Please note: I been a weed smoker for over 10 years and I split alot of swishers I found alot of questionable stuff that wasn’t tabaco in them I promise plastic and cardboard and some stuff I don’t even know be in them don’t smoke them unless you take the shit out and put tree in there
When I was smoking weed, I visited a cigar shop while on vacation and the guy in the shop did an amazing job giving me several quality cigars that paired with the flavor of the trees I had...it was impressive. I told him straight up that I was gonna empty it and refill it with something else and he asked what it tasted like and proceeded to show me several cigars that all worked perfectly. He didn't even have to stop and think about it.
Biggest differences imo are the feel and the taste. The feel of a hand-rolled cigar vs machine rolled isn't THAT different to my casual ass, but that wrapper is what makes it and the real leaf is important. The taste of proper tobacco leaf that isn't half way to a smoking blend already is definitely significantly different, although whether it is a "better" taste is subjective. Definitely noticeably cleaner and higher quality though.
I dont think all low end cigars are made with artificial wrappers and additives. Some make use of the cut pieces and leftovers from premium cigars. So they often use leftover and second tier materials but can still be decent smokes. It really just depends on the product.
Not trying to be 🤓, but cigars don’t cause cancer like cigarettes and it also depends on which cigar you get like the cheap gas station ones but Ik it’s a joke.

Swisher sweet cigarillos smoke surprisingly well as a cigar. I'm typically an RP smoker. $12-$17 per cigar. But I tried a swisher cigarillo when offered one on a night I had no cigars with me and found the experience very enjoyable for some reason.
I only would smoke dutches when I used to smoke blunts because it was actually a real tobacco leaf and not the cardboard swisher sweet texture. I usually look for the stems or flaws in cigars to see if they’re real

Even then there are levels to handcrafted premium cigars to mass appeal manufacturers to boutique and highly selective producers. One of my absolute favorite boutique cigar brands is Didier Cigars. Their Jill, Micah and Salomon collections are amazing smokes and sophisticated.
