Lucy has discussed battling disordered eating in the past, so I am super inspired to hear how positive and enthusiastic she is about food and eating. It seems like she has done so much work to get where she is and although she is privileged to have all the tools, she has remained in the entertainment industry while gaining her new perspective. That takes effort and courage when surrounded by people who would encourage her to stay sick. I was worried by the click bait title but I am glad I watched!

Agreed, as long as the dressing is in moderation. I used to serve at a restaurant with a self-serve salad bar and I lost count of how often I saw customers make themselves ranch soup. Dressing should coat the salad to enhance taste. If people are finishing their salads and seeing pools of dressing left over, it needs to be re-evaluated.

I don't understand your advise at 6:28. "If your body guides you to eat 4 times the recommended serving size - go for it". Same for chronic undereaters with the "half a serving" remark.

I do choose 'coke zero' over regular, however not to allow myself to eat more, but rather to not add huge amounts of pure sugar when it can be avoided. A single can of coke has 40 grams added sugar, and i drink several cans of soda a day. What's better, drinking something like 120 grams of sugar a day, or a bit of aspartame?

Although I understand your comments on variety being better I do think you might be missing the fact she lives alone. As someone who lives alone I understand eating the exact same thing for a few days in a row because it is next to impossible to cook one serving of curry or anything for that matter, plus if I buy something like lettuce you really have to eat it everyday so it doesn't go bad. I hope someday you can do a video on adding variety but not contributing to food waste.

What you say about serving sizes is so spot on. I work in food testing, including testing for what goes on the nutritional panel, and it is completely arbitrary what the company decides to put as a serving size. Often it has nothing to do with nutrition and more to do with what looks best for the product - ie, a lot of products want round numbers like '100 cals' or '20g protein' '25%RDI Iron Per serving!' As selling points, and will manipulate the serving size to get it.

My favorite food city is New Orleans, LA - only visited once - but I could of stayed 2-3 more weeks just eating my way through the city. The fresh seafood was so delicious. I have to look for Nitrate free lunch meat, because it's one of the things that flares my gout really bad, when I don't. I don't know why that flares it so bad but it just does. I haven't had the same issues with the brand of nitrate free version I use - but maybe some other companies use more celery powder than others, you definitely gave me something I need to look into though.
