was straight. I then marked where I needed to drill holes and drilled them. Then I put the engine on and bolted it down with 3/8" thick grade 8 bolts with nylon locking nuts. In the next episode we should ready to fire it up for the first time.
