ABOUT DIFF'RENT STROKES: Whatchoo talkin' bout Willis? Gary Coleman became a child superstar playing the lovable, mischievous Arnold in this comedy series that brought issues of race and class into American living rooms in the ‘70s and ‘80s. The series begins with Arnold and Willis; two African-American brothers from Harlem going from rags to riches, overnight.

The one thing I dislike about this clip is they took out the part where Mr. Drummond was about to physically fight with Mr. Tanner. That clip was extremely powerful since Mr. Drummond was not going to take any type of prejudice, especially against his own child. Can't believe they left that clip out.

Yes. Kids aren´t born certain ways. For instance, I remember watching the religious movies when Christ was being hurt carrying the cross and I felt this so much anger because I couldn´t understand why anyone would do that to any person. I think I was either 3 or 4.

The little girl and Arnold are just having fun as kids horsing around having fun with no thought of color on their minds, when Willis broke the news to the little girl that her dad didn't want Arnold to be his roommate at the hospital because he's black she looked totally crushed 😪.Its just evident that children do not see color and they're not racist by nature, its a learned and carried on behavior carried on by the adults,if only people can learn from innocent children about what it means to unconditionally love and accept somebody just imagine how this world could be.

Can you please give some examples? I'm an American living in Taiwan but I keep up with the news and what I see is quite the opposite? I see people saying that white people are born racist. I see people who are so angry but at the wrong people. They should be angry at the criminals that live in the inner cities where I grew up. Yes I was a white kid that grew up in the inner cities. of course I always hated because I was white. Never mind the fact that I lived on welfare and went to the same lousy public schools as my class mates did. If anything I think the root causes Democrats and their lousy policies. I lived in California it sucked

There are those who understand the ramifications of an integrated society. Especially with children. At the end of this clip it made me feel like the little girls father was right in his actions to avoid the unnecessary drama. His daughter was there to get well. Willis telling them the truth cause a visceral reaction to rebel in Arnold. We see this today with so many random couples. Together out of this same rebellion.
