Diesels, often frowned upon in the car performance industry and car community, however this isn't just a diesel, this is one of the better sounding diesels, the V6 Turbo 3.0 diesel that Audi showcase in the A4, A5, A6, A7 range, and is also used in a few more VAG models too. These sound incredible with a turbo back system, as it unleashes the savage V6 note that everyone loves, and are often mistaken for petrol engines when heard with a turbo back non resonated system. This car came to us with the DPF gutted - something a lot of people think will unleash the best sound (it doesnt), indeed the car is louder but its not the best sound increase in terms of volume and tone you can get, we designed, fabricated and installed (all custom as per usual) a 3" Turbo back system, all the way to the rear RS5 style tips! but that's not all, we changed the design of the exhaust to increase the flow through the exhaust for a faster spool, as the client was also after a bit more performance too, so by moving away from the OE design and the design that everyone else offers (which has a more restricted flow) and reducing the restriction the flow was also improved throughout the exhaust, its just a shame that Audi have added the soft limiters so we cant hear the full rev range of exhaust note.
