Oh same here buddy. I'm a fan of the Herbert amp, and I know it well, but it costs too much for me right new. Btw, I'm very happy with the Herbert pedal, it has that signature roar of the Herbert amp. But it really shines if you can connect into a real tube power amp, like I did on this demo.

@@apoplexiamusic Nope, I run through the power amp of the Marshall JVM410H because I miss the power amp section of any preamp pedals. The power amp really make these preamp pedals shine,

Ohh I guess you thought about the Fortin Tempest. I'm sure it's also killer with the Diezel Herbert!

Yeah. My fault. The tempest. The dude from architects signature pedal. Fortin had a crazy sale over the holiday weekend and I for the tempest and blade for $108 each. I am going to try them with my Kraken and Amptweaker next. Both those pedals love overdrive as well.
