I still can't imagine you being teased about you're weight. I get teased about my weight (or lack-thereof) semi-regularly, but I can't imagine being in school being teased on how I need to lose weight. If I lose anymore weight, I would literally be considered a paperweight.

But some helpful ideas from Mayo Clinic to slow the progression include: have regular eye exams, quit smoking (if you smoke), manage other health problems, eat plenty of fruits and veggies, wear sunglasses, reduce alcohol use.
