Enjoy the sight and sound of of over 40 hard-working diesel locomotives climbing Tehachapi Pass in Southern California. The video clips were chosen mostly because they sound good, so crank up the volume and rattle the windows with plenty of GE V12 EVO & V16 7FDL and a couple of EMD V16 710 prime movers :-)
The video starts at Caliente (bottom/north end of the pass) and finishes at Cable (in the Golden Hills area of Tehachapi at the south end/near the summit of the pass). It's 25 miles of steep, twisting railroad between Caliente and Tehachapi, and is part of the Union Pacific 'Mojave Subdivision'. BNSF shares the pass using long-standing trackage rights (and I think normally runs more trains over it than UP).
Most of the video was recorded in October 2019, with the 'Bealville 2' and 'Marcel' clips from October 2015.
