What's the difference between 想Xiang, 要Yao and 想要Xiangyao? It's a question almost every Chinese learner would ask. How to remember and tell the multiple meanings of 要Yao and 想Xiang? Apart from 想vs要vs想要, what about 想vs觉得 and 想vs 想念？

Option 2 I suppose, because going to the moon is definitely something that is normally not a resolution. It’s just like a desire that probably never going to happen. So 想 would be more appropriate in this case.

You can use the common pattern for adj: S+ Degree Adverb +Adj. 天气很热。 Tianqi hen re. 水很烫。 Shui hen tang.

As non native learner who always struggle with tone if I say Yao I might say Yao as in medicine, If i just say xiang I can end up saying elephant or same....so to save myself and be polite I would use xiangyao when ask for anything 😆
