Dietrich Buxtehude - HERR CHRIST, DER EINIG GOTTES SOHN (BuxWV 192) 

In this video I play the very beautiful chorale prelude on the hymn "Herr Christ, der einig Gottes Sohn" (BuxWV 192) on my Hauptwerk organ on the sample set of Noordbroek.
This is perhaps one of the most beautiful chorale preludes by Buxtehude I have come across. The harmonies and the embellished cantus firmus really brings forth a very soulfull and heartfelt parafrase on the hymn "Herr Christ, der Einig Gottes Sohn". Buxtehude actually wrote 2 settings on this hymn (BuxWV 191 and 192).
